I am so disgusted with this place it aint even funny. I have taken my dog here since she was a puppy and always had received good treatment until recently. She got sick and when I called to get her in it seemedvlike I had to fight with whomever I was talking to. 3 calls I had to make to get something done. One lady when I first called did nothing but clear her throat about the whole time, kind of rude. The second call was with a nice lady and the 3rd call well we wont go ...there. There was really such a lack of concern for my dog with the doc after she finally got seen. There was no treatment plan given just given medication and sent on our way. No bloodwork or any other type of testing given to see what was wrong with my dog. That after being seen my dog got worse and I called a 4th time and voiced my concerns and was told to let medications work itself. Well guess what, I ended up having to take her to another vet due to the incompetence of the staff and vet at Van Wert Veterinary Clinic. My dog is now feeling better because she was given proper treatment and proper medication. The concern from the new vet was out of this world! So HELL NO....dont take tour fur babies here if you want them to be treated for anything. See More

If your animal needs veterinary attention you would think to call your towns vet right? Well I guess they don't care if your animal does or doesnt need help. First they put me on hold which I totally understand but then they hung up after I waited 8 minutes. So I called back obviously and then they processed to tell me they are not taking any new animals. Like why are you open if you're not taking animals... makes no sense to me. Lady on the phone wasn't the friendliest either. Wouldn't recommend a place that isn't willing to help you with your fur babies when you need it.

I wouldn't take my pet here if their life depended on it. Dr. Trapp needs to re-evaluate his business practices and learn people skills. This is not a secret in the veterinary community. I worked there for a short time and still have not been paid, it's been almost two months. Do not work at this clinic if you expect to feel like a person. The things I experienced would make anyone cringe.

Our dog developed problems and we couldn't get into our normal Veterinarian. The staff at Dr Trapp's office have been awesome. I can't thank them enough for what they have done for our little dog.

I just want to say how pleased our family is with VW Veterinary Clinic. On Sept. 30 we brought our beloved lab Missy to the Clinic because she had been under the weather and not eating. We thought that maybe she was going through depression because she just lost her older brother Brutis alittle over a month before. We don't normally Vet with them but they were kind enough to fit us into their busy schedule because our Vet was out of town. When we arrived we were greeted by very friendly office personnel. The Vet Tech and Dr., were very caring and understanding about our concerns. They ran multiple test and did x-rays, only to find out that she had an unknown mass in her abdomen. The Dr gave us our options and was very informative about what the out comes may be. With sad hearts and many many tears we decided it was best to have her cross over rainbow bridge and be with her big brother. They allowed us time to say our goodbyes and be with her while she passed. We will be forever greatful for their loving and caring words that were spoken to us that day and for the beautiful card that we received a couple weeks later from the staff and Dr. Trapp. Thank you so very much for your kindness and may God always bless you.

You guys are awesome! The girls at the desk when you come in right away greet us and cant wait to hold our chihuahua pups lol. They are so kind there. Dr. Trapp is an awesome vet doctor. He takes care of our animals and if we have any questions he answers them and gives good advice :) if we call them and have a question the doc calls you right back that day. I recommend them to EVERYONE. Have a merry Christmas to you all and a Happy New Year!!! From the Hills :)

I would NEVER suggest this clinic to anyone. Dr. Trapp is has the poorest manners and lacks in compassion more than anyone that I have ever met. My poor dog was suffering from tumors etc. and in pain...
I would NEVER suggest this clinic to anyone. Dr. Trapp is has the poorest manners and lacks in compassion more than anyone that I have ever met. My poor dog was suffering from tumors etc. and in pain. We were not sure at that time if she was dying or if we could somehow save her. I was trying to get the films that they had taken of her (that I paid for) and get a second opinion. He had refused to give them to me and told me that I would have to pay for them, saying that I had only had paid for the services of having them ran and reading them. After I finally got Him to agree to giving them to me he told me they would have to be back in his possession in 5 days time or they would bill my credit card for them. Two days later my dog passed. I called to let them know and they told me that I would still need to return the films, which frustratingly I did. However, they also went ahead and billed my card. I had to fight them to have it credited back to me.

I am so disgusted with this place it aint even funny. I have taken my dog here since she was a puppy and always had received good treatment until recently. If your animal needs veterinary attention you would think to call your towns vet right? Well I guess they don't care if your animal does or doesnt need help.
