I find it concerning that the clinic is mutilating cat ears without asking the owner of the cat.
I was devastated when i came home to find that my cat's ear had a good chunk cut off on the premise that he was a stray.
He's not a stray he has a home.
When we took our other cat to get neutered, he's ears weren't even touched.
I find this type of cosmetic mutilation to be inhumane and I will never be taking any of my cats to this clinic again.

This is an organization that does exceptionally well at talking out of both corners of its mouth simultaneously. Publicly, they claim to be concerned about animal welfare and being a valuable resource for low-income pet owners. But in actuality, I just had the MANAGER of the facility REFUSE to even allow me to come to the pet food pantry there after RESCUING 3 orphaned feral kittens. Her rationale was that they do not make exceptions to the rule of NOT PROVIDING FOOD for any animal that has not been spayed or neutered, regardless of the fact that the animals are TOO YOUNG TO EVEN EAT SOLID FOOD, much less old enough to have the required surgery. I will take my chances with a some other organization, one that truly believes in putting animal lives first!

I was very nervous to take my cat in to be spayed but I really shouldn't have been. The staff were present, courteous, professional and caring from start to finish. The process for checking in/dropping off ran smoothly as did pick up. I especially appreciated the afternoon call to let me know she made it through surgery safely. Please bring your fur babies here and please remember to donate so they can continue offering their services to our community.

Before getting frustrated with or leaving a negative review for Humane Ohio, take a second to ask yourself if you properly read all the instructions and information they provide on their website and emails. They spell everything out very clearly. They run a tight ship because of the high volume of animals they service everyday. These folks are awesome! And the fact that they provide the service they do is something commendable.
My only complaint is parking. If you arrive early enough it's not a problem but if you even just arrive on time you probably won't get a spot in the parking lot.

First off, the people working here are doing a great deed to pet owners. This is a spay/neuter clinic - all animals that come here are coming here for that reason. However they offer a variety of additional services - microchipping, nail trimming, various immunizations. The prices are affordable (thanks mainly to donations). The staff here were very courteous, kind, and understanding when my puppy was scared. They also have some very well priced products here - I got said puppy a new collar for $1. If you need a dog or cat spayed or neutered, I highly recommend doing it here to save yourself a lot of money compared to a vet's office, and so you can give a little of that extra money back to them as a donation to help other pet owners.

Extremely compassionate! Took me back and showed me the facility. Showed me where my furbaby would be held before and after surgery. They called me when the surgery was finished and let me know she was doing fine and would be in recovery till 3pm. I was able to purchase extra meds for her along with a cone and have her micro chipped while being here. I would much rather come here and give an extra donation then spend the $500 my vet was going to charge to do less. I'm thankful for Human Ohio... they are helping so many animals. Thank you Human Ohio!!!

Great service and great people! I can't say enough good comments about this facility. Everything was so organized when I dropped off my little Breezy last Friday to be fixed. The staff was friendly and very helpful answer any questions I had. This experience was so much better than expected that I dropped off Breezy's kitten "Lil Shit" off yesterday to be fixed as well. However my Vet was charging $375 to do what Humane Ohio did for my dog at a much better / affordable price. I have to say.....I was very satisfied with the staff and the job they performed. I give them 2 thumbs up!!!!! If in doubt.......Humane Ohio is the solution :) Just pay the extra small fee for your pet's pain meds. Thanks for a place like Humane Ohio!!!!

I had heard great things about Humane Ohio and everyone recommended that I bring my barn cats here to be spayed. unfortunately, information I received over the phone did not match the information I got upon arrival. Also they were very over run and busy, which I understand happens, and they did not get to my cats until the next day, which actually didn't bother me. I'd rather they do a quality job than rush through it. However, I was told that I would get a call if they didn't get spayed on Tuesday, but I never did. I called multiple times and left multiple messages and never heard back about my cats. Finally at 3 on Wednesday, someone called me and told me they were done and needed picked up before 5:30. Because I wasn't expecting this due to their lack of communication, I had to send my fiancé over from Lima. I was also told to check their Facebook page for updates but there was never one about their phones being down. Overall, I was very unhappy with my experience. The only saving grace was the staff was very friendly.

This is a great place for the fixing of your pets. They are inexpensive and they are wonderful with your pet/companion/family. They are very thrall to get the information about your pet so that they don't do anything harmful to them. They are very busy at check-in (getting them checked in and preparing them for the surgery) and when you pick them up, they explain everything that happened, what you're expected to do and when, they also call you later to see if everything is going good. If you feel that you need to ask them anything, you can call them to make sure everything is going good.

This place is great. We took our dog to be fixed but they offer services for stray cats which is the nicest thing ever. They have you come in at like 7am for paperwork along with a group of other pet owners. You fill out paperwork and when your turn is up you get your pet from the car. They're done by 3pm and you take your pet home. Really great aftercare instructions with the option to purchase extra pain meds. All extremely inexpensive. FIX YOUR PETS. seriously people, there are too many homeless animals, don't add to the problem because you don't think you can afford to spay or neuter your cat or dog.

Very friendly and helpful staff. I was extremely nervous about leaving my baby with strangers. Especially since she was having surgery and few other things done. I just worried about her being left alone. They explained what happens and reassured me that my baby was in good hands. Thanku!

This is an organization that does exceptionally well at talking out of both corners of its mouth simultaneously. Publicly, they claim to be concerned about animal welfare and being a valuable resource for low-income pet owners. But in actuality, I just had the MANAGER of the facility REFUSE to even allow me to come to the pet food pantry there after RESCUING 3 orphaned feral kittens. Her rationale was that they do not make exceptions to the rule of NOT PROVIDING FOOD for any animal that has not been spayed or neutered, regardless of the fact that the animals are TOO YOUNG TO EVEN EAT SOLID FOOD, much less old enough to have the required surgery. I will take my chances with a some other organization, one that truly believes in putting animal lives first!

I was very nervous to take my cat in to be spayed but I really shouldn't have been. The staff were present, courteous, professional and caring from start to finish. The process for checking in/dropping off ran smoothly as did pick up. I especially appreciated the afternoon call to let me know she made it through surgery safely. Please bring your fur babies here and please remember to donate so they can continue offering their services to our community.

Before getting frustrated with or leaving a negative review for Humane Ohio, take a second to ask yourself if you properly read all the instructions and information they provide on their website and emails. They spell everything out very clearly. They run a tight ship because of the high volume of animals they service everyday. These folks are awesome! And the fact that they provide the service they do is something commendable.
My only complaint is parking. If you arrive early enough it's not a problem but if you even just arrive on time you probably won't get a spot in the parking lot.

First off, the people working here are doing a great deed to pet owners. This is a spay/neuter clinic - all animals that come here are coming here for that reason. However they offer a variety of additional services - microchipping, nail trimming, various immunizations. The prices are affordable (thanks mainly to donations). The staff here were very courteous, kind, and understanding when my puppy was scared. They also have some very well priced products here - I got said puppy a new collar for $1. If you need a dog or cat spayed or neutered, I highly recommend doing it here to save yourself a lot of money compared to a vet's office, and so you can give a little of that extra money back to them as a donation to help other pet owners.

Extremely compassionate! Took me back and showed me the facility. Showed me where my furbaby would be held before and after surgery. They called me when the surgery was finished and let me know she was doing fine and would be in recovery till 3pm. I was able to purchase extra meds for her along with a cone and have her micro chipped while being here. I would much rather come here and give an extra donation then spend the $500 my vet was going to charge to do less. I'm thankful for Human Ohio... they are helping so many animals. Thank you Human Ohio!!!

Great service and great people! I can't say enough good comments about this facility. Everything was so organized when I dropped off my little Breezy last Friday to be fixed. The staff was friendly and very helpful answer any questions I had. This experience was so much better than expected that I dropped off Breezy's kitten "Lil Shit" off yesterday to be fixed as well. Nothing less than a positive experience. I thank the staff at Humane Ohio for taking such good care of my fur babies!

I forgot to ask a question there so when get home I call, and no one answers. They're not on lunch, they didn't answer a phone once while in the facility, ridiculous.

Humane Ohio was recommended to me by a woman that worked with the Pet Clinic Team where I took my dogs for their shots. However my Vet was charging $375 to do what Humane Ohio did for my dog at a much better / affordable price. I have to say.....I was very satisfied with the staff and the job they performed. I give them 2 thumbs up!!!!! If in doubt.......Humane Ohio is the solution :) Just pay the extra small fee for your pet's pain meds. Thanks for a place like Humane Ohio!!!!

I had heard great things about Humane Ohio and everyone recommended that I bring my barn cats here to be spayed. unfortunately, information I received over the phone did not match the information I got upon arrival. Also they were very over run and busy, which I understand happens, and they did not get to my cats until the next day, which actually didn't bother me. I'd rather they do a quality job than rush through it. However, I was told that I would get a call if they didn't get spayed on Tuesday, but I never did. I called multiple times and left multiple messages and never heard back about my cats. Finally at 3 on Wednesday, someone called me and told me they were done and needed picked up before 5:30. Because I wasn't expecting this due to their lack of communication, I had to send my fiancé over from Lima. I was also told to check their Facebook page for updates but there was never one about their phones being down. Overall, I was very unhappy with my experience. The only saving grace was the staff was very friendly.

This is a great place for the fixing of your pets. They are inexpensive and they are wonderful with your pet/companion/family. They are very thrall to get the information about your pet so that they don't do anything harmful to them. They are very busy at check-in (getting them checked in and preparing them for the surgery) and when you pick them up, they explain everything that happened, what you're expected to do and when, they also call you later to see if everything is going good. If you feel that you need to ask them anything, you can call them to make sure everything is going good.

This place is great. We took our dog to be fixed but they offer services for stray cats which is the nicest thing ever. They have you come in at like 7am for paperwork along with a group of other pet owners. You fill out paperwork and when your turn is up you get your pet from the car. They're done by 3pm and you take your pet home. Really great aftercare instructions with the option to purchase extra pain meds. All extremely inexpensive. FIX YOUR PETS. seriously people, there are too many homeless animals, don't add to the problem because you don't think you can afford to spay or neuter your cat or dog.
