I took my cat to healthy Lewis Center than to Hilliard after hours. Dr Buck gave my cat a shot that made her deathly ill. She was in severe pain. I had to take her to healthy pets after hours Hilliard where the female doctor acted that she was put out and made it clear that even though it says healthy pets the two places have nothing to do with each other....High Charges,....My cat had another issue so I took her to Hilliard asked for another doctor. He treated my cat, but before he had finished her treatment. He told me not to come back because Dr Buck told him I complained about him....If your pet is part of your family, take your pet somewhere other than Healthy Pets where my pet was abandoned in her hour of need because of lies and politics. ..I had to ask myself do Vet's over dose the pets to create higher bills? Is it the good Ol' boys club where one watches the others back. After all your pet can't speak and when you try to protect them, your not allow to voice your concern..I had question about one of the medication because it looked like it might have been needed to be mixed. I was hung up on 4 times by the front desk I have a questions about one of the medications. The email address I was given is not working. This office and doctor prescribed this medication morally and I think legally they are responsible for the effects and should at least comment....Does this sound good to you?.The kicker is I asked to have my cat's nails clip. They cut the nails all the way back. There are not any nails. I sat down and cried. I had only asked for the nails tips to be clipped. I wondered how much that hurt her..In her file, it said the cat was terrified...like it was a question mark.....Go Somewhere Else! Read Less

This place is very clean and welcoming as you walk in to the reception. It is also very spacious inside so the pets are not crowded together. The staff is also very welcoming. I believe you do have to make an appointment to come in, not sure if they have walk-ins. We had a minor surgery done on a dog and the doc was very helpful in explaining everything to us. It was a bit pricey on the surgery, and they do offer financing. Our dog developed a hurnia after a week and they took care of it right away, even doing another surgery free of charge. I'm very impressed with this place and I highly recommend it for anything pet related, pedicures, hair cuts, shots, etc. Read Less

Our vet is in Plain City but when our sweet dachshund was dying in my arms, we rushed him down the street to Healthy Pets. The staff there was very caring, kind, helpful and passionate every step of the very sad way for us. I would recommend them in a heartbeat. Best vet I've ever had. I bring my dog and two cats here. The staff is wonderful, I've never had trouble getting help either on the phone or in person. I feel like I'm getting an honest answer when I speak to the vet. I don't feel like they are just trying to get me to buy something unnecessary. I feel like they ultimately care about my pets well-being. I've never used it but they also offer grooming and boarding. It's comforting to know if I have to board my pets, they would be with someone I trust.Read Less

I'm so disappointed in this location. I have been bringing my dogs to this location for over 10 years. I use Healthy Pets for stuff outside of vaccinations, which isn't often. Today I called because I've got an emergency but asked if I could pay for the service my dog needs on Friday. I was told no. Very kind, helpful doctors and staff.Since our new puppy was a rescue animal, they helped us with the cost of her visit. I appreciated this very much, since I wasn't expecting anything. I was just being a responsible first time dog owner and I'm glad they could see that.We did wait a bit in the waiting area. I recently took my 10 year old pug to Healthy Pets Hilliard Ohio 43026, for a dental cleaning. My pug ""Angel"" has had this procedure done before without any problems. But this time while under the anethesia, Angel's heart stopped beating for a very short time. The necessary procedures were done to revive Angel which was totally succesful. I thank God for Dr.Huff, she is a great vet. She is very caring about her patients. My other dog a 14 year old Shar Pei, ""Noozles"" totally trusts Dr. Huff. He is very particular who checks him. Even though all the doctors at Healthy Pets are great! I have no complaints with any of the doctors. My cat who was sick for a few days, became deathly ill and it was time to euthanize her. When calling a few vets in Central Ohio, Healthy Pets of Rome Hilliard offered to euthanize her. However, there were two fees ... a fee of $140 if I did not want to be with my cat during the euthanasia and $165 if I wanted to be with my cat. Are you kidding me? They wanted to charge me extra to be with my cat during her last moments? Talk about taking advantage of a fragile state of mine. I called OSU Vet hospital and they were able to euthanize my cat for $60 AND I was able to hold her during that moment. SHAME ON HEALTHY PETS. Makes you wonder how they euthanize pets if they discourage you from witnessing the procedure by up charging. Take your business to OSU. Read Less
