Missing our Mia who got loose from Noah’s Ark staff end of Nov. while there for spay. She spent 8 days loose while we searched for her and was cold, hungry and out of her mind scared. No secure fencing for animals at any of their 5 locations. She was hit by a car and killed on day #8 on I71. We are devastated. She was a beautiful, smart, loving seven-month old dog and this was stupid and senseless. Please don’t utilize vets that do not have fenced and secured elimination area. This should be a minimum expectation and clinic expense. You never know when your vet will need to keep your pet overnight. This is not acceptable. Never should an owner have to worry about their pets’ safety while seeking medical care!!! Read Less

Noah's Ark took excellent care of my new cat. I adopted him less than a month ago and I have never had a pet before, so when he started wheezing and acting lethargic I was concerned. I was so happy that they are open until 8:00 and you don't nee an appointment, so I was able to take him in after work. They examined him, gave him medicine, and answered all my questions. I was so relieved to find out that he only had an upper respiratory infection that is not that big of a deal. And I was shocked when I heard the total - this was my first time going to any vet and I was expecting it to be at least $100 but it was nowhere near that. I will definitely bring him back next time he needs to see a doctor!! Read Less

Be careful of this office, I believe they sold me a package to Treat my dogs 1 tooth extraction and said it would be 25.00 a month and we are being charged 25.00 plus another 19.00. Also when I picked my dog up they told me they took 4 teeth out, I was told 1. Then after the tooth extraction my dog became very ill and after another huge bill they tell me she had Ecoli, my dog has not been exposed to other animals and I read that puppy’s can carry this and she hasn’t been exposed to puppy’s other than her stay at the vets with her tooth extraction. Also if you answer this,”general manager”, yes I’m sure you think your doing what you would do for your pets but we ,the consumer, are the exception to your rule because, we are at your mercy with the prices you charge for your service, which are ridiculous and deceptive when your selling plans and saying it will cost 25.00 a month but you didn’t tell me and my husband about the 19.00 a month extra, and we are in a very emotional state because we love are pets and want to help them. We are not like you and your staff who probably get your animals taken care of for free or at a very discounted rate. So it’s not comparable. Some people don’t have an endless supply of money and I guess the answer to that is we shouldn’t have pets if we can’t afford your ridiculous prices. Horrible predicament to be in when we love our pets just as much as you love yours. Read Less

There are pros and cons in every business, nothing is perfect. I have been taking kittens here for years for well checks to get them ready for adoption and if a problem arises they have always been willing to work with me with cost because I'm doing a service for the community and the cat population. I love the fact that they are walk in, match coupons for deals and are always friendly. A good place to take your pet because they are good with the animals and treat them like their own. I am usually happy with this vet office. I view this practice as a efficient non BS business that is there to help pets and owners offer the best care. My recent visit was with a younger vet who must be pretty new to the company. I have a good amount of animal knowledge when it comes to health care due to having pets my entire life. I knew what my dog needed for her allergy issues and just wanted to have eyes on her by a vet prior to treatment. The vet spoke to me very high level and wasn’t hearing what I was saying. She ignored everything I had stated and decided she was going to diagnose my dog with a few issues that I can say were total BS. She then approached me with a $500 plan of treatment layout with special dog food and special wipes and antibiotics and shots and on and on.... when all she needed was a steroid and antibiotics for a skin reaction. Instantly my views changed towards this company, now they were among the money hungry vets out there looking to make a dime off ignorant pet owners. I am very disappointed with this shift of business. I will now be looking for a new practice to bring my dogs and recommend to friends and family who are just trying to do what’s best for their pets without taking out a second mortgage. Read Less

"We treat Your Pets Like Our Own," is a JOKE! We now have a $2500 dog bill and no dog!! Our puppy had surgery at West Chester location and died 1 and half weeks later from complications. He was at the vet more than he was at home. They performed the surgery that we entrusted them with and now we are without our pet. The dog developed pancreatitis, then a perforation, which led to fluid in the abdomen, which then killed our 1 1/2 year old puppy. The vets only want your money and can care less about your dead dog. We have a massive bill and no dog! They apologize and give you every excuse in the book on why everything went down hill. They are not professional, they give you options, instead of giving an educated and professional point of view. They will lie and cover everyone in the facility, so they are not held responsible for a mistake they made. DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG TO THIS LOCATION, unless you want a dead dog!!! Do not let the General Manager fool you, because he could care less, as well. I do not believe that this was at all our fault and that Noah's Ark Animal Clinic should be held reliable for a dog who was otherwise healthy and young!! I do not want to hear your BS and I want someone to pay the bill that we now have for your mistake. You guys killed the dog and now we our left with only memories. Read Less

Please do not take your pet to Noah's Ark Animal Clinic of West Chester!! Our 15 month old Boxer passed away due to complications from a surgery they performed at this location. He was otherwise a young, healthy puppy and now he is dead! They left us with a $2500 bill and memories of our dog. We are heart broken and cannot believe that such "Non-experienced"vets would have any business taking care of animals. Our dog had nothing but complications after surgery, was a critical patient and should have been taken care of. We trusted them, we gave them our pet to take good care of and return, the same way we left him. I had to go back and see him dead and it broke my heart. I want them to admit they were wrong and pay the bill. DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE AND MAKE THIS YOUR VET! Read Less

"We treat your pets like our own" is a myth. My last visit to this clinic on Monday was a real disappointment. Two weeks before my chihuahua had been diagnosed with an enlarged heart and was on heart medication. On Monday I took him in because he started having mild labored breathing. The vet wanted to check his red blood cell count. They took him to the back for the test. The vet tech came back to tell me the blood count was normal and they were sending me home with a renewal prescription of diuretic, another prescription with a different dosage for prednisone and a $23 syringe of diagel. I asked the vet tech several questions regarding the prescriptions which she didn't have the answers and she had to go back to ask the vet. The vet never came back to confer with me in discussing the breathing issues or to answer my questions. I was the only client in the whole office so I didn't understand why he couldn't take the time to speak with me. I left believing the syringe full was to help with the breathing. When I got home to give him the syringe medication I saw it was for diarrhea. He didn't have diarrhea! I never filled either prednisone prescriptions because the vet had told me with the first steroid prescription that it could cause death with heart disease. So why chance it? I continued with the heart medications but during the night his breathing became more labored and was coughing. I rushed him to my closest Animal Care Center where he died from a heart aneurysm. I was devastated. I had known his time was coming to an end so that is not my complaint. I am dissatisfied the vet didn't come back to answer my questions or address the breathing issues and I paid for medication that had nothing to do with why I was there. When I called the West Chester clinic to let them know of Buster's death, I was left with feeling like I was being a bother to the receptionist. Read Less

Took my dogs to the West Chester Location for a check up. My little pup Ava had a spot on her hip that would not go away, they checked it and said it was just a cyst and it would go away on it's own. After a fast check of it how do you know this? I took her to my groomer the next week or so and she said You really should get that looked at because I think it's cancer, Mast Cell cancer because my dog has the same thing. So I went to another vet and sure enough it was cancer that they removed. Mast Cell is not good in dogs so here we are 5 months later with the cancer back and having to put our baby down at 3 years old. Would it have made a difference if they had caught it sooner? We will never know but do not trust these people to skim over your concerns or you could end up like us with a very sick dog that we now will be mourning thanks to them. Read Less

The vet is really nice but beware when you go there! I went in and checked in with the receptionist and told her that I only wanted my dogs to have shots, nothing else. I reiterated that when my dogs were back in the room. So, when they took them out of the room, I thought they were only doing the shots. I go to pay and instead of my bill being around 80, which would be the price of four shots, it was 150. I asked why it was so expensive and they start naming these other things that they did, which I didn’t ask for. So because of their mistake, I ended up having to extra. They don’t have good customer service! I shouldn’t have had to pay for their mistake! Read Less

Don't try to make a appointment because there booked up for months when you need ear cropping but if it's other things they can get you right in they do that so you get over the 16 week marker so they can charge u more. I have been using Animal Ark for awhile I am part of the wellness plan also ...and was happy with it , but last October, my dog had a weird cough ,and I kept getting an email that she was due for a focused exam , well I took her for that exam and to see what was with the cough she had for couple of days . first of all nobody knew what was the so called focused exam when I asked , well when they heard the cough I was told it was kennel cough ( my dog had the vaccine good till April 2017 , this was October 2016) they took sample for the test , and told me will let me know the following day , plus gave me some meds to treat it, I was told not to worry vaccine company will pay for the cost of treatment , (but anyway I was charged for some stuff ) well after I went home and started the meds my dog got worst , waited couple of days and no call about results , so I called and they didn't find any results in my file ( yes that was disappointing) ...and I told them will bring her back because she was worst , i was seen by a different Vet ,they put a shot and changed a medication , i paid again but there was some amount extra ...but was told again vaccine company would take care , I talked to someone named Christine , who a that time was very polite and told me not to worry . My third visit was same week and finally I was told the test never was done ( they didn't know for sure if was kennel cough) this was frustrating my dog was worst and taking meds that was making her worst !! Finally the last vet ( yes another different than the other 2) ...took an X-ray and found few things ( definitely no Kennel cough) and refer her to another facility for an study they didn't have the machines there , again the people at the front desk wanted to charge me the balance i was told before not to pay , because vaccine company will take care of it , so again Christine who was there explained them what was going on ,and I just paid for what was done that day $94 something...I made the appointment in the other place ,and finally got answers it cost me over $1,000 but is ok , i know finally what she has and she is doing ok . But now ..1/3 /2017 ,I got a bill from Noah's ark with late fee and all ( I never got any previously) plus that was the charge I was told not to worry vaccine company would take care ... I called and explained all this , but the not so nice Christine now , is changing her story and told me ,my only option is to pay or my dog ever would get treatment there ... I got all the papers and receipts . Was trying to reach corporate office to let them know about this , but no luck seems it doesn't exist . I am very angry and frustrated about this , they made my dog sicker , was there 3 times in a week and all meds they prescribed are sitting in my house because she only took them 2 or 3 times , plus after 3 months they are sending me a bill for a charge I didn't suppose to worry ?! They are very rude and unprofessional at the West Chester location.. We took my 1 year old pit bull to them for an ear infection and they ended up telling me I had to get a parvo test done because she was behind on shots. She was not showing any symptoms of parvo except she had a watery bowel movement once and she didn't eat for 1 full day. She was not throwing up nor did she have a fever and there was no blood in her poo.. We agreed to let them do a parvo test which they came back and said it was POSITIVE for parvo and they gave me a $271 bill to treat her for parvo which was 2 shots, 1 was antibiotics and the other was medication to keep her from vomiting and then a bag of IV fluids to give her daily to keep her hydrated. I took her home and by the next day she was feeling better. She was eating and drinking and no longer had watery poo and she was urinating normally so I only gave her the IV fluids for 1 day since she seemed totally fine.. It's been 5 days now and she's been fine every since except for her ear is still red because they refused to give me medicine for her ear which was the whole reason I took her there.. I've been doing a lot of research online about parvo and according to everything that I've read she should've been deathly ill and she never experienced anything like that.. Two days after I had her in there I called to ask a few questions about my dog and if I had to give her the IV fluids if she was drinking and not throwing up and they were supposed to call me back and they never did.. I love my dog and I would do anything I could to keep her healthy but I feel like they might have lied to me just to get more money because I don't believe my dog ever had parvo and if she really did wouldn't they have called me back when I called them with concerns considering that is such a deadly disease.. I don't know about any of the other locations but I definitely would not recommend the West Chester location.. Especially if you are behind on shots.. Read Less

We decided to go on vacation in Florida even though we have never been away from our diabetic beagle longer than a few days... I visited a vet's office/kennel in West Chester who assured me my dogs would be well taken care of. Two days into our vacation, I was receiving calls from the office telling me that my beagle would not eat so they were withholding her insulin. After days of not receiving her insulin, she became extremely lethargic due to developing pancreatitis. She had to be hospitalized and put on an IV... We flew out of Florida two days early because we didn't want our dog to die without us with her. The condition my dogs were in when we got them was totally unacceptable!! Noah's Ark in West Chester has taken care of my beagle, Alice, since she was first diagnosed with diabetes so we rushed her there as soon as we picked her up. She was hospitalized at Noah's Ark for four days and I honestly believe she is still with us because of the care she received from them. From the vet, Dr. Rhodes, to the caring vet techs that took care of her, I could not have asked for better care!! They allowed us to visit her a couple times a day even though they were busy taking care of other pets!! Alice is still not out of the woods yet but she is now home with us and we are just taking it day by day. I would highly recommend Noah's Ark of West Chester to anyone looking for a vet clinic that truly cares about your fur babies!!! Read Less

Avoid this place! They DON'T CARE about your pet!  I would strongly advise NOT going to this animal clinic. They are the worst that I've been to in 15 years. What pushed me over the edge to take my pup to a different vet was waiting for over 2 hours on a Sat to see the vet, who spent a whopping 3 minutes looking at my dog. Her attitude was as if she was bothered by looking at my pup.  And after all said and done I get a bill for 130 dollars and my dog still is not cured.  As a matter of fact his condition has gotten worse. Additionally, my pup gets issued a prescription that I find out is rare after trying to fill it at Kroger. None of their pharmacies had the medication.  Finally, this clinic advised that I would be getting a call from a pharmacy for another type of prescription. Evidently they order this particular med from a certain pharmacy that mails the medication to you.  Well, one month plus later and 2 phone calls to this animal clinc, needless to say, I never got that "call". So much for CAR ING Noah's Ark!!!  At the end of the day, my dog is still sick and this place doesn't care at all! Read Less

Ok, so this is a sister site to Colerain Animal Clinic which is pretty awful and I won't take my animals too but for some reason I think the West Chester location is different. The prices are very reasonable and my animals have been treated well there. My dog used to have a membership with the Banfield clinics and one day he stopped eating and was super sick (he's a big foodie so not eating is a big red flag!). I took him to  Banfield where they did every test on him including an x ray and couldn't find what was wrong. Finally it was recommended to go to a super expensive ultrasound specialist which would cost another $600 on top of the $500+ I had just spent on tests. I decided to go to Noah's ark because they could do ultrasound for much cheaper. I took my x ray results in and the vet there took a look at it (mind you the banfield vet had already looked at it and missed this) and spotted right away he had an obstruction. Within 10 minutes I had an estimate, game plan for surgery and my little guy was being prepped for surgery ASAP. I was sooo happy I took him to Noah's Ark. Not only did it save me a bunch of money but my dog received excellent care and was feeling better after surgery and his well known appetite was back. The cost of the surgery was less than the cost of all the blood work, etc done at Banfield. I'm having my puppy fixed there next week and I am hoping I don't have to revise my review haha, but I'm optimistic she will receive excellent care. There is a female vet there and I can't remember her name but she has been the vet I have seen every time my dogs have gone. She is awesome (not sure if she still works there or not, it has been a while.) Read Less

Read Less

Read Less

I have just moved, wasn't expecting to need to look for a vet just yet. With the emergency spider bite I called just a couple vets that were still opened until 8. Noah's Ark was kind, compassionate and you've definitely got yourself a new client - 3 patients to be exact. I'll be calling you very soon for a kitty apt. I love that you're opened until late and that you partner with a 24/7 hospital!! Read Less

We started taking our puppy to Noah's Ark for puppy vaccinations. We really liked them during these routine visits. Then our puppy had an accident with a baseball bat. :( Kids were playing outside and he ran up behind them. Everyone at Noah's Ark has been so caring, capable, and attentive (and non-judgmental--we feel so guilty) through his care. I HIGHLY recommend them. Read Less

I really appreciate how quickly patients are taken care of considering that there is no appointment for well checks. We were in and out for a well check, shots and nail clip for a 50 lb dog in less than 20 minutes. I have been taking all my pets to Noah's Arc since the West Chester location opened. We had an emergency that required stitches. The office was very busy and the doctors were all occupied. A doctor was called in to stitch up and care for our dog.Read Less

We were rushed in and out. Charged for a splint that cat had off within an hour. Due to not being provided an ecollar. That we were never informed we needed! Call disconnected twice when we asked to speak to the manager. 5 days later general manager contacts us. Still no answers besides waiting on a call from the West Chester location manager. Colerain is GREAT been going to that location for years with no problems. West Chester however we will NEVER be back. If this problem isn't resolved we will be finding a new veterinarian to care for all of our fur babies Read Less
