Horrible! Rude short receptionist. Waited forever even though I had an appointment two times. First time took over an hour for a shot. Second time was left in the waiting room for 30 minutes to get a rabies shot. Their grass says stay off grass except by the road, kinda stupid if you want animals to use the bathroom before coming in. My dog was too distracted to potty by the road with all the street noise. Will NOT go back, only went because I have a rescue thst came with her shots covered if I went there. Ended up going to my own vet and paying out of pocket instead. I was squeezed in with 5 minutes notice and was able to get the shot, check in and pay in 6 total minutes at Animal Hospital of West Chester. I suggest going 5 minutes down the road and visiting this much cleaner, much more caring vet who respects your time and your pet's comfort. What puppy can sit in a waiting room on a leash for 30 minutes?? Not mine and not me either!! Won't step foot inside this establishment again....not even if someone pays me! Cheap for a reason...you get what you pay for! Read Less

Friendliest vets & vet techs I've met. It's important to me that a vet clinic not only is good at pet medicine, but that they also treat them as if they are their own family too. CAH excels at both.

I would encourage you to find someone else. I fully blame them for the death of my dog and the terrible way they handled it. I drove from Denver, CO to Cincinnati, OH because I had taken her to them her entire life. She had been diagnosed with bone cancer and was scheduled to have her leg removed to stop the spread. I arrived to have the surgery started and all seemed to go well. Delayed but surgery went well enough. After the surgery she was not waking up and I was told that she had to be transferred to another vet location for over night observation. Now, I had already been quoted $2000+ for the surgery and aftercare and this other facility was adding another $500 to the surgery. I paid for the overnight observation and arrived to see her the next morning as soon as they opened. My pup seemed to be in good spirits and everything went well enough. I found out my pup had 2-6 months left to live by over hearing the most unprofessional conversation I have ever heard between two doctors in the back. They didn’t even bother to close the door between the room and the back. When I asked if they were talking about my dog I was told “we’ll talk to you about it in a minute.” When I was initially told the diagnosis I was told she had 2-6 months left to live. So I have now paid $2500 for her leg to be removed and given her the same act same odds of survival. She made it 4 months and then we had to put her down. I hold County Animal Hospital 100% responsible for the death of my dog and the emotional distress that I went through. I have since told all of my friends and family to avoid this business at all costs and would recommend the same to all of you. Dr. Kaptan is unbelievably unprofessional. If I could give 0 stars I would. Read Less

Doctor that owns the practice pulled my dog atleast a foot, to him by pulling her leash that was attached to her collar, because she didn't want to go to him. She is a stubborn older dog. How dare you handle an animal like that! I'm surprised it didn't hurt her neck. Ever heard of trying treats!? I was astonished. They never went there again. Paid for nails to be trimmed. They took my dogs back and it didn't looked trimmed when they brought them back. I told them one of my dogs had anxiety and seizures. It's in his paperwork too. He's epileptic so stress can increase the chance of him having one. After appointment when waiting there were several loud banging noises. Sounded like someone banging on a wall. Then the Indian doctor, A DOCTOR at the hospital came out and was talking extremely loud, he was happy but it was still so loud it not only scared my dogs but me too. The hospital also put the paperwork from our last vet in the wrong order so they couldn't figure out when the last vet gave them shots. How could you not figure that out? The papers are numbered. And the dates are in order. The secretary didn't realize this until a few months later and I called to have their information transferred. Incredibly unprofessional. I went to them because they have an animal hospital accreditation that means they passed an inspection. I will be reporting this. Apparently they have no idea what goes on when they aren't there.
