Pets On The Go

Marysville, Ohio
General Info
Pets On The Go in Marysville is a veterinary practice committed to delivering comprehensive and empathetic care to the community’s pets. Located in Marysville, United States, the Clinic is known for its professional and reliable attitude to animal health and a supportive atmosphere for owners. The experienced team provides personalized wellness plans, routine check-ups, and an array of other services to ensure optimal health of every pet. Services often include laser therapy, behavioral counseling, equine care, deworming, dental care, nutritional counseling, and microchipping. These therapies are closely monitored to ensure the quality of preventive and emergency treatment. The hospital is adequately equipped to obtain accurate results, and it is efficient enough to minimize the stress on the animals during a visit. Pet owners often note the staff’s kindness and ability to communicate, which fosters trust and establishes lasting relationships. Pets On The Go continues to be a major pillar within the Marysville pet-owning community. Whether helping young pets start their lives in good health or aiding older ones to manage chronic conditions, the experts are always ready to assist. Their dedication to animal welfare is also evident in their continuous pursuit of knowledge and growth as professionals. This ensures that every pet receives the highest quality care. The practice actively promotes responsible pet ownership and community engagement, making it an important resource for pet families. Pets On the Go has its headquarters in Marysville, but it provides animal wellness services throughout Ohio. The company is inclined toward animals’ long-term well-being through preventive measures. The clinic handles routine wellness exams, vaccinations, and new patient visits while identifying the potential causes of illness in pets exhibiting subtle signs of disease. Veterinarians look at an animal’s lifestyle and the environment it lives in, as well as its health history, to determine what factors may be pertinent. This helps healthcare providers determine whether treatment should be started or watchful waiting is the best course of action. In addition to standard check-ups and symptom evaluations, the practice offers dental care, laboratory testing, and expert advice for chronic ailments like arthritis and digestive issues. Pet owners also routinely schedule appointments for spay and neuter surgeries, behavioral consultations, and medication reviews. The clinic also utilizes direct patient care through constant communication on what needs to be done next, possible side effects, and the required follow-ups. Ohio residents can book the appointments, and so can many clients from the rural and suburban areas around Marysville. Animal healthcare documentation is precise because visits to veterinary clinics, whether monthly or annually, are essential for medical history upkeep. Because of the ongoing nature of the treatment, this method is extremely effective for ailments that develop over time or only emerge during certain seasons. Pets On the Go alters treatment methods throughout the year based on weather patterns and other local factors related to activity and environment exposure. Pet owners in Marysville receive guidance in their everyday lives, which focuses on accompanying them on a daily basis and meeting the expectations they have through their pets. The clinic's understanding of patient history, familial goals, and stage appropriateness informs every care choice.

I wanted to like this place. The staff and Dr were so nice but she misdiagnosed one of my cats. He almost died! She took his temp and said it has high but not bad. She also did a feline leukemia test and said it was negative. When we took him to the vet hospital they said his temp was 104 and he was dying. They also did a feline leukemia test and it came back positive! They said they don’t know why any vet would send him home with how bad he looked. So sad over this, we really liked her and the place but we have to put our fur babies first. We will not be returning here. Read Less

Dr. Julie and her staff are beyond amazing. We have taken all of our pets (cats and dogs) to her and they have all received the best care. Most recently, Julie has gone out of her way to create the best plan of care for our newest dog with chronic bowel issues and we could not be happier with her services and her office. Not only misdiagnosed 2 of my families pets that ended up with way worse conditions resulting deaths, but she has no sympathy! The vet gets defensive quickly and offers no sympathy for the pets! I have also heard horror stories of her EUTHANIZING pets incorrectly! One story I heard, NO pet EVER that is already in pain that is being put down should NEVER EVER go through what that poor pet went through. I have seen pets be put down working for a vets office and never seen one have a reaction the way the one she put down! Unless you want your pets suffering for way too long with a misdiagnosis and want to have your pet put to sleep in a way that no pet should ever have to go through and suffer even more being put to sleep, then she's the one to go too! She needs to be out of business, when I heard the horror story about one pet being put to sleep, I almost cried but I was to pissed off because that should've never ever happened to that poor pet 😔 She doesn't care, cheaper is not always better! Go to woodside and pay extra, they are 100% better, trust me! Read Less

I never leave bad reviews every but I feel this is necessary because of 2 different diagnoses from Julie for the same issue my beloved St. Bernard Bella has to be put down. I dont want other families who come to you for their sick animal to get a miss diagnoses and be left heart broken like me and my family are. I wouldnt even give 1 star but I have to give something. Julie (its really hard for me to call her Dr. Julie now) never told me to take my Bella somewhere else for xrays...my sister in law who use to work at a vets office told me I should get x rays done on Bella. Julie told me in June/July when I brought my Bella to her for a limp that Bella had arthritis. I took Bella back to see Julie in November for the same symptoms only this time she had swelling around her leg joint. Julie told me she thought she might have injurred herself even though i knew she didnt. Julie gave her a shot to help with inflammation and gave her prednisone again and a vitamin supplement to help with bone joints. Julie told me if she wasn't any better in a month to bring her back to see her because you would most likely refer her to see an orthopedic. A few days after the visit Bella was swelling worse. I took my Bella to Woodside and as soon as the vet exammaned her he told me he is almost positive she has a bone tumor. They did x rays and sure enough he was right. I'm sorry I don't typically do these kinds of reviews but I feel it's necessary to let others know. Julie is good when it comes to giving vaccinations but absolutely SUCKS at diagnosing what is wrong with animals. If she would have suggested months ago when I brought my Bella to her that she needed an xray, my poor Bella could have stood a chance as it was in early stages of cancer but know she don't. I was trying to give Julie the benefit of the doubt because she had misdiagnosed my daughter in laws kitty and she had to be put down. Since she was good with my Macy I trusted her with my Bella....now because I didn't listen to other people and was giving her the benefit of the doubt I have to have my Bella put down Friday. I'm sorry but I will NEVER give Julie the benefit of the doubt EVER AGAIN. My home will NEVER be the same without our Bella. She has been an awesome loving loyal companion and now not only me and my family will be heartbroken for a long time but everyone who loved our Bella will be too. Not to mention she is my husband's best friend and all this could have been prevent had she told me in June/July to take her somewhere for x rays but she didn't and I trusted her...NEVER AGAIN!!!!! Dr. Julie is the best vet I have ever had in 30 years of pet ownership. I was referred to her when my dog Mister could no longer get in the car. She makes house calls which is really rare. It is so important because many older dogs & older pet owners can no longer travel. Dr Julie eventually had to put Mister to sleep. It was 8:30 PM but she still came out because it was an emergency. It was the most difficult thing I've ever had to do. Dr Julie also called a funeral home for me. I called her several times over the following weeks to reassure myself I had done the right thing. She let me talk as long as I needed to & helped me so much as I grieved for my beloved Mister. It may take some time & a couple of calls at times to get ahold of her but it's because she makes many house calls & is on the road. But once you are a patient she will always be there. In fact my new dog Buck was violently sick all night. Dr Julie has called me several times toddy even though they are closed on Fridays ( open on Saturdays). Buck & I love Dr Julie!! Read Less
