Dr Williams is the best vet we have ever had in Solon,and any where else for that matter.....He moves slowly and most gentle,very calming.My wife and 3 children have shared our home over the years with no less than 6 dogs,5 cats ,3 guinea pigs and 1 rabbit.About the baby raccoons we found on our porch he said “no way pal”
“that is where l draw the line”
It was a legal issue...
Great veterinarian though.

I brought my very shy female cat into this place of business since it was the only one I have seen in my area (Solon). The staff was friendly and the business looked clean.
I left my cat to their care and struggled to get through work worrying about my cat. When I came back to pick her up I didn't question the orders Philip Williams D.V.M. gave me.
My cat is a skinny cat, she's 8 lbs wet so when they gave her Lactulose based on the weight of a 16 lbs I should have questioned it. The staff should change their weighing procedures.
Instead of holding my cat down on the scale and adding some of the staff weight to it, weight the carrier when they first come in. Remove the animal and weigh the carrier again. Subtract and you have the weight of the animal. This is a better method than why was practiced back in the past.
Even though it is really close to my house, I go to another place of business for pet care.

I brought my 12 yr old cocker spaniel in for a emergency appointment. I am a truck driver from Chicago. Dr Williams got her in ASAP and spent over a hour on examination to try and figure her issues out. He was very understanding of my concerns and explained everything in depth. The following day, again he explained medications and pros/cons. I wish he could be my home town vet. Felt more comfortable with him than any of my other vets! Highly recommended! Reasonable pricing also!

They have always been so compassionate and helpful! In addition to helping us keep our animals healthy, they have helped us with behavioral issues. As animals get older, of when they are very ill, they are careful that we know how to contact them in case of an emergency. They have also been honest with us. They are willing to do whatever testing we would like, but in the case of an animal no longer able to withstand treatment, they are honest enough to tell us investing in testing is not really necessary. I trust them and have found them to be competitive in their pricing.

I have three cats and all of my animals are thoroughly examined and gently treated each time we go there. When my older cat was dying of auto-immune disease, the care she received was excellent and sensitive to the cat's ability to tolerate necessary treatments. Each of my cats is individually cared-for and the vet is very knowledgeable and able to explain care easily and tell me what to do clearly and precisely. You can tell the vet, Dr. Williams, really cares about each animal, and Melanie, his receptionist, is very supportive and caring and takes time to make sure you understand everything Dr. Williams related. I have been going to this clinic for my animals for 14 years and won't change. Also, they open earlier in the morning than any other vet and when you have an emergency, that is REALLY IMPORTANT!

I brought my very shy female cat into this place of business since it was the only one I have seen in my area (Solon). The staff was friendly and the business looked clean.
I left my cat to their care and struggled to get through work worrying about my cat. When I came back to pick her up I didn't question the orders Philip Williams D.V.M. gave me.

They have always been so compassionate and helpful! In addition to helping us keep our animals healthy, they have helped us with behavioral issues. As animals get older, of when they are very ill, they are careful that we know how to contact them in case of an emergency. They have also been honest with us.
