Something has likely changed with this vet location. I don't usually post reviews, but do need to share our poor experience. Our dog was quite sick and despite 3 days at this clinic, she didn't recover until seeing another vet. Milford Animal Hospital was hard to deal with. It was like having to pull info from the doctors and techs as to what should be done. We went from our dog requiring liquids by IV to being fine to the possible next step of exploratory surgery which did not provide trust in the guidance. On top of it, fees were extremely high (hundreds of dollars) with no positive outcome. Eventually we took our dog to another vet who in 45 min diagnosed the situation, gave us medicine and in 24 hours, the dog was feeling better. I would avoid this animal hospital based on our own experience.

I have been going here for years for a total of 4 dogs and 1 cat. They are reliable, helpful and so sweet. Everyone here loves animals and it shows. Your fur babies always receive so many lets from the staff and treats too. I highly recommend this establishment. Not only are they amicable with all of their patients, but they form extensive treatment plans with lots of options. 10/10 recommend

My dog was sick and when we arrived without an appointment they immediately got us in. It was very stressful having my dog so sick. My dog and I both were treated with love and compassion. My dog had to stay for the day. I was able to call and check on him throughout the day and was met with patience at each call. They continually encouraged me to call so I would feel better and not worry. I am happy to say my dog is doing well. I would recommend this practice to anyone that values the lives of their fur babies.

Where do I start? From day one, going to Milford Animal Hospital with my 3 month old Maltese , to present day, was the best possible choice I could have made. My Maltese is now 13 months old and she has needed some unexpected care. Starting with our first visit we were warmly welcomed by the friendly front desk, loved seeing “Snow Whites” name on the “Welcome Board” (her name was picked by my granddaughters). Dr. Clemons was so welcoming, took his time with Snow and was so patient with my questions and concerns. Each and every experience in 2017 was pleasant from beginning to end. I want to thank Dr. Clemons, all the Veterinary Assistants, and the Office Staff, with a special thank you to Diana for her warmth and very professional patience with any questions, if she doesn’t have the answers she finds the answers and resolve for you. God Bless you all for I truly feel Dr. Clemons is a true professional who, along with the staff at Milford Animal Hospital are all in this field for all the right reasons. (I could never say that about the last Veterinary office I dealt with for 14 years, I truly didn’t know how bad it was until I experienced this past year with the wonderful staff at Milford Animal Hospital.)

My poor Darr-Me felt so bad, he wouldn't even sit up in the car on our way to Milford Animal Hospital today. He had a major dose of inflammation, an eye infection and an ear infection. After the wonderful care he received from Dr. Chelsea Sluyter and Veterinary Assistant Laura, he was feeling much loved and perky. He can be rather snippy when he is sick or in pain and today he was not tolerating me for a second. Laura picked him up to take him to the treatment room and he turned to mush in her hands. I am so thankful for them.

This morning I woke up and heard my cat sounding congested when he coughed. I hadn't ever taken any of my animals to Milford Animal Hospital before, but they had great reviews so I called them at 7:30 when they opened. They were able to get my cat in at 8:30 even as a new patient and the staff couldn't have been nicer. The office and techs were great with my cat and Dr. Sluyter was great. She took the time to listen to my concerns and not just jump to conclusions before hearing everything that I had to say. I am glad to say that I have found a new vet on this side of town and will be telling everybody else about them as well.

My family has been going to this vet for as long as I can remember and they are just such wonderful people. Last week my cat had to be put to sleep and they were wonderful. They made sure things were quiet, turned out the lights and lit candles. Soon after we received a beautiful sympathy card which made us all bawl all over again. These people truly care about animals and I would never trust my babies with any other vet.

I just had my first visit with dr.clemons to address both medical and behavioral issues with my rescue dog. It couldn't have gone any better! The doctor spent 45 min with us and really addressed all of my concerns and came up with a treatment plan that I am very comfortable with. The entire staff was so kind and attentive and made me and my dog feel more at ease. I definitely found our forever vet!
The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is the cost was more than double the estimate I was given on the phone. I think the service I received was worth the price I paid but it could have been nice to know a more accurate estimate before hand.

They were incredible! I called first thing in the morning to have my new kitten seen. They had me scheduled to come in within the hour. The staff were knowledgeable and kind. While waiting to be seen, a technician took the time to clip my kitten's nails and gave some play toys to keep him occupied. When Dr. Wright came in, he was very gentle with my kitten and printed out an expense report before any of the treatment was conducted. He was honest and straight forward. I decided to have the felv/fiv test as well as the shot to make my baby stop vomiting. They did both the shot and blood draw at the same time to minimize trauma. It is the day after the appointment and my kitten is back to normal and I couldn't be happier. I will certainly be back when my kitten needs care!

After searching for a vet that could tell me what was wrong with my kitty Dagger, this was finally the place to quite quickly figure it out. I became a client back in October, with an accurate diagnosis of diabetes and immediately began treatments. Things went really well and Dagger bounced back like a new cat! I couldn't have been happier. About a week ago, Dagger's health declined overnight. When I called, they were able to get him in right away, and for two days Dr. Clemens and Foster fought for him, and we gave him care around the clock overnight when they let us take him home. Unfortunately, Dagger was too far gone, and I can't believe it's been a week but we had to put him down. The staff there are angels, working with me, my family, and my poor Dagger cat with the best intentions, and care possible. To all of the staff... I can't thank you enough for your warmth and compassion. Today, a week later, I received a sympathy card with a heart of wildflower seeds to plant and bloom in honor of my lost kitty, and handwritten notes from the staff that just made me cry all over again. To Dr. Clemens and Foster, you are rare in your industry and wonderful amazing people. Thank you. In October I was a client, and today I am a lifer.

Dr. Gary Clemens helped me and with my dog, and explained everything to me in great detail. Unfortunately, I lost my best friend of 9 years and we had to put him down. He was compassionate and Tyson died peacefully in my arms. I will never forget the kindness of Dr. Clemens and will forever be thankful. As far as cost, it's very affordable as well.. Excellent group! I trust my animals with no one else. Have had two elderly pets put down when it was their time and received nothing but kindness from the staff, a sympathy card and they didn't even bill until a month later. Most recently, our youngest cat had a severe reaction to a vaccine from another clinic and with their quick action and expert care, our boy is doing just fine! Don't go anywhere else!

I have taken my two dogs, a basset mix and corgi mix, here since 2010. I love this place and still drive my dog back to Cincinnati from Pennsylvania for his vet visits.I had taken my pup (who is allergic to the world and kind of broke) to another vet, and I had finally had enough of the craziness. My mom had heard of Milford Animal Hospital from Dr. Clemon's radio show - she had been telling me about some of his talks about allergies in dogs and what not, and I decided to try them for a vet.Our vet is actually Dr. Moore - who is very intelligent, explains things well, and great with the dogs. They are all incredibly knowledgeable here and have been a world of help with my two weird pups (overbites, allergies, and anxiety, oh my!). The staff is all incredibly nice, the place is always clean, and accidents are immediately cleaned up (I say knowingly, my dogs are embarrassing at the vet......I swear). My dogs always come out happy and healthy - they seriously love it here so much.Overall, I have had nothing but good experiences here.

I have been going to Milford Animal for over twenty years. Dr Clemons is my animals' vet, however I've seen the other vets in the practice, and have been pleased. Where do I start? From day one, going to Milford Animal Hospital with my 3 month old Maltese , to present day, was the best possible choice I could have made. My Maltese is now 13 months old and she has needed some unexpected care. Starting with our first visit we were warmly welcomed by the friendly front desk, loved seeing “Snow Whites” name on the “Welcome Board” (her name was picked by my granddaughters). Dr. Clemons was so welcoming, took his time with Snow and was so patient with my questions and concerns. Each and every experience in 2017 was pleasant from beginning to end. I want to thank Dr. Clemons, all the Veterinary Assistants, and the Office Staff, with a special thank you to Diana for her warmth and very professional patience with any questions, if she doesn’t have the answers she finds the answers and resolve for you. God Bless you all for I truly feel Dr. Clemons is a true professional who, along with the staff at Milford Animal Hospital are all in this field for all the right reasons. (I could never say that about the last Veterinary office I dealt with for 14 years, I truly didn’t know how bad it was until I experienced this past year with the wonderful staff at Milford Animal Hospital.)

My poor Darr-Me felt so bad, he wouldn't even sit up in the car on our way to Milford Animal Hospital today. He had a major dose of inflammation, an eye infection and an ear infection. After the wonderful care he received from Dr. Chelsea Sluyter and Veterinary Assistant Laura, he was feeling much loved and perky. He can be rather snippy when he is sick or in pain and today he was not tolerating me for a second. Laura picked him up to take him to the treatment room and he turned to mush in her hands. I am so thankful for them.

This morning I woke up and heard my cat sounding congested when he coughed. I hadn't ever taken any of my animals to Milford Animal Hospital before, but they had great reviews so I called them at 7:30 when they opened. They were able to get my cat in at 8:30 even as a new patient and the staff couldn't have been nicer. The office and techs were great with my cat and Dr. Sluyter was great. She took the time to listen to my concerns and not just jump to conclusions before hearing everything that I had to say. I am glad to say that I have found a new vet on this side of town and will be telling everybody else about them as well.

My family has been going to this vet for as long as I can remember and they are just such wonderful people. Last week my cat had to be put to sleep and they were wonderful. They made sure things were quiet, turned out the lights and lit candles. Soon after we received a beautiful sympathy card which made us all bawl all over again. These people truly care about animals and I would never trust my babies with any other vet.

I just had my first visit with dr.clemons to address both medical and behavioral issues with my rescue dog. It couldn't have gone any better! The doctor spent 45 min with us and really addressed all of my concerns and came up with a treatment plan that I am very comfortable with. The entire staff was so kind and attentive and made me and my dog feel more at ease. I definitely found our forever vet!
The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is the cost was more than double the estimate I was given on the phone. I think the service I received was worth the price I paid but it could have been nice to know a more accurate estimate before hand.

They were incredible! I called first thing in the morning to have my new kitten seen. They had me scheduled to come in within the hour. The staff were knowledgeable and kind. While waiting to be seen, a technician took the time to clip my kitten's nails and gave some play toys to keep him occupied. When Dr. Wright came in, he was very gentle with my kitten and printed out an expense report before any of the treatment was conducted. He was honest and straight forward. I decided to have the felv/fiv test as well as the shot to make my baby stop vomiting. They did both the shot and blood draw at the same time to minimize trauma. It is the day after the appointment and my kitten is back to normal and I couldn't be happier. I will certainly be back when my kitten needs care!

After searching for a vet that could tell me what was wrong with my kitty Dagger, this was finally the place to quite quickly figure it out. I became a client back in October, with an accurate diagnosis of diabetes and immediately began treatments. Things went really well and Dagger bounced back like a new cat! I couldn't have been happier. About a week ago, Dagger's health declined overnight. When I called, they were able to get him in right away, and for two days Dr. Clemens and Foster fought for him, and we gave him care around the clock overnight when they let us take him home. Unfortunately, Dagger was too far gone, and I can't believe it's been a week but we had to put him down. The staff there are angels, working with me, my family, and my poor Dagger cat with the best intentions, and care possible. To all of the staff... I can't thank you enough for your warmth and compassion. Today, a week later, I received a sympathy card with a heart of wildflower seeds to plant and bloom in honor of my lost kitty, and handwritten notes from the staff that just made me cry all over again. To Dr. Clemens and Foster, you are rare in your industry and wonderful amazing people. Thank you. In October I was a client, and today I am a lifer.

Excellent group! I trust my animals with no one else. Have had two elderly pets put down when it was their time and received nothing but kindness from the staff, a sympathy card and they didn't even bill until a month later. Most recently, our youngest cat had a severe reaction to a vaccine from another clinic and with their quick action and expert care, our boy is doing just fine! Don't go anywhere else!

I have taken my two dogs, a basset mix and corgi mix, here since 2010. I love this place and still drive my dog back to Cincinnati from Pennsylvania for his vet visits.I had taken my pup (who is allergic to the world and kind of broke) to another vet, and I had finally had enough of the craziness. My mom had heard of Milford Animal Hospital from Dr. Clemon's radio show - she had been telling me about some of his talks about allergies in dogs and what not, and I decided to try them for a vet.Our vet is actually Dr. Moore - who is very intelligent, explains things well, and great with the dogs. They are all incredibly knowledgeable here and have been a world of help with my two weird pups (overbites, allergies, and anxiety, oh my!). The staff is all incredibly nice, the place is always clean, and accidents are immediately cleaned up (I say knowingly, my dogs are embarrassing at the vet......I swear). My dogs always come out happy and healthy - they seriously love it here so much.Overall, I have had nothing but good experiences here.
