Cleveland Equine Clinic

Ravenna, Ohio
General Info
Cleveland Equine Clinic in Ravenna is a practice that strives to offer quality, compassionate care for pets in the surrounding area. The clinic is situated in Ravenna, United States. The experienced team provides individualized wellness plans, regular check-ups, and various treatments for comprehensive pet care. Services often cover the following: Endoscopy, Homeopathy, Diagnostics, Boarding, Radiology (X-rays), Prescription Medications, Physical Therapy. The treatments are administered with detail and attention, focusing on both prevention and intervention. The hospital is well equipped, and tests support the treatment procedures. Therefore, animals are stress-free, which helps in performing tests for proper diagnosis and treatment. Clients often appreciate the team’s caring and communicative approach, which fosters trust and long-term relationships essential for pets’ ongoing health. Cleveland Equine Clinic is continuing to grow as an integral part of the Ravenna pet community. Whether your pet is young and needs help starting a healthy life or older and needs help managing chronic conditions, the clinic’s professionals are ready to help. The veterinarian’s love for animals is also reflected in her desire to continually educate herself and keep abreast of the latest developments in veterinary medicine. This ensures that your pet gets the best possible care. The practice also emphasizes responsible pet ownership and community involvement, making it not just a veterinary clinic but also a partner to pet families. Cleveland Equine Clinic services the Ravenna and Ohio areas and bases its visits on the animal’s daily movement patterns which include preparation, curiosity, pacing desire, and quiet. The feeding mechanism structure is based on rhythmic patterns. Pets receive opportunities to watch from lobby areas or room corners. The first appointment is all about environmental and body stabilization (lighting, positioning, voice). The physical exam follows a specific order: joints before mouth, and fur before stomach. Caregivers need to collect detailed descriptions of early morning behavior together with the resting breathing and feeding engagement changes. Cleveland Equine Clinic provides structured health mapping, including accurate diagnostics, injury recovery timelines, stress-conscious vaccine schedules, geriatric mobility assistance, and individualized pain tracking. The cadence of treatment changes when the animal “loops,” “freezes,” or continues to avoid eye contact. Steps stagger based on what the equipment can tolerate during movement recovery intervals rather than simultaneously. The decompression window observed in pets dictates how quickly families receive next-step suggestions after appointments. Some animals need to be walked and talked to, others have to be secluded and warmed up, or rocked repeatably. Caregivers need to know what to do afterwards, and Cleveland Equine Clinic incorporates this learning into the clinical process rather than making it an aftercare responsibility. Cleveland Equine Clinic collaborates with other practices to reach out to nervous kittens and senior pets in Ravenna, Ohio, living harmoniously from dawn and ending their day with reflection.

Recently took our QH Gelding twice in one week; once for x-rays then a follow up MRI. We hauled in from Pittsburgh. The facility is amazing and the staff was incredibly welcoming. Completely hands with unloading and settling our horse- with a stall, hay and fresh water. Plenty of easy parking for trailers and just a few minutes off the highway. The people waiting area and bathrooms are clean and very comfortable. Worked with Dr Genovese’s and Dr Hill. Both were incredibly patient and took their time to educate us and explain diagnosis and next steps. They made it clear that although our treatment plan would be monitored by our local vet; they can be called and emailed throughout the process and to send them videos to review as follow up. They were also very fast to call and talk with our local vet, farrier and assist in insurance paperwork. Read Less

Have had good work with them multiple times previously, but unfortunately our relationship has ended. After my last visit in May I called to get copies of the xrays so I could show my farrier, as it was hoof related. They wanted a $20 fee to email them to me. I posted on Facebook, not mentioning the clinic name or vet, just asking if anyone else had to pay this fee, since I have already "paid" for the xrays. Just a general, and what I thought, harmless inquiry. Thursday I call for Equiox and they told me they will no longer service my account and I need a new vet. There has been no problems to explain this outcome from my time dealing with this clinic, and with such a short notice with no valid explanation as to why. I am sorry it ended this way, but unfortunately I can't honestly recommend this clinic. Read Less
