I have been taking my pets here since Dr.Hart opened her own practice. Dr.Hart and Dr.Lang are the only vets I trust with my beloved dogs. Stephanie at the desk is very friendly as well as the other girls. Dr.Lang makes my pets feel comfortable and relaxed. My diabetic dog looks forward to spending time there for her sugar checks. All due respect to Dr. Hart, but since she no longer owns this practice she should really take her name off of it as it has become an embarrassment and moreover, a liability. The staff is rude and incompetent, from the gems who answer the phones to the medical staff. The lack of professionalism, compassion for animals, and ability to administer proper medical care or even remember to write an appointment down after it has been scheduled, is really quite impressive. Dr. Hart is a supreme Veterinarian. She is the reason I continue to take my pet to Hart's Animal Hospital! Although she is only available two days a week now, the staff and the clientele are always a pleasure to deal with. This vet by far is the worst place ever! A little over 2 yrs ago Dr. Lang wouldn't see my dog who was a established patient because he had a schedule to stick to. My dog was actively dying and he sent out a receptionist to look at the condition of my dog. She thought he was stable enough to wait for a afternoon appointment. I couldn't even carry him in. She looked at him in the car. I said he is very unstable so after looking at him again she went in to tell Dr. Lang and he still refused to see him until the afternoon. And they only had one person waiting in the waiting room. The end result is I went back to Dr. Busaks Clinic in parma Ohio. They welcomed me with open arms and said my dog couldn't of waited. He was very sick. I had to put him to sleep that day. They did everything they could to save him even hug me when I cried. I have never seen such a lack of compassion in any other vet services as I've seen in Harts. I would rather pay a little more money for excellent vet service then go to this whole in the wall place. I'm so glad I was able to get at least 5 of my family and friends to leave this place. Be careful if you go here. Things may seem good in the beginning like they did for us but when you really need them they aren't there for you or your pet. I've had several people reach out to me after I left a review on their Facebook page. All of us went to the board of veterinarians with what happened to us. My family and myself have been going to DR. Hart for years, and she is absolutely wonderful. I wouldn't trust my labs with anyone else! She is extremely caring, and just a great person in general. Not to mention, she takes her time with the animals , and does a thorough physical and explains everything in great lengths. Our last visit he told us that our dog would need medication long term for his skin condition, which he still has no idea what it is, and that we would have to give him Apoquel daily. I called for a prescription refill and he refused, demanding that I, once again, pay for yet another visit so he can tell me nothing and rip me off some more. Save your time and money by going to a doctor that's knowledgeable, ethically inclined, and interested in the care of animals. I have never taken the time to write a bad review in my entire life, which goes to show how exactly displeased I am with the lack of services provided by this rude, arrogant, and unhelpful vet. My mother had to make the tough decision to put her dog down on 6/13. That in itself was something she didn't want to do as she wanted God to take her little man but she entrusted dr hart's staff to help her through this tough time. Not only did she have to wait almost 2 hours sitting with her dog on her lap all the vet cared about was if she paid for the services for that day. The kicker is now, 2 weeks later, no one knows where her dog's ashes are. The office staff says that he was delivered on 6/22 and asked my mom if one of her family members picked him up. My mom's heart is broken and now she may not even have his ashes to remember him by ... I'm definitely taking my furry family member elsewhere and I encourage everyone else to do the same Read Less

We've been seeing Dr. Hart for our various cats for 15 years for shots, emergencies, teeth care, surgeries, boarding, etc. She and her staff are very caring and offer personalized attention each and every time. Been going to Hart's since I moved North in 2003. I have watched it grow from pretty much just Dr. Hart to the addition of additional doctors and assistants. Dr. Hart, the other doctors, and her staff have always been friendly and knowledgeable. The office is full service, so if you need x-rays or surgery, it is all done in-house. The office is clean and has been recently updated. Located in a small house in a residential area, it could be easily missed. Appointments are always taken on time. When I first started going here years ago, that wasn't always the case, but the addition of additional doctors and staff has the office running like a well oiled machine. That being said, the doctors still spend the appropriate amount of time with each patient. I only trust my furry family with Dr. Hart and her excellent doctors and assistants. Read Less

Been coming here for years but things have changed since Dr Hart sold the place! Brought our elderly dog in for teeth cleaning 2 weeks ago. We were told that she may need extractions but couldn't estimate the total cost due to this. I've been taking my dogs to Dr Hart for at least 16 years now. I would never go any place else. When my sheltie Lady was sick she took care of her like she was her own fur baby. We started coming to Harts Animal Hospital over 5 years ago, simply looking for a vet that was close to home and cheaper than our previous vet. I was so impressed when I walked in the door to this cozy clinic and greeted like I was a member of the family. Then I was blown away by the care Chewbacca and Zeus received as Dr. Hart went through the exam, talking more to my pups than to me. Even during the process of the exams my dogs are hugged, pet, and praised. Since that first visit, the staff including Dr. Lang have continued to show great concern and love towards my pets. I've never once felt like they were just another set of dogs walking through the door. I feel like we are remembered and valued. It's truly a pleasure to come in for their yearly check ups, chat with the staff, let my sons play with Tip and Marvin, etc. I recommend Harts Animal Hospital to anyone with a pet, no matter where you live.
