Mason animal hospital saved my dogs life! I was not a regular patient of this hospital, had never been there before. I rushed my dog in one morning with severe symptoms, not only did the staff not turn me away as a new patient, at no point did anybody look down on me, behave condescendingly, every single member of the staff that I met and dealt with was fantastic! Especially Monica and Dr. Kelly. They took excellent care of my dog, were kind and helpful and easy to deal with, they performed a life-saving surgery on my dog with excellent skill and great after care, this is a vet I would recommend to anybody! They made me feel more at ease than any other vet I have ever been to. Thank you Mason animal hospital! From me and my sweet Ursa

Last summer I relocated to this area and brought one of my 3 cats to this vet. At the time I gave them the names and all vet records I had for all 3 and told them they weren't due for shots until the spring. This week I called to set up an appointment (that would cost around $350 for the shots). The woman told me that she would have to have someone call me back - they called me and left a message with pricing. They had my records for one of the cats but "must have thrown away" the records for the other two. The woman on the phone told me that since I haven't been in they assumed they died. WOW...now I have NO records for my 13 year old cat and NO records for my 4 year old. All of the years and three vets before this I have managed to have every single vet record and this office threw everything away. Guess I will have to go across the street to the other vet...they offered to get us in this week for the shots. Terrible experience. When it comes to people and their pets you really need to be a little more sensitive.

I put two stars just because they are very nice people but I recently switched vets bc my dog had been throwing up blood about once a month for 5 months now and have had some blood in the stool . Was told it's a food allergy let's change the food , okay great but that's not the only thing ! I'm sorry throwing up blood is not okay once a month !! I brought her stool samples up there numerous times .. mucus and had blood . Every time "there's nothing ma'am , no worms " OKAY about the worms what about something else !? So I switched docs this month after she vomited this month .. he tested her stool went the extra mile , I guess there's another more elaborate way to look at a stool sample , guess they didn't want to do but of course he found that her stool was COVERED and she has a bacterial infection called C diff (Clostridium difficile.) AHHHH I'm so frustrated on how they "missed" this each time and kept charging me vet visits to say your dog is "okay" ! They are nice but I'd recommend another vet !

I just received my card in the mail today and from the bottom of our hearts, thank you to the staff at Mason Animal Hospital. Dr. Kelly, special thanks to you for getting us in so quickly & spending hours with us on the initial consultation as well as the after hours phone update on Suichi. While I wish you all had the opportunity to know Suichi's spirit more, I find comfort that he was under your watch with people that genuinely cared in his final hours, walking in to see my jacket under his head only reassures my feelings. Thank you for the gifts of his paw print to last us a lifetime.

I have been going to them for over 14 years and the care and love they have for animals by far is amazing. They have treated our pets like family and we have gotten to know the staff through the years. We recently had to make a decision that we did not see coming to put our baby girl AnnaBelle to sleep. We were at the urgent Care center for more test and we said no one else could do it as we wanted her surrounded by people who cared for her. Without a doubt I would highly recommend them to anyone. We had to have our baby girl Dalilah put to sleep last week. This was such a hard decision, but the staff at Mason Animal Hospital made this day a little more bearable. They were so caring and gave us the time that we needed to say our goodbyes and be there at the end of her life. They made Dalilah's paw print for us and even gave us fur clippings at no charge. I'll never forget the time, a few years ago, that I went to a Lebanon, OH vet and they charged me $1,000 and still couldn't figure out what was wrong with my very sick dog. Then they wanted to take blood AGAIN, upping the money. I was hysterical when I got to Mason Animal Hospital, hoping they could help for less.MASON ANIMAL HOSPITAL DIAGNOSED MY DOG AND SAVED HER LIFE FOR A FRACTION OF THAT COST. I'll always be grateful to this business. There is no better vet clinic out there. Best prices. Best vets.I've seen them bend over backwards for their patients. They are 30 minutes away from my house but I won't go anywhere else. The drive is worth it.

This week I made the heartbreaking decision to let my dog of 15 years go to sleep in peace. Due to some unforeseen circumstances this was the first time that the staff of Mason Animal Hospital had ever met me, and they could not have been any better during an extremely emotional and difficult time. They treated Tucker and myself as though we had been lifelong clients. Once Tucker passed Dr. Wolf sat with me, holding my dog and talked with me about his life. Today I received a sympathy card, hand written by him in the mail. If you are looking for a practice that will be there for you when you need them, look no further.

When our first dog passed away, the staff went above and beyond to help comfort us. It truly goes to show they care about their patients, and the owners. This is one of the best vets in Cincinnati. Knowledgeable, understanding and great customer service. Carla at the front desk always takes care of me, even when my pets aren't a patient anymore! My vet in Hyde Park was out of the medication I needed, so I called Mason on a long shot. They had what I needed and were willing to put the powder into capsules for me to get me through until I could get it shipped from a compounding pharmacy. The Mason Animal Hospital rocks!

There's not much I can say about MAH from a historical perspective. I've only had to take my kitty there twice so far. But, what I can say about it is that I completely trust them and know that they love their patients and are passionate about what they do. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I had to have my stray cat go through the whole gambit...testing, neutered, declawed and an additional checkup. I knew it was going to add up but everything was actually a little more reasonably priced that I anticipated.Unfortunately I can't say much else given my infrequent visits but if your furry friend is feeling under the weather Mason Animal Hospital is as fine a place as you can go. The staff is wonderful, the facilities are clean and their operating hours are pretty flexible with most everyone's schedules.

I put two stars just because they are very nice people but I recently switched vets bc my dog had been throwing up blood about once a month for 5 months now and have had some blood in the stool . Was told it's a food allergy let's change the food , okay great but that's not the only thing ! I'm sorry throwing up blood is not okay once a month !! I brought her stool samples up there numerous times .. mucus and had blood . Every time "there's nothing ma'am , no worms " OKAY about the worms what about something else !? So I switched docs this month after she vomited this month .. he tested her stool went the extra mile , I guess there's another more elaborate way to look at a stool sample , guess they didn't want to do but of course he found that her stool was COVERED and she has a bacterial infection called C diff (Clostridium difficile.) AHHHH I'm so frustrated on how they "missed" this each time and kept charging me vet visits to say your dog is "okay" ! They are nice but I'd recommend another vet !

I just received my card in the mail today and from the bottom of our hearts, thank you to the staff at Mason Animal Hospital. Dr. Kelly, special thanks to you for getting us in so quickly & spending hours with us on the initial consultation as well as the after hours phone update on Suichi. While I wish you all had the opportunity to know Suichi's spirit more, I find comfort that he was under your watch with people that genuinely cared in his final hours, walking in to see my jacket under his head only reassures my feelings. Thank you for the gifts of his paw print to last us a lifetime.

I have been going to them for over 14 years and the care and love they have for animals by far is amazing. They have treated our pets like family and we have gotten to know the staff through the years. We recently had to make a decision that we did not see coming to put our baby girl AnnaBelle to sleep. We were at the urgent Care center for more test and we said no one else could do it as we wanted her surrounded by people who cared for her. Without a doubt I would highly recommend them to anyone. They are amazing people who do amazing things. Thank you for all that you have done.

We had to have our baby girl Dalilah put to sleep last week. This was such a hard decision, but the staff at Mason Animal Hospital made this day a little more bearable. They were so caring and gave us the time that we needed to say our goodbyes and be there at the end of her life. They made Dalilah's paw print for us and even gave us fur clippings at no charge. Thank you so much for loving our girl even though you just met her on that day.

I'll never forget the time, a few years ago, that I went to a Lebanon, OH vet and they charged me $1,000 and still couldn't figure out what was wrong with my very sick dog. Then they wanted to take blood AGAIN, upping the money. I was hysterical when I got to Mason Animal Hospital, hoping they could help for less.MASON ANIMAL HOSPITAL DIAGNOSED MY DOG AND SAVED HER LIFE FOR A FRACTION OF THAT COST. I'll always be grateful to this business. There is no better vet clinic out there. Best prices. Best vets.I've seen them bend over backwards for their patients. This week I made the heartbreaking decision to let my dog of 15 years go to sleep in peace. Due to some unforeseen circumstances this was the first time that the staff of Mason Animal Hospital had ever met me, and they could not have been any better during an extremely emotional and difficult time. They treated Tucker and myself as though we had been lifelong clients. Once Tucker passed Dr. Wolf sat with me, holding my dog and talked with me about his life. Today I received a sympathy card, hand written by him in the mail. If you are looking for a practice that will be there for you when you need them, look no further.

We have gone here for 10 years. And have taken all of our dogs there for care. We have always received respect, attention, and prompt service and care. When our first dog passed away, the staff went above and beyond to help comfort us. It truly goes to show they care about their patients, and the owners. The staff has also been around awhile- so we see familiar faces at every visit, and they know us and our dogs.

My vet in Hyde Park was out of the medication I needed, so I called Mason on a long shot. They had what I needed and were willing to put the powder into capsules for me to get me through until I could get it shipped from a compounding pharmacy. The Mason Animal Hospital rocks!

There's not much I can say about MAH from a historical perspective. I've only had to take my kitty there twice so far. But, what I can say about it is that I completely trust them and know that they love their patients and are passionate about what they do. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I had to have my stray cat go through the whole gambit...testing, neutered, declawed and an additional checkup. I knew it was going to add up but everything was actually a little more reasonably priced that I anticipated.Unfortunately I can't say much else given my infrequent visits but if your furry friend is feeling under the weather Mason Animal Hospital is as fine a place as you can go. The staff is wonderful, the facilities are clean and their operating hours are pretty flexible with most everyone's schedules.
