The Springfield Animal Hospital is proud to serve the people and pets of the Springfield community and appreciate the trust that you’ve placed in us. Since it’s opening in 1959, there have only been three owners of this practice. We’d like you to know that as its third and newest owners, there’s not really much that’s changed.
We’re pleased to announce some changes you’ll be glad to hear! Due to your requests, we’ve expanded our schedule to better serve. This includes now being open on Thursdays. We’ve also lowered prices for many common services and procedures.

I would highly recommend Springfield Animal Hospital any day of the week. My pup became ill and had to stay here for nearly a week. They called every day to give us updates even when we would call them multiple times a day. Even after he pulled through and came home they continued to call to check up on him. These ladies are amazing!

I'm very particular about my dogs. We have 4 dachshunds and a mix. We just moved to this area and had to stop in for an emergency visit. Dr Rachel and the rest of the staff are amazing!! They took her right in and have been so ncie and welcoming. I also like their affordable fee plans. With multiple pets this really eases the cost of keeping our furbabies healthy.

We have just recently moved to the area, and we noticed our dog was favoring her eye...just as we were about to make a 8 hour drive to Atlanta. So without any appointment we just walked in and they took such good care of our Sophie! We found out she had an ulcer on her eye and Dr. Rachel prescribed some medication and her eye was cleared up by the next day! We have a total of 5 dogs and we are making sure all of them are under the amazing care of the staff at Springfield Animal Hospital!

Best vets I have ever been too. Took my dog in because she ate a beach towel and had emergency surgery and then at the end of my week my cat had a blockage and couldn't pee. Emergency surgery for him and another surgery for stones. Dr Dave and Dr Sarah took such good care of my fur babies along with all the staff. Dr sarah and Dr Dave took so much time answering all my questions and concerns. They genuinely care. I am very grateful to them all for making my husband and I plus my babies feel welcome. Love these people! Thanks to you all! Highly recommend them!

I took my 2 dogs here for the first time last week. We had just adopted them and we were unsure about their health. Dr. Sarah spent 90 minutes with us. Answering all of my worried questions and gave them a very thorough exam. All of their tests came back great and we have them on the wellness plan which is an awesome idea. Very grateful to Dr. Sarah and the very friendly and helpful office staff.. from the person answering the phone to the vet tech. .to the doc. We won't go anywhere else again. After a bad experience in another vet office in the area I was recommended to Springfield Animal Hospital by a coworker. The staff was friendly, upbeat and extremely patient with my pup. The care and attention to detail was fantastic, the vet took the time to answer any questions I had and to give great advice on how to care for my puppy. To top it off, the healthy pet program makes great vet care affordable. I highly recommend this office to anyone looking for a clean and welcoming environment for their fur baby (or babies). I won't be taking my puppy anywhere else.

I can not stress to you enough how wonderful this entire staff is! My dog Roxy is a pound dog. When we got her over 8yrs ago she was abused and abandoned. She is afraid of every one and because she is a boxer, lab, chow and pit mix, her bark is loud and scary. But the entire staff at Springfield Animal Hospital are very patience with her and they do everything in their will power to make sure she and my family are calm and safe. I wouldn't take my pet anywhere else!!!
