I have 2 unruly terriers that I love dearly. I would never take my animals anywhere else. The staff have been so good to my guys even with their yapping, jumping and general misconduct :) The whole atmosphere of RAH is to me is great, fun loving care. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Boron. Not only is she is patient and kind she has helped me with practical solutions to everyday problems. She has suggested calming collars, how to brush their teeth, inexpensive food to make (they will eat!) when they're sick. I could go on. I've been taking my pets there for 12 years. Never have a problem getting an appointment, same day if I need it. Convenient hours, open late - 7 pm. They even have Saturday hours. Staff very pleasant and helpful. When blood work is done the doctor will call you with results. They keep you informed on your pets condition and what you need to change if anything.Read Less

Always have been there for our shepherd's from the day we brought him home. He was very dehydrated they took him in on a sat with no appointment and no ?'s or hesitation put him on iv fluids right away. When we took him home he still did not seem to feel better on there check up call they opened the office on a sunday just to get him in and another bag of iv solution. Thank you to the doctor and staff today for assisting us in making the decision to help Annie over the Rainbow Bridge for us to meet with her one day. She was such a joy in our lives, since the day a little girl brought her back to the Franklin County Shelter and Annie kissed ma on her way by, the way the shelter staff just shoved the vaccination papers through their portal and the father and I looked at my ma and he knew it was meant to be. When Dr. Dickerson met Annie, he fell in love with her and wanted to take her home. Annie stayed by ma's side during 45 minutes of me cleaning out her wound, stayed for 21 surgeries, visited numerous of individuals in various nursing homes since 2005 and my several wards I have had, and all of our vacations together to Myrtle Beach, Poconos, Florida Beach, and the Great Smokey Mountains. It is so painful in our hearts to let her go, but as she has been there for us, we needed to be there for her and not prolong any discomfort or pain. We will be sad but she is now healthy, and running and playing with all of the others that have past before her. We will always love you Ms. Annie. Much blessings to a beautiful spirit.Read Less

I have been taking my dogs to this vet for 15 years now. The vets are excellent and they do genuinely care for my girls as well as address ALL of my concerns. This being said, sometimes the wait for your appointment is behind as well as how overwhelmed the support staff up front may be. But when the vets are this good it is to be expected that the practice is very busy and because they provide total care for your pets they can run behind. I love them and will not got elsewhere. We've been going to RAH since the 1970s when Dr. Dickerson did surgery for our shephard/huskey mix for hip displacia. And they are still taking excellent care of our pets. They may not be the most modern looking place in town but they genuinely care about our pets and about us. That's what counts...especially when it comes time to say goodbye to your best friends. My last experience was not very good, my husband and I found a mass on our sweet little Dachshund Pebbles! When we arrived our doctor said she was concerned with the dogs back not so much the growth we found. Long story short our precious girl was misdiagnosed and ended up in OSU animal hospital with infection through her body her leg was 3 times its size and she was suffering by this time it was to late we had to put her down! I've been taking my dog Poco here since we first got him when he was 5 weeks old.Every single person working here from the front desk, helpers, and all 4 of the doctors in house are amazing!The entire staff loves what they do and are always very kind and loving!By looks it might not be a 5 star facility, but they know exactly what they are doing, the place is clean, we always  feel welcome and get appointments as fast as we need them.The prices are the lowest in town, since they focus only on the pets, no fuss, bells or whistles.Shots and medicine are $20 and include snacks, nailclipping, and a routine checkup with lots of love, what more could you want?!!No matter which of the 4 doctors you see, any of them will treat you pet well and give them the best care possible, no need to search for any other vet!
