I have a lil dashound named jd ! Hes been going there since he was 2 and the dr. And staff there are phenomal !! Back when jd was 9 he got pretty bad and wouldnt eat and couldnt control himself going bathroom so to speak and dr.gary figured out a plan to bring him out of it and back to hood health ! And dr.mayle has help us out.here a.few times and just recently did kidney stone surgury and a cancerous toe had to be removed on his right rear paw and sum much needed dental and he took a lil while but now hes rollin in the grass and kinds plays like a puppy again ! I have been taking my puppy here since I got her. They are reasonably priced compared to other vets. It's hard to find a vet that is honest and does not nickel and dime you. $55 out the door for multiple vaccines and anti- flea medication is outstanding. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The vets answer questions and make are personable. Scheduling is fairly easy, and I like that they are open on Saturdays. However, I don't recommend going on Saturdays as you will wait much longer before getting seen. We will continue coming here! Read Less

Just okay if your pet never gets sick. Need shots? you are better off getting them at Pet smart......If you have an emergency - even during business hours - you need an appointment and then they made us wait until the next day. My dog could have died and they did not give a crap, no appointment?....no dice. When our dog that passed away first got sick in the Winter of 2016 we had to make an appointment for 3 days later.....and when they found bone cancer? There was no bedside manner, the vet came in and his word were, "Welp its bone cancer" No discussion of what options were, treatments, pain management, Luckily, I had a friend who helped us through it because this joker did not care. This place is a complete joke to take care of euthanasia too. My advice? Go somewhere where they ACTUALLY CARE about your pet and not just your cash. We always pay our bill up front. Money is not my issue its not caring about other people or their pets And to the man who made the snide comment about not being able to afford a dog then do not get one..... I hope for your sake your life circumstances never change and if they do, that other people are not as judgemental as you appear to be. Because what I'm getting from you is that if a person gets laid off or gets sick, you should get rid of the pet? Where is the kindness there? A wonderful veterinary option in this area is Stark Animal Hospital, they wanted to be updated for several days after the sickness. Read Less

I have taken both of my animals here since they were a kitten and a puppy and I have been very pleased with them. All of the staff are very friendly and answer all of my questions. Both vets that I have met are very thorough. My dog ate a bottle of children's Tylenol and I called them right away and they were very helpful with guiding me on what to do and they gave me the information I needed to take her to the emergency vet.Read Less

PLEASE DONT TAKE YOUR ANIMALS HERE! Our cat had injured his tail. We were so worried about him because he was in so much pain. Not acting like himself and not coming around. He would hiss any time he grazed anything with his behind. We called the vet and asked them to please take care of his tail. We hated seeing him like this. They would not. They kept telling us to wait until the appointment we had scheduled which was to get his shots, declawed and snipped. We had to watch him deal with this pain for over 2 weeks. By the time the appointment came around he was barely even walking because he was babying the back right leg. Finally he had all these surgeries done. Including the removal of the tail. We took him home and we have had him out of surgery for about a month now. After the surgery we were asked to pay all of the bill in full. We are a couple just starting out on our own and Im about to have a baby so of course we couldnt make a full payment. When we told them that they gave us attitude and told us we should have said that before the surgeries because then they wouldnt have done all those surgeries. Which we didnt want. We wanted them to take care of his tail way before all of this. So we payed half. He came home and ended up getting an upper respiratory infection and did not want to walk at all this whole month after the surgery. Struggled getting in and out of the litter box and leaking blood/puss out of his behind. Also still having the stitches in from getting his tail removed. They did all this on November 11th. They wouldnt take the stitches out until December 6th because they werent getting paid. They also wouldnt do anything about the leaking of the puss. My fiances parents seen and heard what was going on. They were so concerned they took him to a different vet. That was yesterday Monday Dec 1st. The vet couldnt believe that the vet had let our cat go like this because they didnt get paid. He almost died because he had such a high fever they said and this Louisville vet didnt even check his temp on November 24th. because they werent getting their money. Also this new vet said he was dehydrated and needed to stay overnight hooked up to IVs, He also told us that our cat had an infection that needed to be pushed out which they also did right away. They couldnt believe that they allowed our pet to suffer weeks like this without taking care of him because of wanting all the money up front. He could have died because of it. Today is Dec 2nd. HIs stitches are out. They have all the puss removed and he is still babying the back leg because the infection went into his legs. They are keeping him overnight and hopefully releasing him in the morning. They said it looks "promising". So please dont take your animals to this vet. All they care about is getting your money and not about the health of your animal who is like a family member. What a horrible experience. Read Less
