My first two visits for my cat were positive. Mostly friendly staff who went above and beyond to see my cat for an emergency; however, subsequent visits for cast changes were negative. The wait was too long for scheduled appointments (waited an hour for cast change at last appointment), rude tech that shamed us for being unable to keep our rural, outdoor cat from escaping. Won't be returning and will follow up with our regular rural vet who respects our wishes concerning our pet's care. Read Less

Dr Rogers and her staff of angels are amazing. 2 years ago I accidentally stepped on my Pomeranian and dislocated her hip. After the first unsuccessful attempt to pop in back into place my b/f insisted they try it again. I thought he was nuts and I am pretty sure Dr Rogers was on the same page as me. However I think she underestimated her amazing powers because the 2nd attempt worked and Nessie was back to the little 7lb spitfire that I had remembered. 2 years later, this past week, I am noticing Nessie isn't doing well. She hadn't eaten or drank anything for hours. Thursday morning I am up early. Phone in my hand and number already punched in to their office just waiting for it to open and pray they can get her in. Such relief when I am able to get a 9:30 appointment. I find out that Nessie has what is called Pyometra. It is a serious and life threatening infection in her uterus. I have 2 options. Surgery or have her put to sleep. Actually 1 option because as sick as she was and the chance she may not survive the surgery I was going to make sure she was given the chance. She immediately went into surgery. Dr Rogers made calls to me to update me on how she was doing. Just over 24 hours after surgery I get the call that she can go home. I was excited but at the same time scared because for just the little time before I had her to the vet she was so sick and not herself. .How little credit I gave her for bouncing back so fast. I had her home 15 minutes and realized I was going to have to contain her in a baby play yard. She was bouncy, barking orders and wanting to play. I think I am going to rename her Cujo. Dr Rogers said she is back to her "sassy" self. I am not sure if I have seen Nessie like this since she was a year old. She is 13 years old now. I learned a big lesson. When I had gotten Nessie she was just over a pound. I thought she is too tiny and having her fixed would be so painful to her. I always knew I was never going to breed her so why bother having her fixed. As she got older the thought of having her fixed just didn't seem important. I was so wrong. You should always have your pets fixed. Not only to control the pet population but also for health reasons. Such as what my poor Nessie just went through. As she got older the risk of her getting Pyometra was greater. To see her that sick was heartbreaking but even more so after learning it could of all been avoided if only I had her fixed as soon as it was possible to do so. I am very lucky to have had the option available to me to give her the surgery that she needed. Even luckier that it was Dr Rogers and her staff that performed it. PLEASE spare your pet of any health issues and help control the pet population and have them spayed or neutered as soon as possibleRead Less
