We recently started going to total pet care. Our original vet Dr Erin Rowe now works here and we love her. On our first visit our Newfoundland Gwen seen Dr Jorge. She fell in love with him first sight. We were very impressed with how he treated Gwen and made her very relaxed. Dr Jorge did Gwen's surgery and she did great with no problems. On Gwen's follow up we seen Dr Rowe and we cant say enough about how great she is. She has been my vet for many years and I love how she treats our dogs. She has been with us through having to put two of our babies down and not only seem to feel the heart break that we were going through but comforted us through the loss we were going through. Total Pet care is our new vet office for all of our fur babies.
Oh and the staff was fabulous also. Very good with Gwen on all her visits. Our other two dogs will be coming here from now on also. Keep up the great work Total Pet Care.

Total Pet Care is a terrible place for vet services. They are severely ripping people off. They print you out an estimate and go over it with you but it's meaningless. The bill is ALWAYS much higher than the estimate. Anytime our dogs were seen there, they automatically charged an office visit the of $50 on top of whatever the visit was for, such as vaccines. I used them for a year and never got out of there for less than $145.00 per visit. The cost is insane. I now take my dogs to Brennan in Maumee and the cost of the visit is included in the cost of the vaccines. The bills are a fraction of the cost of Total Pet Care. I'm never going back for vet services.

Spend thousands of dollars for preventative care over the years and they weren't there when their patient (our fur baby) really needed them. She almost died but was too busy to see her so we called a different vet who squeezed her in. TPC said that she should be seen right away but were too busy to see her. They didn't make her sick but they did not help either. My baby and money is going elsewhere, very upset. One star is too many for this place. We should have been able to count on them but complete strangers took in our sick baby and made her on her way to getting better (I hope) Done venting.

I ask to have Dr. Pisle when setting appointments up for my three pets. I saw someone complained about seeing different vets. I recommend to ask for the same one and they will set it up that way if you don't want first available. She's attentive and always makes sure to answer all of my questions and offers advice. My one dog had some recent weight gain and she was very helpful on recommending a plan of action to get him healthy again. It's working. The staff is always happy to see us when we walk in. They make sure to greet us by name and if there are other upset animals in the waiting room will make sure to separate them once checked in. I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes to be put in our room to get started. I've been a client for a few years now and have had a some different procedures done including saying goodbye to a couple loved ones. The staff works hard at making sure everyone is comfortable including you.

We had a different vet every time we went. My cat was having serious bowel problems and they did tests but came back with nothing. They gave us the same medicine twice saying it didn't work the first time because they didn't give the right dosage, and it was super costly, and didn't work the second time either. Overall a waste of money and time to me. (We took the cat to another veterinarian and they found the issue and fixed it for us.)
The only good part about my experience there was the friendly staff and short waiting time.

The people are nice but it's expensive. We boarded our pets and they had a check up during their stay. The agreement was that if they needed any treatment or services we would get a call. When we picked our pets up, we found that one of our dogs needed something extra done but we were never contacted and so the service was not performed. They wanted us to schedule, and pay for, another visit to treat her. We probably won't go back.

My dog Lexi is a white American Bulldog that has a long history of bad skin allergies. I've been to several vets before Dr.Jorge Rosario was recommended, and I wish we would have found him sooner. He takes the time to sit down and examine her, and she just loves seeing him (she doesn't like any vets). We've seen several vets that were unsuccessful at treating her condition, but Dr.Jorge has helped us find the right diet plan/and routine that has allowed Lexi to have her skin back to normal. He is truly the best!!! I would totally recommend him to all dog lovers because he is diligent and he knows dogs! He only works Fridays, but I wait for his appointments because Lexi didn't care too much for any other of the vets there, and I feel Dr.Jorge is calm and patient with her(even though Lexi is heavy 120+ pounds). We are typically in and out, and the vet techs/front desk girls are nice and seem to love their job, but Dr.Jorge is what keeps me coming back!!!

LOST MY PATRONAGE! (Former customer of approximately EIGHT years) They are REQUIRING the canine influenza shot unless they are convinced by a veterinarian that the shot should not be administered. My two dogs -- who are in their twilight years and suffer from digestive ailments -- are NOT to receive the shot for a variety of solid, medical reasons explained to me by two well-respected veterinarians. I will not beg and plead my cases with TPC after being told by one employee that the shots are MANDATORY€ and later by a manager that my cases will be considered by their medical staff. No! I am gladly headed elsewhere. Additionally, I never really cared for their high-volume environment and sluggish turnaround times. The price is good if you are patient, but the €MANDATORY€ canine influenza shot may actually be required -- while other groomers have not created such policies.

Brought in my sick pet and had her get even sicker with 3 days of their treatment, when I called and asked for another antibiotic they said that I had to pay for an emergency visit in order to get the antibiotic. I left a message for the general manager and never received a return phone call. They have no concern for peoples pets all they care about is making money.

I have boarded my bulldog here before for a day with no problems. Recently I boarded him for five days. Upon my return I find he has a UTI, redness in one eye and signs of a possible cold. The vet was nowhere to be found so I immediately took him to my vet. They said not only did he have a cold, but he had the worst case of conjunctivitis they have ever seen. Total pet care's vet called me back 3 hours after leaving, to tell me they thought it was simply redness due to excitement! If you value the wellbeing of your pet, I would not recommend leaving them in this facility.

Had the pup stay here during a family stay in Ohio. Making the appointment was simple, I was able to book our reservation online. They followed up with a confirmation email to let me know our reservation was booked along with instructions as to what would be needed on the day of drop off. Other than a copy of current immunizations there is some light paperwork to fill out. If your pet is in need of any immunizations for their stay they are willing to administer them for you. The staff here is super friendly. But then again, I love anyone who is not intimidated by my bully breed. They were very good with him. I can't see myself going anywhere else when visiting Toledo. I was very surprised as to how reasonable their boarding prices were, your pets stay will not break the bank!

I don't think you can find a more comprehensive and customer oriented pet care facility in NW Ohio. TPC has provided care for both my cat "Jackson" and dog "Zephyr". When they're in that clinic, they are treated like Royalty.The facility and medical care is state of the art. When traveling, I've told my friends that Zephyr is at The Ritz Carleton for Dogs. Every single time when I pick him up he's smiling, bathed, and lead to me by a staff person that loves animals.I went first to Total Pet Care because I've done lots of business with it's owners Dan and Connie Shook I go back because they've delivered beyond my expectations. When my yorkie was sick a few weeks ago I called and Total Pet Care was told to bring him right in. The staff took exceptional care of not only him but me as well. Because he is so little and what was wrong with him he had to stay 2 nights. Dr. Hoffman and her well trained staff of Registered Veterinary Technicians took care of him as though he was one of their own pets. When I picked him up I was confident that he received the best care available in the area. Thank you Total Pet Care for helping my little guy.

Total pet care is a wonderful family run business. Our family had an incident in which our dog was severely injured, the owner personally came out to our home and helped save our animal. The vets were all very attentive and personable. I cannot say enough about the staff. Our dog had to stay for several weeks and the staff went out of their way to accomodate her. They also worked with our family on the vet bills which were quite high (our dog had 3 surgeries)

We recently started going to total pet care. Our original vet Dr Erin Rowe now works here and we love her. On our first visit our Newfoundland Gwen seen Dr Jorge. She fell in love with him first sight. We were very impressed with how he treated Gwen and made her very relaxed. Dr Jorge did Gwen's surgery and she did great with no problems. On Gwen's follow up we seen Dr Rowe and we cant say enough about how great she is. She has been my vet for many years and I love how she treats our dogs. She has been with us through having to put two of our babies down and not only seem to feel the heart break that we were going through but comforted us through the loss we were going through. Total Pet care is our new vet office for all of our fur babies.
Oh and the staff was fabulous also. Very good with Gwen on all her visits. Our other two dogs will be coming here from now on also. Keep up the great work Total Pet Care.

Total Pet Care is a terrible place for vet services. They are severely ripping people off. They print you out an estimate and go over it with you but it's meaningless. The bill is ALWAYS much higher than the estimate. Anytime our dogs were seen there, they automatically charged an office visit the of $50 on top of whatever the visit was for, such as vaccines. I used them for a year and never got out of there for less than $145.00 per visit. The cost is insane. I now take my dogs to Brennan in Maumee and the cost of the visit is included in the cost of the vaccines. The bills are a fraction of the cost of Total Pet Care. I'm never going back for vet services.

Spend thousands of dollars for preventative care over the years and they weren't there when their patient (our fur baby) really needed them. She almost died but was too busy to see her so we called a different vet who squeezed her in. TPC said that she should be seen right away but were too busy to see her. They didn't make her sick but they did not help either. My baby and money is going elsewhere, very upset. One star is too many for this place. We should have been able to count on them but complete strangers took in our sick baby and made her on her way to getting better (I hope) Done venting.

I ask to have Dr. Pisle when setting appointments up for my three pets. I saw someone complained about seeing different vets. I recommend to ask for the same one and they will set it up that way if you don't want first available. She's attentive and always makes sure to answer all of my questions and offers advice. My one dog had some recent weight gain and she was very helpful on recommending a plan of action to get him healthy again. It's working. The staff is always happy to see us when we walk in. They make sure to greet us by name and if there are other upset animals in the waiting room will make sure to separate them once checked in. I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes to be put in our room to get started. I've been a client for a few years now and have had a some different procedures done including saying goodbye to a couple loved ones. The staff works hard at making sure everyone is comfortable including you.

We had a different vet every time we went. My cat was having serious bowel problems and they did tests but came back with nothing. They gave us the same medicine twice saying it didn't work the first time because they didn't give the right dosage, and it was super costly, and didn't work the second time either. Overall a waste of money and time to me. (We took the cat to another veterinarian and they found the issue and fixed it for us.)
The only good part about my experience there was the friendly staff and short waiting time.

The people are nice but it's expensive. We boarded our pets and they had a check up during their stay. The agreement was that if they needed any treatment or services we would get a call. When we picked our pets up, we found that one of our dogs needed something extra done but we were never contacted and so the service was not performed. They wanted us to schedule, and pay for, another visit to treat her. We probably won't go back.

My dog Lexi is a white American Bulldog that has a long history of bad skin allergies. I've been to several vets before Dr.Jorge Rosario was recommended, and I wish we would have found him sooner. He takes the time to sit down and examine her, and she just loves seeing him (she doesn't like any vets). We've seen several vets that were unsuccessful at treating her condition, but Dr.Jorge has helped us find the right diet plan/and routine that has allowed Lexi to have her skin back to normal. He is truly the best!!! I would totally recommend him to all dog lovers because he is diligent and he knows dogs! He only works Fridays, but I wait for his appointments because Lexi didn't care too much for any other of the vets there, and I feel Dr.Jorge is calm and patient with her(even though Lexi is heavy 120+ pounds). We are typically in and out, and the vet techs/front desk girls are nice and seem to love their job, but Dr.Jorge is what keeps me coming back!!!

LOST MY PATRONAGE! (Former customer of approximately EIGHT years) They are REQUIRING the canine influenza shot unless they are convinced by a veterinarian that the shot should not be administered. My two dogs -- who are in their twilight years and suffer from digestive ailments -- are NOT to receive the shot for a variety of solid, medical reasons explained to me by two well-respected veterinarians. I will not beg and plead my cases with TPC after being told by one employee that the shots are MANDATORY€ and later by a manager that my cases will be considered by their medical staff. No! I am gladly headed elsewhere. Additionally, I never really cared for their high-volume environment and sluggish turnaround times. The price is good if you are patient, but the €MANDATORY€ canine influenza shot may actually be required -- while other groomers have not created such policies.

I left a message for the general manager and never received a return phone call. They have no concern for peoples pets all they care about is making money.

I have boarded my bulldog here before for a day with no problems. Recently I boarded him for five days. Upon my return I find he has a UTI, redness in one eye and signs of a possible cold. The vet was nowhere to be found so I immediately took him to my vet. They said not only did he have a cold, but he had the worst case of conjunctivitis they have ever seen. Total pet care's vet called me back 3 hours after leaving, to tell me they thought it was simply redness due to excitement! If you value the wellbeing of your pet, I would not recommend leaving them in this facility.

Had the pup stay here during a family stay in Ohio. Making the appointment was simple, I was able to book our reservation online. They followed up with a confirmation email to let me know our reservation was booked along with instructions as to what would be needed on the day of drop off. Other than a copy of current immunizations there is some light paperwork to fill out. If your pet is in need of any immunizations for their stay they are willing to administer them for you. The staff here is super friendly. But then again, I love anyone who is not intimidated by my bully breed. They were very good with him. I can't see myself going anywhere else when visiting Toledo. I was very surprised as to how reasonable their boarding prices were, your pets stay will not break the bank!

When they're in that clinic, they are treated like Royalty.The facility and medical care is state of the art. When traveling, I've told my friends that Zephyr is at The Ritz Carleton for Dogs. Every single time when I pick him up he's smiling, bathed, and lead to me by a staff person that loves animals.I went first to Total Pet Care because I've done lots of business with it's owners Dan and Connie Shook I go back because they've delivered beyond my expectations. When my yorkie was sick a few weeks ago I called and Total Pet Care was told to bring him right in. The staff took exceptional care of not only him but me as well. Because he is so little and what was wrong with him he had to stay 2 nights. Dr. Hoffman and her well trained staff of Registered Veterinary Technicians took care of him as though he was one of their own pets. When I picked him up I was confident that he received the best care available in the area. Thank you Total Pet Care for helping my little guy.

Total pet care is a wonderful family run business. Our family had an incident in which our dog was severely injured, the owner personally came out to our home and helped save our animal. The vets were all very attentive and personable. I cannot say enough about the staff. Our dog had to stay for several weeks and the staff went out of their way to accomodate her. They also worked with our family on the vet bills which were quite high (our dog had 3 surgeries)
