Dr. Pfister is THE BEST. The staff and bet techs are also amazing. They are all obvious animal lovers and treat my dogs like their own. This vet is very practical and won't suggest anything unnecessary. I couldn't ask for a better place to take my pups. Dr. Pfister came in short notice on a Saturday night for my family when we decided to put down our last dog. He was very patient with us and made the terrible experience as comfortable as possible. We also love going here for grooming and boarding and always have great service. I could go on and on about how amazing the entire place is! I couldn't recommend Dr. Pfister enough!!

Feel pets get more than adequate exam time with doctor and the pet owner gets a thorough explanation of the findings. Although their location is a 45 minute drive for us via interstate, I wouldn't consider going elsewhere.

There are not enough wonderful adjectives to describe Pfister. Every person I've talked with is caring and mindful of the odd circumstances boarding Maggie from Austin, TX while her "mom" is in rehab for an injury. Pfister is exercising Maggie regularly, providing rehab 2x a week, grooming her and just loving a 13 yr old German Shepard.Jennifer rocks and every person with whom I've spoken is just plain awesome. Kennel service has serious issues. The person that greeted me was on her way out the door for lunch 11:50AM tall thin blonde. She drove off like a mad person. It was not the way a normal person drives but instead like someone rushing to a hospital or something. Walking pets in parking area... watch out ! The guy who showed up to retrieve my dogs from the back brought out my dripping (no joke dripping) pet bed with urine. Brought my Golden retriever out first, he smelled to high heaven of urine. My son walked him to grass area where he urinated for 3 solid minutes. That is a 8-10 hours hold time for him. WOW !!!! He then went back and handed me my 8 lb chorkie dog covered in urine. The young guy did apologize for how wet the bed was. i said "it's okay, its the kennel". I just wanted him to hand me my dogs so I could get the hell out of there. The smell of the place was burning our noses. The bag that had all the toys was soaked in urine but it was dry at least. I paid 350.00 for dogs that were given back to me absolutely covered in dried urine. They smelled so bad that my son threw up on the ride home. We rolled all the windows down, threw EVERYTHING AWAY AND WASHED THE DOGS TWICE. I will not be back even for vet services. DO NOT PUT YOUR DOGS IN THIS PLACE OVERNIGHT. THE GROOMER IS NEXT TO THE KENNEL THE WHOLE PLACE STINKS SO BAD cannot imagine a dog would smell good after grooming appt. I called before picking up to ask if they needed baths. They said they could bathe them but never insisted that they needed a bath but it was an option I could pay for .... seriously... wow. so absolutely disgusted with this place. I dropped off in front but if I had ever walked in I never would have used the kennel or grooming services in back.

I have used every service at Pfister. I have used their basic animal care, emergency care, grooming, boarding and even their training. What I have found is that all members of their team really love your pet the way you do and their special personalities. I know when I have dropped my dogs off that they will be well cared for. My dogs actually get excited to see the staff members. Both Dr. Pfister and Dr. Steinbeck really helped counsel me through the best choices for the end of one of my dogs lives as well. They really look out for the best interest of the dog. I would recommend them for any pet from pup to senior care. Thanks for all you do Pfister!

Though the cats are never thrilled about going to the vets, they are always treated so nicely by the staff and doctors. Both doctors are exceptional, but we will always be grateful for Dr. Steinbeck to take extra time figuring out our Larry's bladder issues and putting him on special food that stopped his inappropriate urinating habit. Cheap, no. Worth it...every bit.

This veterinarian is the BEST! He knows the medical side, the animal psychological side, and he is devoted to the animals. He uses the highest quality vaccinations (bet you didn't know there were cheap ones out there!) He even traveled all hours of the night to help my pet. I highly recommend this doctor, the hospital and even their kennel. The staff are friendly and helpful and the facilities are better than some human hospitals. I love the email reminders when my pets need a check up or vaccination and besides all that, Dr. Pfister has a great sense of humor. I think it helps me relax which helps my pets relax. Go and try them out.

From puppy vaccines & care to understanding your puppies' breed this is our babies' home away from home. We had such separation anxiety and angst in preparing for a weekend away, but with the care and love of the boarding staff (answering my check-in calls) we were reunited with Zeppelin last night as if we were never away. Thanks isn't enough and so thankful for everything you do!

Dr. Pfister is THE BEST. The staff and bet techs are also amazing. They are all obvious animal lovers and treat my dogs like their own. This vet is very practical and won't suggest anything unnecessary. I couldn't ask for a better place to take my pups. Dr. Pfister came in short notice on a Saturday night for my family when we decided to put down our last dog. He was very patient with us and made the terrible experience as comfortable as possible. We also love going here for grooming and boarding and always have great service. I could go on and on about how amazing the entire place is! I couldn't recommend Dr. Pfister enough!!

I think this place is great. I took my beloved St. Bernard there and the staff was just wonderful with her. My only complaint would be that prices seemed a little high in comparison to other vets.

Superior service. Staff very friendly. Hospital and exam rooms very tidy and clean. Short wait time to see the doctor you requested. Pets do not experience any stress. Feel pets get more than adequate exam time with doctor and the pet owner gets a thorough explanation of the findings. Although their location is a 45 minute drive for us via interstate, I wouldn't consider going elsewhere.

There are not enough wonderful adjectives to describe Pfister. Every person I've talked with is caring and mindful of the odd circumstances boarding Maggie from Austin, TX while her "mom" is in rehab for an injury. Pfister is exercising Maggie regularly, providing rehab 2x a week, grooming her and just loving a 13 yr old German Shepard.Jennifer rocks and every person with whom I've spoken is just plain awesome. The staff is very caring and work with you to figure out the best plan for your pet. Excellent care. Superb staff. My dog loves to visit the vet's office. ;)

We have been clients for almost 13+ years. Always friendly and professional. The entire staff was so kind and supportive when we had to say goodbye to one of our dogs. Highly recommend them!

Luckily there was a vet there on call and she went ahead and checked the dog in for us.Will definitely use them for myself once we adopt our own dog.

Kennel service has serious issues. The person that greeted me was on her way out the door for lunch 11:50AM tall thin blonde. She drove off like a mad person. It was not the way a normal person drives but instead like someone rushing to a hospital or something. Walking pets in parking area... watch out ! The guy who showed up to retrieve my dogs from the back brought out my dripping (no joke dripping) pet bed with urine. Brought my Golden retriever out first, he smelled to high heaven of urine. My son walked him to grass area where he urinated for 3 solid minutes. That is a 8-10 hours hold time for him. WOW !!!! He then went back and handed me my 8 lb chorkie dog covered in urine. The young guy did apologize for how wet the bed was. i said "it's okay, its the kennel". I just wanted him to hand me my dogs so I could get the hell out of there. The smell of the place was burning our noses. The bag that had all the toys was soaked in urine but it was dry at least. I paid 350.00 for dogs that were given back to me absolutely covered in dried urine. They smelled so bad that my son threw up on the ride home. We rolled all the windows down, threw EVERYTHING AWAY AND WASHED THE DOGS TWICE. I will not be back even for vet services. DO NOT PUT YOUR DOGS IN THIS PLACE OVERNIGHT. THE GROOMER IS NEXT TO THE KENNEL THE WHOLE PLACE STINKS SO BAD cannot imagine a dog would smell good after grooming appt. I called before picking up to ask if they needed baths. They said they could bathe them but never insisted that they needed a bath but it was an option I could pay for .... seriously... wow. so absolutely disgusted with this place. I dropped off in front but if I had ever walked in I never would have used the kennel or grooming services in back.

I have used every service at Pfister. I have used their basic animal care, emergency care, grooming, boarding and even their training. What I have found is that all members of their team really love your pet the way you do and their special personalities. I know when I have dropped my dogs off that they will be well cared for. My dogs actually get excited to see the staff members. Both Dr. Pfister and Dr. Steinbeck really helped counsel me through the best choices for the end of one of my dogs lives as well. They really look out for the best interest of the dog. I would recommend them for any pet from pup to senior care. Thanks for all you do Pfister!

We have been taking our cats to Dr. Pfister and Dr. Steinbeck for many years now. Though the cats are never thrilled about going to the vets, they are always treated so nicely by the staff and doctors. Both doctors are exceptional, but we will always be grateful for Dr. Steinbeck to take extra time figuring out our Larry's bladder issues and putting him on special food that stopped his inappropriate urinating habit. Cheap, no. Worth it...every bit.

This veterinarian is the BEST! He knows the medical side, the animal psychological side, and he is devoted to the animals. He uses the highest quality vaccinations (bet you didn't know there were cheap ones out there!) He even traveled all hours of the night to help my pet. I highly recommend this doctor, the hospital and even their kennel. The staff are friendly and helpful and the facilities are better than some human hospitals. I love the email reminders when my pets need a check up or vaccination and besides all that, Dr. Pfister has a great sense of humor. I think it helps me relax which helps my pets relax. Go and try them out.
