Our golden retriever recently developed a mast tumor on her side Hudson Veterinary took a biopsy which proved to be malignant. The whole staff was very sympathetic and well informed. Dr Bob removed the tumor by making a large incision that proved to be very beneficial. The cancer was found to be slow growing so the prognosis for the future is very good. We recently inherited a dog from a close family member that passed away. Due to our family member's condition, the dog wasn't in the best shape. Everyone is always so helpful and cheerful whenever we go in. I recently needed to get my dog in last minute on a Saturday with a hurt paw and they were able to accommodate a last minute appointment and we were in and out and on our way with medicines. We are new to the practice and have received an extremely warm, welcoming, and very easy transition for my 2 beagles! The staff has made multiple schedule accomodations for my pups and we have been treated with nothing but respect and clearly a love of animals when we come! I have been there a few times because my regular vet retired The office staff is very friendly and I never have to wait long. One thing I found frustrating is how much they charge for medicine. My dog was prescribed something and I was charged $80 at the desk. This is an ongoing medication so I shopped it around and found Drug Mart charged less than half. This left a bad taste in my mouth because I felt it added insult to injury. Read Less

New Patient Phone Screen = HappyDiane was very friendly on the phone and explained the dental price structure well (tiered by weight and tarter) with the price range for my pack (small / med and large) being $151 to $177... much lower than anyone else in the area.Office visits are also reasonable at $36.50 after what she described as a "Multi do discount" but she did not explain if that discount was across the board or only on visits.She offered up the price of vaccines and they were the same as Banfield so we may go to a walk-in for less expensive vaccines and here for dental.My hound isn't feeling well this morning and I had slightly better phone service with another vet (actually got to talk to the vet) so I'll start someplace else... but will keep this in mind for our westie to make a dental visit.
