We took my sons guinea pig there because of a growth on its neck.  I was already invested for the $59 office visit and while checking him out, the vet said she could clip its nails while she took care of removing the growth, or do it now.  We didn't object, and considering I was paying the office visit, I thought it would be a value-add if she were to clip its nails.  I then asked for an estimate of the procedure she proposed for the growth.  The staff member returned with the current bill of $81 and an estimate of over $400 for the growth removal.  I was shocked they charged me $22 over the office visit for a "pedicure" that took less than 30 seconds to complete - and not really something we even asked for!  I was glad I asked for the estimate of the surgery, which allowed us to cut our losses.  In hind-sight, I should have refused to pay the $22, it's just ridiculous and I found it very unprofessional how the service was performed without being upfront about it being an additional charge.  The staff and vet were friendly, but if this is how they do business, I won't be going back. I took my 7 year-old papillon mix to get groomed this morning.  I found the entire staff and office to be warm and inviting.  The receptionist (Sue) and the groomer were very thorough and asked me questions about what I needed and expected.  The groomer (I wish I had gotten her name) was very sweet and gentle with my high strung pooch and all staff was very kind and made over him, which all pet owners love.  I will be returning again. You'll not regret choosing this clinic because they decided to hire one of the sweetest and most caring persons and vet that I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. My family and I moved and needed to find a vet for our 3 furbabies. I called and scheduled a visit with Dr. Headlee. All I wanted to do was to introduce her to our oldest, which was the one she would be seeing the most. She took time out of her busy day to visit with us and answer all my questions. Since our first visit, Dr. Headlee has taken care of every one of the girls and went above and beyond her veterinary duties by taken time to love on them, play with them and even comfort me after some difficult news about our oldest. We have a 100lb malamute mix. She sheds like crazy and can be very vocal and combative when being groomed. At her first ever vet visit at a different vet it took 4 adults to hold her down so we could keep her still enough to trim her nails, and it sounded like a toddler throwing a tantrum. All Pets always does an amazing job getting her coat and nails back under control and Kira is silent as a mouse during the whole ordeal. We have never had a problem getting Kira in to see Dr. Schoenfeld when Kira has needed immediate attention, and every visit has been an amazing experience. Read Less

We have been clients at Allpets since Brinkli was 5 weeks old.  She will be 9, in a few weeks.  I chose this vet clinic because I was impressed w the staff from the office manager Sue, to the vet techs like Sheila.  Mostly I just liked the caring attitude toward not only Brinkli but myself as well.  Today proved how right I was to choose Allpets.  ( not that I needed proof, trust me over the years if there has been trouble to find Brink will find it).  I found what I thought was a lump.  As any golden parent knows, it strikes a fear that cannot be described.  Within an hour, Sheila was making sure brink had tennis balls to play with, was comforting me and Dr Jennifer Schoenfeld was giving us the best word possible:  it was nothing but a reaction to a flu shot.  If you are looking for a clinic to care for your pets the way you would want them cared for, Allpets at Pickerington is your only choice.  They also have a top notch groomer who totally can transform your pup and let them have fun while enjoying a spa day. We had our first puppy vet visit with Allpets & Dr. Moran on Saturday. I called for an appt only a few days before and they got us in quickly. The facility is clean and spacious (reminds me of a human doctor's office), the staff is nice, and Dr Moran was great with the new pup. Very happy with their service. Read Less

We had our dog Jake groomed here today and it was such a wonderful experience! He's an 8 month old puppy and has only been groomed at Petsmart and had a TERRIBLE experience. We were happy to know that there is only one groomer who gets to know your dog very well before she does anything. We even got a tour of the facility to see where they board the dogs and where they go out to play. We can't wait until our Banfield Pet Hospital insurance ends and we can use All Pets as our primary vet as well! Read Less

Allpets at Pickerington is our favorite vet hospital in central Ohio. Dr. Schoenfeld and Dr. Moran provide very knowledgeable and professional care. During pet exams, they clearly teach and communicate exactly what they are doing and why. We have learned specifics about teeth cleanings, body weight, heartworms, fleas, etc. in just a few visits with our new cat. Now we are more invested in our cat's health because we know the direct cause & effect relationship with multiple health risks. Allpets offers boarding and grooming services under the same roof as the animal hospital, making it easy and convenient. STEER CLEAR OF THIS PLACE. The unfriendly staff is full of incompetent amateurs. They grossly overcharge for their inadequate, sub par services, and sheer neglect or concern for your animal. I was charged fto have blood work taken for our dog that they never sent out for testing..I inquired for the results, didn't receive a return call for several days, then was advised it was expired and I would have to pay the same fee, that I previously paid, to have the blood drawn again and a separate charge to have it tested??? (What customer would pay to have blood drawn with no intention of ever having it tested?) The "aid" I initially spoke to admitted fault, and lack of follow up, but stated she couldn't do anything about it and referee me to the Vet, I believe her name is Jennifer. Jennifer offered no resolution, didn't even offer an apology for their admitted incompetence, and then told me I could take my business elsewhere if I didn't want to pay the same fee again...easy to say once you've ripped someone off I suppose. Do yourself a favor...find a competent, reputable, veterinary clinic that cares more about the well being of your animal than the opportunity to take advantage of a customer in need. What a joke. Warn everyone you know in advance in the Pickerington area. Baltimore Veterinary Clinic was the complete opposite experience, they have excellent service at reasonable and customary charges. I highly, HIGHLY recommend All Pets At Pickerington, and this may get long... :)I can't remember when I first visited All Pets, but it was in either late 2009 or 2010. I had just moved into my now husband's home from across town and was looking for a specific type of place to take my Chihuahua mix, Mia, for a checkup and spay. I rescued Mia when she was a little over a year old from a neglected home.. in a nutshell, she was not properly socialized or trained. She still to this day has her issues trusting dogs and strangers, especially men, at first. But once she gets to know and trust you, she's a little lovebug! So, my first requirement in looking for a vet for her was that the doctors and most of the staff be female just to make things easier.My husband and I have seen both Dr. Moran and Dr. Schoenfeld at All Pets these past three or four years for Mia and our Dachshund, Cammie, and they as well as Sue, their head receptionist, and the rest of the staff are so very kind, compassionate, understanding and know just how to handle and approach my untrusting and protective Mia. She's been spayed and has had her teeth cleaned twice as well as routine visits, and I know and trust they love her and baby her as much as I do.They have been accommodating with slight emergencies (i.e. just me freaking out!) to real emergencies (Thank you, Sue!) and have also shed tears with us when our Cammie became really sick last year and we had to make the agonizing decision to end her suffering. Over the course of the past month or so, we've seen Dr. Schoenfeld a couple times, and she has been so knowledgeable and helpful in assisting us in finding another companion and friend for Mia. It's been trial and error since Cammie's passing in adding another dog into the home with Mia, and Dr. Schoenfeld has spent at least a total of a couple hours with us in answering questions and addressing our concerns. She's never been judgmental with us, especially in our trials and errors in attempting to bring a puppy into our home with a protective Chihuahua that just wasn't having it. She's a great listener, and you immediately know as soon as you meet her that she just loves animals. We have recently adopted a fuzzy poodle mix, Moss, from the Fairfield Human Society and all us are excited at how well it's working out with him and Mia.
