I had to put my 20 Yr old cat to sleep and the entire staff was amazing, sympathetic and kind beyond measure. They were also great in the months leading up to the end. Willing to work with my wishes without pressing for extraordinary measures. I did more than I thought I would but was very happy with the decisions we came to. Great people

Great place to take a pet. Super clean, every single staff member is extremely caring, professional, and treated both me and my little furball with respect. I'm almost certain that this place charges a premium over smaller clinics, but I'm also certain that it is worth it for me. I was also able to make an appointment and get in on the same day.
Regarding prices, they are very upfront with everything, and gave options and recommendations on what steps to take for treatment. If cats could give a thumbs up, I think mine would. Instead, she's yelling at me because the blinds aren't open to her liking.

I just moved to the west side and needed to get my 8 month old Poppy spayed and up to date on her shots. The office was small and friendly and everyone made me feel comfortable and not rushed at all. Poppy had a hernia repair at the same time as her spay and they did an amazing job! They even called the next day to check up on her. I highly recommend this office!

Became customers at WAH in December 2016 when we got two new puppies. Everyone here is amazing. Staff at the front desk, techs, and Doctors are all so wonderful. I find comfort knowing and feeling like everyone here really cares about my dogs. You can't put a price on this feeling. I would highly recommend them.

Saw Dr. Rex. Today was my first time at Westlake Animal Hospital. Both her and Krista ( her tech or assistant ) were thorough in exam and in explaining answers to my questions about my new puppy. In addition to the exam, both offered guidance in training and seemed to have a good knowledge of the breed ( giant schnauzer ). There was little wait. The practice was clean, used new technology, and well staffed. I would feel confident they could handle an emergency situation. Fees were reasonable.

I liked everything about your office. Everyone was so friendly and very helpful. The ambiance is so positive. Dr. Rex gave our Simon some hope that we will have him with us a little longer(Simon's turns 13 in about 2 weeks). Dr. Rex listened to what I had to say and she gave us multiple options on Simon's treatment. What I was most happy about is that she did the examine in front of us. At no time was Simon stressed. I definitely will recommend this place to everyone I know with pets.

Our Field Spaniel and I appreciate Dr. Rex' professionalism and kind manner. I also am grateful that she takes time to carefully and thoroughly explain procedures, medicines, and medical issues. The reception staff and veterinary assistants are consistently caring and interested in making the visit to the veterinary hospital a pleasant experience. This is the first veterinary hospital that our dog enjoys visiting. He can't wait to get into the front door; and he loves the attention he receives from everyone.

I practically live across the street but hadn't ever been to WAH until yesterday. My cat needed urgent attention and they were close to home and able to fit me in almost immediately. I'm so glad they did. Everyone there was so kind and I LOVE how cat-friendly the practice is. Lynne and Dr. Madden took as much time as was needed to answer all of my questions and explain my options. We were there for an hour and not once did I feel rushed. We will definitely be back. I only wish I found them sooner!

Dr. Love is a cat whisperer, and Dr. Madden is also excellent with my cats. They will give your pet the best care, and everyone in the office is friendly and understanding. I loved my vet on the east side, but moved nearby and am very happy I found Westlake Animal Hospital. They even have crayons for bored kids. I lost my elderly cats after moving here, but they helped me take care of them through the end. And my young cats do well here (including my part-feral tomcat who turns into a lunatic the minute you put him in a carrier). They have all kinds of treats to distract your kitties (my tom likes the EZ cheese) and their "cat room" puts them more at ease, since it doesn't smell like dogs. It also features a Feliway plugin. I can't say enough nice things about the folks here.

Dr. Love has been our Vet for more years than I can remember. He is always eager to make your pet feel better and ease your mind. The staff is fabulous too, everyone is definitely a pet lover and it shows by how they greet your pet when they enter the office. If you need a practice that will take care of your pet as if they were their own you have found it here. I have never had a pet refuse to go into the office on their own ( not being carried in, unless they were very sick and had to be carried) and they don't come out stressed to the hilt. I can't say enough good things about these people, we love them all, Thank You for caring for my fur baby.

Became customers at WAH in December 2016 when we got two new puppies. Everyone here is amazing. Staff at the front desk, techs, and Doctors are all so wonderful. I find comfort knowing and feeling like everyone here really cares about my dogs. You can't put a price on this feeling. I would highly recommend them.

Saw Dr. Rex. Today was my first time at Westlake Animal Hospital. Both her and Krista ( her tech or assistant ) were thorough in exam and in explaining answers to my questions about my new puppy. In addition to the exam, both offered guidance in training and seemed to have a good knowledge of the breed ( giant schnauzer ). There was little wait. The practice was clean, used new technology, and well staffed. I would feel confident they could handle an emergency situation. Fees were reasonable.

I liked everything about your office. Everyone was so friendly and very helpful. The ambiance is so positive. Dr. Rex gave our Simon some hope that we will have him with us a little longer(Simon's turns 13 in about 2 weeks). Dr. Rex listened to what I had to say and she gave us multiple options on Simon's treatment. What I was most happy about is that she did the examine in front of us. At no time was Simon stressed. I definitely will recommend this place to everyone I know with pets.

Our Field Spaniel and I appreciate Dr. Rex' professionalism and kind manner. I also am grateful that she takes time to carefully and thoroughly explain procedures, medicines, and medical issues. The reception staff and veterinary assistants are consistently caring and interested in making the visit to the veterinary hospital a pleasant experience. This is the first veterinary hospital that our dog enjoys visiting. He can't wait to get into the front door; and he loves the attention he receives from everyone.

So incredibly happy we've found this practice! Everyone is wonderful and we love knowing that our fur babies are receiving the best care. They are extremely knowledgable, patient and caring with our dogs and cats. They always take their time at each visit, follow up via phone and email, and give information/resources. We even enjoy coming just because it's always been such a pleasant experience! We feel like family! Thanks for everything!

Amazing practice!! Wasn't sure after Dr Napier left if we'd stay. Dr Love is great, providing wisdom, compassion & his love of animals. Dr Madden sealed the deal for us to be life long clients/patients with our two dogs. The staff is also AMAZING!!! I recommend them very highly to anyone that loves their pets!!!

I practically live across the street but hadn't ever been to WAH until yesterday. My cat needed urgent attention and they were close to home and able to fit me in almost immediately. I'm so glad they did. Everyone there was so kind and I LOVE how cat-friendly the practice is. Lynne and Dr. Madden took as much time as was needed to answer all of my questions and explain my options. We were there for an hour and not once did I feel rushed. We will definitely be back. I only wish I found them sooner!

Dr. Love is a cat whisperer, and Dr. Madden is also excellent with my cats. They will give your pet the best care, and everyone in the office is friendly and understanding. I loved my vet on the east side, but moved nearby and am very happy I found Westlake Animal Hospital. They even have crayons for bored kids. I lost my elderly cats after moving here, but they helped me take care of them through the end. And my young cats do well here (including my part-feral tomcat who turns into a lunatic the minute you put him in a carrier). They have all kinds of treats to distract your kitties (my tom likes the EZ cheese) and their "cat room" puts them more at ease, since it doesn't smell like dogs. It also features a Feliway plugin. I can't say enough nice things about the folks here.

I was looking for a cat friendly Vet and I found them here. They were so kind and gentle with my 17 year old cat that he was not the least bit afraid. Their compassion toward my cat and my son and I, helped me so much. I will be forever thankful to them. It made my grieving easier. I highly recommend Westlake Animal Hospital.

Dr. Love has been our Vet for more years than I can remember. He is always eager to make your pet feel better and ease your mind. The staff is fabulous too, everyone is definitely a pet lover and it shows by how they greet your pet when they enter the office. If you need a practice that will take care of your pet as if they were their own you have found it here. I have never had a pet refuse to go into the office on their own ( not being carried in, unless they were very sick and had to be carried) and they don't come out stressed to the hilt. I can't say enough good things about these people, we love them all, Thank You for caring for my fur baby.

I HIGHLY recommend them as not only is it a calming environment for the pet in the way it is set up, they have friendly, professional staff and give your pet undivided attention with special care and most importantly, they know what they are doing!
