I had 2 small dogs that were sick with a intestinal virus. It was going on for 3 days. You can schedule a appointment or they have walk-ins during certain hours. So we chose the walk-ins. We had to wait for approximately 1 1/2 hours. It was worth the wait. 🐕were put on antibiotics and a dewormer. Now they are feeling better and back to their normal selves. Very happy with Baker House Animal Hospital. Been there before.

Expensive and testing I wasn't wanting done on older dogs and never was told results for test and when handling pets to put on table was not careful and placed on table even though I had said my one dog has back issues. That had me in knots watching that. I wish I would have just walked out.
It was a whirlwind and nerve racking paid for test I wasn’t wanting to have done and ended up with a bill that was much more than I had planned. Why is it so hard to find a good Veteranian office that is not going to do more than you asked and cost so much money. Seems to cost as much or more for our pets to be taking care of than it does for ourselves.

The doctor who took care of our cat was great, but the young receptionist who took my payment was rude. I pointed out that my cats name was wrong on their records and instead of correcting it, she said "well, to each is own. " What?? She should have just fixed it. Ended up having to put our cat to sleep - 2nd, older receptionist was much friendlier and helpful. Doctor and nurse were very kind and let us spend as much time as we needed with our cat before and after euthanasia.

I highly recommend Baker House Animal Hospital to anyone who truly loves their pets and wants them to receive excellent veterinary care from knowledgeable and compassionate professionals. Drs. Craig and Malloy and their dedicated staff members are all super. They really care about helping pets -- not just about making money. I really appreciate the clinic hours and Vaccines for Life program, as well as the online access to my pets' records.

Too bad the lowest I can rate this place is 1 star it really deserves 0 stars, wouldn€t recommend this place to anyone! I took my dog there and the nurse that assisted us was getting frustrated because my dog wouldn€t stand still to take his weight. (We€ve taken my dog to the vet before and he never acts like this) he was so scared and she kept yelling at me to hold him still and she kept talking down to me. She then left the room without saying anything to me, after waiting 10-15 minutes I decided to leave. The receptionist didn€t ask me anything and as I got into my car and was backing out I saw the nurse staring at me through the window! I live 5 minutes from this place and I rather drive 30 minutes to another vet than to ever take my dog there again!

I have always trusted the staff at Baker House Animal Hospital with all my pets' health care needs. From nail trims, routine blood work, surgeries, and yes, the humane euthanasia of beloved, aged pets, my experience has always been positive and compassionate.
Along with excellent and personable certified veterinary technicians, I really appreciate that Doctors Craig & Molloy employ students from the local high school. I believe that by giving these young people professional experience in a busy veterinary practice, the Doctors are investing in their community and its future. The retention of these students is high- I've seen some of them throughout their four-year high school career. That's not something I've seen in any other veterinary practice, "chain" or otherwise. I truly cannot imagine how much patients this takes, but bless them all for their efforts.
Additionally, Baker House puts a high priority on continuing education for both doctors and staff. I know my pets are receiving the latest in veterinary healthcare advancements.
I trust each Doctor equally, and I know they personally care about the health and well-being being of my pets. Their individual approach varies, as all personalities do, but I know they are each, in their own way, putting my pet first, which is all I really want from my veterinarian.

I called to check on my mom's cat, after it was attacked by a dog. My mother was confused about what exactly was going on with her very loved furry purry.... I was talked down to, and found out that apparently pets at this clinic are protected by HIPPA ???? As someone who has an associates degree in veterinary science, I have never heard of this. I left my name and number , and was told that I would receive a call. I never received a call. I was very upset with the cryptic description that they gave my elderly mother. If I didn't live and work in Baltimore, Maryland, I would have gone to their office to make a verbal complaint. Since I'm over 400 miles away, I'll just post my disgust on here. If you don't mind being treated like you're stupid, and you want your loved ones to be kept in the dark about the care of their loved furry family member, then I guess this is the place for you. But I seriously would not recommend this place!! They also have been playing let's guess and not do a thorough exam to see what's really going on with this poor cat.... I'm so upset with how they treated my mother, and I'm not there to comfort her.

I continuously had to repeat myself as she kept answering wrong regarding my bill. For example I'd ask about exam fee and she started talking about nails. I found this place on a webpage offering discount services for vaccinations. These prices were not honor and I was told they don't participate in what I see although listed. When I started they should contact someone to remove the advertisement, she showed me their website. This is about reputation management. If a client tells you your services are being advertised at prices you don't honor, you should say thank you for the heads up and contact the media outlet that is responsible for the advertisement.

I have been very happy bringing my pets to Baker House. Their prices are reasonable and Dr. Craig is very thorough and honest with what she thinks is best for your pet. Recently I appreciated her phone response to an email I sent to her to discuss issues with my Golden Retriever who I'd taken to OSU for hip surgery. She was so helpful in giving me her professional opinion based on my dog's complications with his hip surgeries and made me feel better able to make the best decision for my dog. She's a great vet and a kind, caring person.

I had to have r dog Jack put down b/c of a heart disease and Dr Craig and the whole staff could not have been nicer!!!! Never an easy thing to have to decide to do but I felt very confident that if their was any thing Dr Craig could have done to help Jack I am sure she would have done it. And then about a week later I received the sweetest card of condolence and all the staff signed it. We have now adopted a new dog from the SPCA and I took him straight to Dr Craig. She said he was in very good condition. I will never take him to any other vet.

Six years ago when we moved to this area, we needed an on call, caring, and affordable vet for our Yorkie-poo Molly. Since we've found Baker House, we couldn't be more pleased. I don't know if anyone goes by this but I had to say something. I got a puppy and while playing he got a cut on his nose. He had an abscess form and the methods they went about to heal him only made matters worse. Not the first time they did something similar to this to a family member of mine. They murdered my puppy as far as I'm concerned, after speaking with two other veterinarians. I want to go into more details but it is difficult with this short amount of room and short amount of time. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE before you consider these people for someone to take care of a member of your family remember THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT MONEY, NOT YOUR PET. If you want a further explanation PLEASE call 910-545-7061 and I will gladly explain to you how they rob you of all your money while barely providing treatment and sometimes making it worse.

My first visit to have my lovely greyhounds nasty breath taken care of via a teeth cleaning which requires anesthesia for my breed. They had a detailed breakdown of the projected expense as well as costs for any potential extras like extractions, so no surprises!Price very competitive, service down home friendly by knowledgeable, attentive & caring staff and vet, and best of all lil Ms Houndy's breath is now wonderfully not-nasty for those many unexpected big slobbering kisses to the face that I tolerate daily! I highly recommend Baker House Animal Hospital to anyone who truly loves their pets and wants them to receive excellent veterinary care from knowledgeable and compassionate professionals. Drs. Craig and Malloy and their dedicated staff members are all super. They really care about helping pets -- not just about making money. I really appreciate the clinic hours and Vaccines for Life program, as well as the online access to my pets' records.

Too bad the lowest I can rate this place is 1 star it really deserves 0 stars, wouldn€t recommend this place to anyone! I took my dog there and the nurse that assisted us was getting frustrated because my dog wouldn€t stand still to take his weight. (We€ve taken my dog to the vet before and he never acts like this) he was so scared and she kept yelling at me to hold him still and she kept talking down to me. She then left the room without saying anything to me, after waiting 10-15 minutes I decided to leave. The receptionist didn€t ask me anything and as I got into my car and was backing out I saw the nurse staring at me through the window! I live 5 minutes from this place and I rather drive 30 minutes to another vet than to ever take my dog there again!

Dr. Craig was so good with our dog Penny,when I brought her in with back pain. She was patient with Penny and with us. Plus the Tech was great also and lifted Penny into our car, which is not an easy task. Penny is over 40 pounds and all muscle. I will recommend Baker House without hesitation.

I have always trusted the staff at Baker House Animal Hospital with all my pets' health care needs. From nail trims, routine blood work, surgeries, and yes, the humane euthanasia of beloved, aged pets, my experience has always been positive and compassionate.
Along with excellent and personable certified veterinary technicians, I really appreciate that Doctors Craig & Molloy employ students from the local high school. I believe that by giving these young people professional experience in a busy veterinary practice, the Doctors are investing in their community and its future. The retention of these students is high- I've seen some of them throughout their four-year high school career. That's not something I've seen in any other veterinary practice, "chain" or otherwise. I truly cannot imagine how much patients this takes, but bless them all for their efforts.
Additionally, Baker House puts a high priority on continuing education for both doctors and staff. I know my pets are receiving the latest in veterinary healthcare advancements.
I trust each Doctor equally, and I know they personally care about the health and well-being being of my pets. Their individual approach varies, as all personalities do, but I know they are each, in their own way, putting my pet first, which is all I really want from my veterinarian.

I called to check on my mom's cat, after it was attacked by a dog. My mother was confused about what exactly was going on with her very loved furry purry.... I was talked down to, and found out that apparently pets at this clinic are protected by HIPPA ???? As someone who has an associates degree in veterinary science, I have never heard of this. I left my name and number , and was told that I would receive a call. I never received a call. I was very upset with the cryptic description that they gave my elderly mother. If I didn't live and work in Baltimore, Maryland, I would have gone to their office to make a verbal complaint. Since I'm over 400 miles away, I'll just post my disgust on here. If you don't mind being treated like you're stupid, and you want your loved ones to be kept in the dark about the care of their loved furry family member, then I guess this is the place for you. But I seriously would not recommend this place!! They also have been playing let's guess and not do a thorough exam to see what's really going on with this poor cat.... I'm so upset with how they treated my mother, and I'm not there to comfort her.

I continuously had to repeat myself as she kept answering wrong regarding my bill. For example I'd ask about exam fee and she started talking about nails. I found this place on a webpage offering discount services for vaccinations. These prices were not honor and I was told they don't participate in what I see although listed. When I started they should contact someone to remove the advertisement, she showed me their website. This is about reputation management. If a client tells you your services are being advertised at prices you don't honor, you should say thank you for the heads up and contact the media outlet that is responsible for the advertisement.

I have been very happy bringing my pets to Baker House. Their prices are reasonable and Dr. Craig is very thorough and honest with what she thinks is best for your pet. Recently I appreciated her phone response to an email I sent to her to discuss issues with my Golden Retriever who I'd taken to OSU for hip surgery. She was so helpful in giving me her professional opinion based on my dog's complications with his hip surgeries and made me feel better able to make the best decision for my dog. She's a great vet and a kind, caring person.

I had to have r dog Jack put down b/c of a heart disease and Dr Craig and the whole staff could not have been nicer!!!! Never an easy thing to have to decide to do but I felt very confident that if their was any thing Dr Craig could have done to help Jack I am sure she would have done it. And then about a week later I received the sweetest card of condolence and all the staff signed it. We have now adopted a new dog from the SPCA and I took him straight to Dr Craig. She said he was in very good condition. I will never take him to any other vet.

Six years ago when we moved to this area, we needed an on call, caring, and affordable vet for our Yorkie-poo Molly. Since we've found Baker House, we couldn't be more pleased. I don't know if anyone goes by this but I had to say something. I got a puppy and while playing he got a cut on his nose. He had an abscess form and the methods they went about to heal him only made matters worse. Not the first time they did something similar to this to a family member of mine. They murdered my puppy as far as I'm concerned, after speaking with two other veterinarians. I want to go into more details but it is difficult with this short amount of room and short amount of time. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE before you consider these people for someone to take care of a member of your family remember THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT MONEY, NOT YOUR PET. If you want a further explanation PLEASE call 910-545-7061 and I will gladly explain to you how they rob you of all your money while barely providing treatment and sometimes making it worse.
