Dr Harris is wonderful, very thorough, explains everything. Especially if you are just starting out with a puppy, what to expect throughout their growing stages. The staff is very friendly, they check up on your 4 legged kids after your visit if they come in ill. Great place, clean too. Read Less

Dr Jerry is awesome. Entered the room and got down on all fours to interact and play with the puppy before even examining her. This made not only the puppy feel comfortable with him, but me too. It just showed me how important the dog is too him and that she wasn't just another quick puppy exam. He spent a lot of time in the room and I didn't feel rushed. Excellent office! Well done. We've been going to Hinckley animal hospital for at least 15 years. First with our boy Kain who passed from cancer. Than most recently for our boy Truman. Truman had severe epilepsy for 5 years. The love and care they provided him from eight weeks old until almost 10 was above and beyond what we ever expected. They helped us care for him until the very end. Our vet moved out of the area and we were at a loss. A friend recommended Dr. Harris at Hinckley Animal Hospital and we decided to give them a try. We are pretty picky. Our 9 year old lab is one of our children and we wanted the best. She's also a big baby so we wanted somewhere she would be comfortable. From the first visit we could not have been more impressed. Their offices are spotless and just smell clean. They take their animals in one door and out another which reduces their exposure to other dogs which is wonderful. I can't state enough how great this place is! Dr Jerry & Dr Oscar and the entire staff at the Hinckley Animal Hospital treat our entire furry family with the best care! We live on 5 acres and I have a mama cat that is constantly having kittens. It makes me feel good to take them in to see everyone so that they can get checked out before I find them all good homes. We have been going here for 15 years with 4 of our dogs. They have all been so friendly and caring to us. They truly care about the animals and sit on the floor and pet them. They discuss everything that is going on and make everything very understandable. They were also so awesome when we had to put down our 11 year old English mastiff Zoey who they had been taking care of since she was 12 weeks old. They even mailed us a heart with her paw print in it and a card. They are amazing people and I love going to them. There prices aren't expensive like some places. I highly recommend them! Read Less

A couple years back my family had to put down our 13 year old golden retriever. His first vet visit after we adopted him was at Hinckley, and we took him there for his whole life. He was always a great vet, a bit pricey though. However when we had to put him down, he was having heart failure and was in horrible pain, he couldn't even move. We called his vet and they told us that they couldn't fit him in at all. I've been through putting down a dog before and it isn't a long procedure. They told us to bring him in on Monday instead. You can't let a dog with heart failure suffer for three days... I was and still am appalled by the treatment my dog received after being a lifelong customer. We ended up taking him to an emergency vet clinic instead. Wish I could give him a better review. Read Less
