We adopted a senior cat, who was already a patient there. He has a heart murmur & some age related issues. I was very happy with the results of that visit. The exam, test, & immunization went well. I would just like to thank you guys for how you treated my family when we had to put one of our kids down. They get that they are not just an animal but that they are family. We just had to put Izzy down and I won't say they made everything better because you can't make it better when you have to put down a cat that you've had since the day he was born (11 yrs ago). It sucks. But like I said, they get it, they didn't look down or act like we were stupid for balling our eyes out when we brought Izzy in. They didn't say "here try this and it will fix everything for the low price of..." She told me that there were things that might give him a little more time but she didn't say it was a cure and didn't pressure me to spend money on something she didn't think would help. Read Less

On 12/2/2016 my in-laws golden retriever became suddenly ill and fell down and was unable to stand. Their dog is rather large and they were unable to lift him. A call to the clinic was made and members of the staff responded to their house directly and took their dog back to the clinic. They even took special care of my father in law who was obviously very distraught. They even kept someone with the dog the entire time before we could get everyone to the clinic. Although the decision was made to euthanize their beloved pet, the staff went above and beyond throughout every aspect of the event. The compassion they showed was second to none and we could not have been happier with the staff. They gave us all the time we needed and provided all the information that was required to make that difficult decision. They stayed with us throughout the entire process. I would like to thank each and every member of the staff for their kind words and compassionate actions that day and for going above and beyond for our family. On two occasion I have taken in strays that I have found (one I adopted) and she and her staff were so helpful in checking the animals out. The one dog had a chip and they helped to find the owners. This place is an absolute joke. Had a friend take a stray in for a physical. The next day she had discovered that the pup had worms. At no point in time did she say, which she swears she did that my friend needed to bring in a stool sample.. My friend ended up taking her to another vet because of the horrible service there to find out that the pup had worms, fleas & a urinary tract infection. My friend went in to voice her concern & this so called "vet" basically attacked her like she was stupid. Absolutely the worst vet ever. Not the first time Iv heard things about this vet either. So I went in to get my cat checked out bc he was having problems going to the bathroom, the vet checked him out and told us that he had a blockage in his urine to where he couldn't pee. She said it would cost $600 to have surgery. I don't have that kind of money. My pay checks aren't going to pay that. So instead of worrying about the cat she was worried about her money and was letting him suffer till she got her money. He was going to die if he didn't get the surgery either way so I was going to pay $100 to put him asleep so he didn't suffer. When I went to go pay the $100, the female vet said to sign him over to us we have someone that would adopt him to get his medical needs. Bc he would need special foods and medicine. I was upset that I would have to put him asleep and she did nothing to comfort me or say anything to make me feel better. All she did was stood there and watch me morn and made no effort. She basically told me since I can't afford him I don't need to have him. What vet tells you, you can't have a cat. Nobody! Then when i signed him over, she made a comment of 'He's mine now' while she walked out of the door. For what reason would a vet say that? That comment really upset me and pissed me off. No vet should say that. I'm never going back to this vet clinic. The vet needs to go back to school. Because how I was treated is how I wouldn't treat someone. I'm unsatisfied with the visit and do not plan to come back. She was very unprofessional and rude.Read Less

I had to take my 15 year old little buddy to be put down. I chose West Milton Veterinary Clinic for its location. And I am so glad I did. They were extremely kind and compassionate . My pain was their pain. And their facility was great. Like a doctors office. We were allowed all the time we needed in the private room. Other vets I had went to in the past were lab like settings. Dr. Paige and Dr. Chrystal are both amazing! They recently helped us in diagnosing our 3yr old Mastiff with being in the final stage of renal disease and putting him to rest. We have been long time customers. The care our pets receive is excellent. Dr. Theuring is a caring, skilled vet. The staff is friendly and gives special attention to every pet.
