Love the folks here! Every time I come in, they remember my dog and come give him love. The docs are great too. West Suburban has fair prices and all of the techs and docs are the greatest; you can tell they really love animals and always make my lab-mix, Maggie, and me feel really special and they are very thorough. They saved my cat. She was attacked by something (she's an outside cat). She was full of puss. She was hiding for a couple days so I didn't see the wounds. But my step father did and finally after 3-4 days he said something. She finally came to me and I took her right in. And thanks to the staff they saved her. Thank you! Dr Thompson was awesome !!! He diagnosed our 11 year old girl within two mins of listening to my concerns and the tests results proved him to be 100% correct !! He had to to amputate her back leg but she did great !! We enjoyed all of our interactions with staff during our difficult time ! If they were closer I'd go here with all our pets !! Read Less

The vets & the staff at West Suburban Animal Hospital is absolutely amazing! Our six week old boxer rescue puppy broke her arm. Dr. Thompson came to the rescue in such a HUGE way! He came into the 24/7 vet on a Sunday to check how she was doing then arranged for a morning transfer to perform surgery that Monday morning (He did it over his lunch break). My husband and I were VERY freaked out but the staff at WS was so amazing! They sent us pictures & checked in a number of times throughout the day to give us updates! They let us come see her in the back room whenever we asked & didn't treat us like crazy pet parents! They addressed every annoying follow up question & even cleaned the wound for me when I was too big of a wimp! I can not say enough about these awesome people! Monde, our boxer puppy is back to normal being a crazy, misbehaving puppy & it is all because of the amazing care at West Suburban Animal Hospital!! I have definitely made my rounds with animal clinics for my 2 dogs and have had very bad experiences. I lived in Sylvania at the time and thought I would try 1 more time. And so I ended up at West Suburban and I knew from the second I walked in the door that this was the right place for us. They treat my dogs just like they are their own. I now live near downtown and still travel all the way to Sylvania. It is a great feeling to know that these veterinarians are in it for the animals well being and not the $$. Read Less

We had a wonderful experience with Dr. Thomas and his staff. All were caring and professional. Our dog had to have surgery on both knees and they both healed wonderfully. We had an emergency situation with our 8 week old puppy while visiting family.  Not only did they fit us in an hour before close on a Friday, but they treated us like a long term client.  EVERY staff member was awesome!  Best of all... they fixed our puppy up!  I would also add, I felt the price was very fair! Best place in the area to take your fur babies! Each and every staff member goes out of their way to make sure your pets are taken care of. They are extremely knowledgeable and have taken the time to thoroughly explain things to me at every appointment. I am always greeted with a smile and my puppy always gets lots of attention when we come in the door. We took our new puppy to West Suburban Animal Hospital for her first visit this week. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. Our puppy was so relaxed, you would have never known she was at the vet's office, even after her vaccination! Dr. B and Terrie were knowledgeable in answering our new puppy questions and gave us a packet of information to take home to read for later.
