ABSOLUTELY DO NOT GET YOUR CAT DECLAWED HERE!!! my best friend took her kitty, archibold and had nothing but issues with her experience. she went into the office for shots asking about a declaw and all they were worried about was getting him in and never once said anything about the risks, with him being almost a year and a half old, weighing 13 pounds (which she now knows is too old and too heavy to be walking around on in any good vets opinion). so, she got them removed on a friday, was asked to be brought back on a monday and she couldn’t because she had to work (like most people with regular jobs) and he wasn’t willing to come in a little early, like 15 min just to check little archie. so he was brought the next day, saturday, and of course the kitty was scared and in pain, well he jumped off the table and opened up all of his stitches! had he been more compassionate with him, this could’ve been avoided! and then archie got an infection in his paw because the room wasn’t sterile! she took little archie there thinking she was going to be getting a deal but because of having to take him to medvet three times and a new vets office, she has now invested over $700 in care for her kitty. please, choose the more expensive option when looking into care for your cats because this doctor was definitely not the way to go. little archie is now going to east suburban animal clinic and the staff there is literally amazing and everything is so clean and well kept up. would highly recommend them. Do not take your cat here to be euthanized. I took my cat in and was there for an hour or more. We waited for 30 minutes before the Doctor came in. When he came in he said how sad of a day it was then started giving me the price of the procedure. Then when he had to give her the shot they held my dying cat by the scruff of the neck and even put a muzzle on her which was totally unnecessary and in my eyes not compassionate at all to me or my cat. Then with the last shot they took her out of the room to give it to her and left me sitting in the room without her for another 20 minutes or so. Then to top it off after they gave her the sedative and I was spending time with my cat they were asking me for payment. I will never go back to them again. Read Less

The guy loves to get you in then he has you coming back weekly for $125 in shots. Yes per week! He will sell you on parvo shots and he will try to scare you into the weekly shots. If you have any issues with your dog at all he will tell you it's parvo. Get a second opinion. It will save you money in the long run. I've taken a healthy dog for a check up and left after he said I needed $275 in shots and meds. I took him to another vet for a second opinion. He's was as healthy as can be. We took our dog in and the doc recommended $170 in blood work, $50 worth of urinalysis and 4 office visits later... she still was fine and I regret even bringing her in. I took her in for peeing in the house, which she stopped doing shortly after her first visit without the help of the pills or anything. The doctor acts like he's so offended when we say we can't afford everything he suggests. He is pushy and even though they advertise the "$10.50 office visit" ... they TOTALLY get you with all the extra crap they want to do to your pet. Last visit they talked us into buying a case of dog food for $35 (12 cans) to make sure she doesn't get stones in her kidneys. Ripoff.Read Less

I would never refer anyone to this vet or either of his offices.... I took my dog in to be seen for a skin condition and this vet wanted to charge me 263.00 just for a shot and some pills. Then he wanted me to bring my dog back the next day then the next week and every week after that. My total bill would have been well over 500.00 by the time he would've been done treating my dog for a simple skin infection. I told him I was going to see what it would cost elsewhere and he was very rude.... Now less than 24 hours later I have the animal cruelty dept. knocking on my door saying that I neglect my dog. All of this trouble because I chose to get a second opinion! This vet is absolutely ridiculous on his prices and treatments for animals! Very bad practice!!Read Less
