We've been going to this vet since our dog was a puppy (4 years). In the past, we were seen by Dr. Gary Dickerson, but he has since move on to another practice. The front desk staff and the vet techs are always friendly and welcoming, but the vet herself seems a bit rude.
Dr. Schumacher walked into the exam room and simply started giving treatment plans. There was no "Hi", "How are you?" or any acknowledgment for my fiancé and I. Not to mention, my dog wasn't even in the exam room at the time. As soon as we got into the exam room, the vet tech took her to "take her temp", but a temperature reading doesn't take 15 minutes. Not to mention, since when do examinations take place in the back? There was no sharing of information or update about what was going on with our dog. For future references, pet parents should be made aware of what is going on with their pets. Don't just take the pets to the back and leave the owners in the examination room clueless.
This will be our last visit at this place. Go elsewhere if you want to feel valued as a customer or kept in the loop about your pet's treatment and care.
At the end of the day, communication goes a long way. :)
Ps. This wasn't our first time interacting with her either. The first time I wrote it off as her having a bad day, but that seems to be her personality. Read Less
