They are very kind to my animals and have always taken the time to get to know them. My dog and I were attacked on walk, resulting in myself and my dog needing stitches. Overcharge Overcharge Overcharge. I don't know how they sleep at night. Examples: you come in for annual vaccinations expecting to pay maybe 100 or 200 bucks right?... They tell you they are going to run a standard test. They tell you you need to do a fecal test. They check your dogs heart rate and say he looks good. When you go to pay 900 bucks!! How you ask.....Apparently they took a drop of blood and have a high school kid look at automatic readout on machine for the "blood test" which I wouldn't have done if I knew it was going to cost well over 100 bucks. Then the fecal test: I have spoked with others and apparently they either charge for the same type of read out as blood test if you bring poop in. In my case I didn't even bring in dog poop and said no to test... solution "charge me anyway" but they give me tubes that I can take home and bring back to put in same machine but now they have their money whether I bring the tubes back or not. Then the vet visit.... They literally pet my dog, listened to the heart with a stethoscope, and said looks good then gave the shots which is the only reason I was there. 5 minute visit maybe 10 minutes if I am generous... price another 150 bucks. Add the price of the shots. Oh by the way they have missed a key issue with my pet so I had to go to another vet. If you have money to burn call me and ill take it and tell you your dog is fine. Don't go here.. They were nice when I am there and always smile but I would smile too if I was getting that much money for that little work. Done Read Less

Going to the vet has typically been a very stressful experience for me, but she is so good with my cats and she is equally as kind to people as well. We love Dr. Dan Bishop and the staff at My Vet! My husband and I had a poor experience with our last vet in Dublin, so when we moved over to Westerville we began looking for a new vet. A friend recommended My Vet so I did my own research as well and I knew from my first phone call with Wendy that we had hit the jackpot! Dr. Dan spent time understanding the concerns we had for our 1 year old Boxer, Mia, and gave us peace of mind. He even followed up a week or so later to check in. All 3 Doctors are wonderful and kind. They call to follow up and seems sincerely interested in the health of each pet. They take as much time as needed as well. I have, unfortunately had to use the emergency line multiple times and they answer immediately and never come off as an inconvenience. They take excellent care of our dog Wesson! He absolutely loves Amanda the vet tech... she does amazing with nervous pups. Our dog is prone to getting into everything (lab/border collie) and has pancreatitis that can flare up easily. I'm new to the area and I'm from a small town, I recently had a client tell me how amazing this place is so I had to see for myself, instead of driving an hour to my regular vet I decided to check this place out and they go above and beyond your expectations! My dog gets very nervous and hates meeting new people, they made him feel so comfortable at his first visit he was so happy and I know he will be just fine coming back! My last vet I went to he was always so scared to go back. My dog has developed skin allergies and the doctor herself even called me a week later to check in! I was so happy about that, she takes time out of her day for her clients! The doctors and assistants are very educated and so friendly and they care about you and your pet! Early one morning, our cat was in great pain, and we needed to get him in on very short notice. After calling the vet we've used for years, we were told we'd have to wait until the end of the day for an appointment. So we called around to several places, only to be told the same thing or worse. Then we called My Vet Animal Hospital in Westerville. They told us to come right it, and Dr. Bishop examined our cat immediately. Not only did we appreciate My Vet's quick service, we were really impressed with their broad in-house testing capability, which was matched by their friendly and caring attitude. It was determined our cat needed to stay the night, and when we picked him up the next day, Dr. Bishop was very thorough with his instructions, and took the time to go into great detail...sometimes you feel rushed by a vet so he/she can get on to other patients...that's not the case here! Dr. Bishop even called me a couple days later just to checkup on our cat to see how he was doing. That was a first for us! We we can't say enough about the My Vet staff and Dr. Bishop. I can not say enough wonderful things to express how much I love My Vet! Everyone from the front desk, to the tech's, to the vets here are so kind and caring. I have been taking my newest addition to the family here for 7 or 8 months now, which doesnt seem like very long unless you have a pup like ours that seems always find his way into trouble. In the short time I have been taking clutch here we have had to pay at least 5 visits, the most recent 2 being emergency visit this year. The most recent vist today was a result of bloody stools; I called last night after hours and spoke with Dr. Bishop who took the time after hours to truly listen to what was happening and ask questions to see if he needed to come in immediately or if it could wait until the morning. I can't say thank you enough for that! On top of their wonderful demeanor and excellent service they dont seem to push services on me like i have experienced at other offices. I work in financing for medical professionals including vets so I see daily how important those extra services can be to a privately owned office, yet they still dont push them on you. That to me shows that they really care. Never once have I felt pressured into a service or procedure, nor have i felt judged or looked down on for procedures I have chosen not to have done such as neutering. They simply listened to my reasoning and then educated me on why they would suggest we have the procedure done, not once did i feel like they were talking down to me or pressuring me just suggesting what they think would be most beneficial for my pups health. I always look at reviews on Google to make decisions, but this is the first business I've actually decided to leave a review for. I have a three year old yellow lab and have taken him to several vets. My Vet is far and away the best experience I've had. The staff was friendly and helpful and Dr. Bishop was very knowledgeable and professional. My lab usually has a lot of anxiety going to the vet, but the way the staff treated him during the visit made his tail wag even while he was getting his shots. Read Less

I can't say enough about Dr Dan, Dr Jill, and Dr Sara. They have treated our dogs like they were their own. They have answered our emergency calls, talked us through issues over the phone, and even met us at the office during off hours. Our dogs love going to see their friends at My Vet. We've been through a lot together--from a dog who reacted badly to vaccines (and a human who was freaking out!) to one who decided to eat everything in site to the time both dogs ate a bottle of medicine and needed treated on a weekend to the time our first dog passed away and we received a handwritten sympathy card from the entire staff... I found Dr. Jill Bishop via Doggie Daycare on Mound Street.  She provides on site vet care there.   She gave my German Shepherd puppy his shots and did a worm check.  She called me personally that evening to give me the results of the fecal exam.  She then spent time answering questions I had and took the time to tell me Jett was a good boy for his exam.   She is now my permanent vet.  Her receptionist, Wendy, is friendly and efficient.   Jett and I both receive the best treatment and I'll never go anywhere else!
