The first visits commonly entail the screening of general lifestyle habits, standard laboratory tests and planning of the vaccination schedules. The clinic conducts evaluations to identify early indicators of illness in pets, such as reduced energy levels, discomfort during movement, and changes in appetite. The team looks into the actions and other contextual factors that are visible in order to make recommendations on what needs to be done to prevent a similar major problem in the future. Western Reserve Animal Clinic also assists with issues related to minor surgical procedures and dental hygiene as well as prescription management for chronic conditions. Help is available for addressing skin problems, age-related deterioration issues, and persistent digestive discomfort. Diagnostic plans could include imaging referrals and advanced blood work, depending on the disease and patient history. The health conditions of the animals in Pierpont and other areas in Ohio fluctuate. The clinic’s recordkeeping system supports not only flexible scheduling but also the tracking of all the necessary information for an efficient and effective management of the ongoing care programs. This method allows better tracking, as well as limits the loopholes of monitoring slow progressing conditions. Western Reserve Animal Clinic’s staff comprehensively customizes animal care plans based on these tests, changes at home, or even seasonal concerns rather than relying on pre-set schedules. Care instructions embody both the clinical and practical daily life expectations of Pierpont. The clinic remains a steadfast healthcare partner and a reliable source of information throughout all the stages of pet ownership.

We love our vet! With an elderly cocker spaniel and 7 month old springer, we seem to need them a lot! We love Kayla & Rebecca and Dr. Baird had always been so accommodating and welcoming. They care, and you can tell! We love our pets but we do not feel pressured to purchase things or "over visit" like we have at other vets. All in all I would recommend them to anyone who want a vet with a small town feel and who know you by name. Read Less
