I have always loved Boston Terriers, and after many years of waiting, I finally bought one from a breeder in March of '06. As soon as I brought him home, I discovered he was very sick. Dr. Duvall (who is no longer there), helped me nurse my Merlin back to health. Merlin was infected with a bad case of mange, ear infection, respiratory infection, yeast infection, and every kind of worm a dog can get in its stool. It took me almost a year and a lot of money, but Merlin was finally healthy and has been so ever since thanks to the Cross Creeks staff. Throughout Merlin's illness, I had been fighting with the breeder over paying for his medical expenses, and Dr. Duvall even wrote a letter to describe how all of Merlin's conditions were the result of bad breeding/bad breeding environment, as I planned to sue the breeder for all the expenses and have her breeding program shut down. The staff was kind enough to write off some of the charges as things got very expensive, and every time I come in, they know me and all three of my dogs by name. Dr. Duvall is gone now, but Dr. Shields is just as nice and experienced. On many occasions, he has been honest rather than push vaccinations and products sold in the office. I feel they really care about my dogs and appreciate how friendly and loving to my dogs everyone is. Read Less
