3 months ago our pup woke up completely paralyzed in his hind quarters. We found the bigger road vet clinic and they were able to get us in very quickly to see Dr. Strahler. She is absolutely amazing!...
3 months ago our pup woke up completely paralyzed in his hind quarters. We found the bigger road vet clinic and they were able to get us in very quickly to see Dr. Strahler. She is absolutely amazing! After rounds of acupuncture, laser treatment, herbal and traditional medications. She helped us figure out ways to accommodate him at home and better care for him. I am happy to report that he now is back to normal! We cannot thank Dr. Strahler enough! She went above and beyond what is expected and was so caring and compassionate during what was an incredibly hard time for us. Dr. Strahler is THE BEST vet we've ever had!

Please stay away. I reported the vet office to the Ohio Veterinary board because of the treatment they gave my dog which ultimately led to her death and unnecessary suffering. I received the copies of the documents back and it had several lies. The whole time they tell you your dog's condition isn't changing to give you hope, just so they can keep you coming back and spending money. Not once had they contacted me about my grievances, yet in the document, they said they did. Doctors, you should be ashamed of yourselves for lying about what really happened.

I had to share this is our vet for our naked kitties. This is for their above and beyond for us we found a stray week old kitten no mom no siblings we almost hit by our mower. I called and they took it in no charge to feed it , keep it warm and try to find it a mom and home! Most places would not do this. I love them for my animals too!!!

Everyone was extraordinarily kind to my dog Riley and me on our visit to Bigger Road Veterinary Clinic. I mistakenly arrived at the Bigger Road location for our initial rehab appointment in Springboro, but the receptionists, technicians and Dr. Oakes were so wonderful to calm my anxiety, accommodate us by doing the intake appointment there instead of the other location. Dr. Oakes was so thorough, thoughtful and caring, and then sent us on our way out to Springboro. letting Stacey, the physical therapist, out there know that we would arrive a half hour later than our appointed time. Our appointment with Stacey was equally thorough and kind-hearted -- I am eager to go back for Riley to get more underwater treadmill sessions -- I've heard so many people say that this is such a beneficial therapy for their dogs. I was delighted with our experience at Bigger Road Vet clinic -- thank you, everyone!

My dog was misdiagnosed several times which ultimately led to her death. Once I could no longer spend about $800-$1000 a month on vet visits, my dog was pushed a side to die. I had her there twice 2 weeks prior to her death and both doctors didn't catch that she was getting PLE, instead they both blamed either her steroids or maybe her condition. She was having bloody diarrhea, starting to bloat, and having slight issues with back leg weakness. I even called and asked about the early symptoms and was told that as long as her stomach wasn't tight (she was bloated), then there wasn't much to worry about. Also, the vets gave me hope that my dog was fine and there wasn't any major changes that they were seeing even though I might have been seeing them at home. Then a day before her death she was weak, in pain, bloated, anemic and the vet said she was in bad shape and may not make it. He gave her a vitamin shot and sent her home. The next day she had to be put down. I don't know what is worse, my dog dying or how she was she treated those last few weeks of her life.

This used to be the vet I sent all my friends to and take my own pets but not anymore! A change in management or something and the whole place went down hill! They want your money, not the happiness of you or your pet! If you make an appointment for your pet you might get there and they won't do that but try to sell you on other more expensive options despite your wishes! Save yourself a lot of grief and find another vet!

My husband and I moved back to Ohio a couple years ago and he started taking our aging dog here. ��When he was sick or even just regular annual visits they were always great. I love the seperate dog and cat entrances. We recently had to have our dog put down, the vet (Timmons) and staff were wonderful, kind, and comforting. I cannot thank them enough for how sweet and caring they were.**Update...they sent the sweetest little sympathy arrangment, so wonderfully thoughtful!

We're new to the area and they fit our Cleo in at the last minute on a Friday afternoon when we were worried about her cough. The location is easy enough to find and it's very quaint inside. Staff goes out of their way to make your pet (and you) comfortable and unafraid. We didn't feel at all rushed. Dr. Allison Crocker was gentle and thorough, listened to us and reviewed our options, all the while respecting our budget and Cleo's advanced years. Dr. Allison even called Saturday with lab results and to see how Cleo was doing. Cleo's fine and she responded well to her new meds. Highly recommended.

Just took my dog and cat here for the first time today. This was hands down, the best vet trip my pets have had. Dr. Olp, the vet techs, and assistants, did so well with my kids. My dog, Toad, was given lots of treats and affection. My cat Maka, was able to roam around the room freely and seemed to be as comfortable as an indoor cat could be at the vet. The entire visit was stress free! We will continue to take our fur babies here.

Just severed my relationship with Bigger Road Vet...after paying almost $400 for a dog with a uti two weeks ago was told to bring in a sample so they could retest...once I got there I was told it would be $74 as they have to "send it out." No one "sent it out" the two weeks ago - odd that they could check it with a less than 5 minute test then but not now. Standard practice at my previous vets have all been that the 'all clear' check is included up front. I liked the vet, but not enough to be taken advantage of. Too bad they are willing to sacrifice a client over this :(

Hands down, one of the best vet experiences I've ever had. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable from the receptionist to the techs to the vet. They gave my cat breaks when he was getting too riled up and his stress was definitely kept to a minimum while still getting all the tests and vaccines he needed done. Dr. Oakes was AMAZING and obviously knows her stuff. She did a very thorough assessment and was able to get my little guy what he needed while also being concious of my budget. I'll definitely be making this my regular clinic and recommending them to everyone!

The staff here is amazing with all of us, our dogs and my husband and I. They are kind, informative, patient and caring. Dr. Olp is so incredibly responsive and reassuring. She gets down on the animals level and really interacts with each of them according to thier personalities. Dr. Oakes has been so helpful in the past as well. Honestly all of their doctors are wonderful. I can't say enough amazing things about this clinic.

I took Mr. Griswald here to get established with a vet in my new town. Upon the recommendation of a neighbor I checked out Bigger Rd.(Note: if you're referred here, you can get some immunizations for free)The appointment was easily obtained and I was happy that upon arrival they had separate cat and dog entrances. The waiting room was clean and they even had a special perch for you to set your critter on while you waited.I was greeted promptly and shown to an exam room where Mr. cat was able to roam freely while we waited. The vet tech was great and Griswald was appropriately pampered. Dr. Olp, our vet that day, was very animal-focused and Griswald loved the attention. The exam was thorough and timely. They have a great online option too which allows you to make appointments and also order your pet's prescription food.I was very happy to receive a card a few weeks later with the details from out appointment for my personal records.I'd highly recommend this Veterinarian office and especially Dr. Olp!

I have a 16 year old Manchester terrier. I have followed my previous vet thru 3 different clinics. This year I went for my dogs annual visit and was pushed off to a new vet. She stood from 3 feet away and said his teeth looked fine. I asked for my dogs records and after a little research ended up at Bigger Road Vet Clinic. Best move I could have made. My dog had two cracked upper molars. Dr. Crocker had the patience to find one of the cracked molars. He said when he was out they could get a closer look. Dr. Crocker called me personally with lab results and when my dog was having surgery. They sent me a text when they took him back to surgery. Bottom line is if you want a vet clinic with its practice in order from top to bottom Bigger Road is the place for you. They even have separate entrances for cats and dogs.

So, we have had dogs (and a cat for a while) for the past 25 years. Additionally, we've lived all over the world with the military. Bigger Road Vet Clinic is turning out to be one of the two best vets we've had in 25 years. First, our initial appointment was quite long but they went over all Maggie and River's information/medical history. Next, they lined up all the vaccines as they'd been about 3m off from each other. Third, Dr. Oakes gave us multiple options regarding food, flea/tick/worm prevention, etc. Most of the options were significantly cheaper than our current plan. Erica (VT) and Dr. Oakes were outstanding and took excellent care of our pups and we felt very comfortable with both of them.But wait, there's more! They have an online pharmacy which turns out to be cheaper for many things than 800PetMeds. And today? We find they've set us up on petly.com and we have access to our pets' medical records!! Amazing. We are very happy with them so far!

Also, the vets gave me hope that my dog was fine and there wasn't any major changes that they were seeing even though I might have been seeing them at home. Then a day before her death she was weak, in pain, bloated, anemic and the vet said she was in bad shape and may not make it. He gave her a vitamin shot and sent her home. The next day she had to be put down. I don't know what is worse, my dog dying or how she was she treated those last few weeks of her life.

They want your money, not the happiness of you or your pet! If you make an appointment for your pet you might get there and they won't do that but try to sell you on other more expensive options despite your wishes! Save yourself a lot of grief and find another vet!

My husband and I moved back to Ohio a couple years ago and he started taking our aging dog here. When he was sick or even just regular annual visits they were always great. I love the seperate dog and cat entrances. We recently had to have our dog put down, the vet (Timmons) and staff were wonderful, kind, and comforting. I cannot thank them enough for how sweet and caring they were.**Update...they sent the sweetest little sympathy arrangment, so wonderfully thoughtful!

We're new to the area and they fit our Cleo in at the last minute on a Friday afternoon when we were worried about her cough. The location is easy enough to find and it's very quaint inside. Staff goes out of their way to make your pet (and you) comfortable and unafraid. We didn't feel at all rushed. Dr. Allison Crocker was gentle and thorough, listened to us and reviewed our options, all the while respecting our budget and Cleo's advanced years. Dr. Allison even called Saturday with lab results and to see how Cleo was doing. Cleo's fine and she responded well to her new meds. Highly recommended.

Just took my dog and cat here for the first time today. This was hands down, the best vet trip my pets have had. Dr. Olp, the vet techs, and assistants, did so well with my kids. My dog, Toad, was given lots of treats and affection. My cat Maka, was able to roam around the room freely and seemed to be as comfortable as an indoor cat could be at the vet. The entire visit was stress free! We will continue to take our fur babies here.

Just severed my relationship with Bigger Road Vet...after paying almost $400 for a dog with a uti two weeks ago was told to bring in a sample so they could retest...once I got there I was told it would be $74 as they have to "send it out." No one "sent it out" the two weeks ago - odd that they could check it with a less than 5 minute test then but not now. Standard practice at my previous vets have all been that the 'all clear' check is included up front. I liked the vet, but not enough to be taken advantage of. Too bad they are willing to sacrifice a client over this :(

Hands down, one of the best vet experiences I've ever had. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable from the receptionist to the techs to the vet. They gave my cat breaks when he was getting too riled up and his stress was definitely kept to a minimum while still getting all the tests and vaccines he needed done. Dr. Oakes was AMAZING and obviously knows her stuff. She did a very thorough assessment and was able to get my little guy what he needed while also being concious of my budget. I'll definitely be making this my regular clinic and recommending them to everyone!

The staff here is amazing with all of us, our dogs and my husband and I. They are kind, informative, patient and caring. Dr. Olp is so incredibly responsive and reassuring. She gets down on the animals level and really interacts with each of them according to thier personalities. Dr. Oakes has been so helpful in the past as well. Honestly all of their doctors are wonderful. I can't say enough amazing things about this clinic.

I took Mr. Griswald here to get established with a vet in my new town. Upon the recommendation of a neighbor I checked out Bigger Rd.(Note: if you're referred here, you can get some immunizations for free)The appointment was easily obtained and I was happy that upon arrival they had separate cat and dog entrances. The waiting room was clean and they even had a special perch for you to set your critter on while you waited.I was greeted promptly and shown to an exam room where Mr. cat was able to roam freely while we waited. The vet tech was great and Griswald was appropriately pampered. Dr. Olp, our vet that day, was very animal-focused and Griswald loved the attention. The exam was thorough and timely. They have a great online option too which allows you to make appointments and also order your pet's prescription food.I was very happy to receive a card a few weeks later with the details from out appointment for my personal records.I'd highly recommend this Veterinarian office and especially Dr. Olp!

I have a 16 year old Manchester terrier. I have followed my previous vet thru 3 different clinics. This year I went for my dogs annual visit and was pushed off to a new vet. She stood from 3 feet away and said his teeth looked fine. I asked for my dogs records and after a little research ended up at Bigger Road Vet Clinic. Best move I could have made. My dog had two cracked upper molars. Dr. Crocker had the patience to find one of the cracked molars. He said when he was out they could get a closer look. Dr. Crocker called me personally with lab results and when my dog was having surgery. They sent me a text when they took him back to surgery. Bottom line is if you want a vet clinic with its practice in order from top to bottom Bigger Road is the place for you. They even have separate entrances for cats and dogs.

So, we have had dogs (and a cat for a while) for the past 25 years. Additionally, we've lived all over the world with the military. Bigger Road Vet Clinic is turning out to be one of the two best vets we've had in 25 years. First, our initial appointment was quite long but they went over all Maggie and River's information/medical history. Next, they lined up all the vaccines as they'd been about 3m off from each other. Third, Dr. Oakes gave us multiple options regarding food, flea/tick/worm prevention, etc. Most of the options were significantly cheaper than our current plan. Erica (VT) and Dr. Oakes were outstanding and took excellent care of our pups and we felt very comfortable with both of them.But wait, there's more! They have an online pharmacy which turns out to be cheaper for many things than 800PetMeds. And today? We find they've set us up on petly.com and we have access to our pets' medical records!! Amazing. We are very happy with them so far!
