I was just in the office with my 9.5 yr old dog and we saw Dr.Marmaduke for the first time. It was probably the BEST experience I've ever had with a vet. My dog has never done well at the vet...(it requires a muzzle and I'm lucky if the vet can even touch her) But Dr.Marmaduke is incredibly kind, patient, and gentle. My dog loved her! She made what could have been a very stressful experience into a relaxing and easy one. We will definitely be going back to her from now on. And the rest of the staff is great as well...very patient and accommodating. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Read Less

I am very particular about the care of my "children in fur Coats", no more/less than I expect of my own care from a provider. My kennels consist of many children ranging from 2 lbs to 76 lbs. Dr. Hunt and the Center West Staff have been a valuable asset to their lives and everyday care since 2006. I drive from Columbus to Cleveland for their routine/emergency care (2 hour drive).The availability of extended hours during the week and on call service over the weekend (almost immediate response every time, when mortality was an issue or not) has been an asset. Dr. Hunt has walked me through incidents that required stabilizing an emergency until I have reached her office, these children are still with me to this day. It is very difficult to find this kind of passion. When Dr. Manubay has been the on call Veterinarian he has stepped in equally. While waiting for my appointments with 3 to 6 children at a time, I have had many opportunities to observe the entire staff. The fluidity in which they service, the treatment of each client as if they were the only one needing care gives way to their passion and "on their toes" response for both the client and owner.Read Less

Will never have a worry or a care when taking your fur baby there the staff is incredible and the veterinarians there our some of the most knowledgeable veterinarians I've come across I love this Veterinarian Clinic. This is the best veterinarian clinic I've ever experienced and I've been to a few over my lifetime the expertise from the veterinarians are top-notch. Dr. Pat Manubay is my favorite!!! He's knowledgeable and takes a genuine concern when it comes to your for a baby he is always found and answer to any situation I was facing with my fur babies.If you're looking for a new veterinarian don't hesitate make an appointment for your fur babies. Center west staff is incredible. Not only are they knowledgable but incedibly kind and genuine. Center west does an amazing job hiring their front desk staff. Every time I have walked in, I have been greeted by nothing but smiling happy genuine faces. They do a wonderful job making you and your furry one feel welcome. I have relocated quite a few times in the past 5 years and finding a new Veterinarian is always a challenge. You want a trustworthy Vet to take care of your precious pets and I am thankful to say I found one with Dr. Pat Manubay at Center West Animal Hospital. The staff is always friendly and you are always greeted with a smile. I do not remember a time where I had to wait for my pet to be seen and he is always so kind with my two boys, Dolcè & Heinz. Although the vets are awesome - the office staff has room for much improvement. Communication is poor and the customer is expected to know when new policies are put into effect rather than explaining them when appointments are made. If you do not explain these changes at the time appointments are made - you can expect a loss of clientele. Note to current customers - request your prescriptions be sent to Costco - you will save about 1/2 of what you pay here. Read Less

I have been going to Center West Animal Hospital since I first got my dog Max 11 years ago. They have been the best! They are all nice and friendly but especially Dr. Lori Hunt. She has always been great with Max and was very gentle and caring with him. She would get down to his level to examine him since he was such a scaredy "cat". Sadly today I had to put him to sleep. He was in bad health and not eating. Dr. Hunt, as always, was very compassionate and caring with Max. I thank her from the bottom of my heart for taking care of him for the past 11 years. Read Less

I couldn't say enough good things about Center West! I brought my cat in there Wednesday and they told me he was in kidney failure. Today, I got to take home a happy and healthy kitty cat. Leaving him there was extremely difficult, but knowing he was with Dr. Hunt and the team there made it easier. I knew he was in good hands and they allowed me to come visit with him after work. Fantastic caring vets office! The front desk staff is super inviting and kind to all animals . The vets are knowledgeable and helping. This hospital has the greatest staff and the best doctors and I can't say enough about everyone. I started taking Mr. Loafers there since he had his first accident and have been going there since. Dr. Manubay was terrific and always took great care of Mr. Loafers whenever I needed him. The staff also took great care of him when we would board him and it was home away from home too him. I had the pleasure of his company for fifteen years thanks to them and now I can say R. I. P. Mr. Loafers we all miss you very much but all your pain and suffering is gone now. I have two other cats that they have also taken care of for seven years and hopefully I will have them for as long as I had Loafers. Thank you guys for everything you have done for all of our cats and it all started with Loafers sister Sneakers when we brought her to you when she had chronic bronchitis and may she R.i.P. also. I have going to Dr.Manubay for many years with a few dozen of his favorite patients! As a breeder of Exotics and dedicated animal lover, I do a lot of rescue and rehabilitation. It is not unlike me to surprise Dr. Manubay with a Cougar or an African Serval that is a bit grumpy from an injury or some type of neglect. His mannerism with the animals is to be admired. He truly treats the patient, talking to your pet like he feels their pain! Treating you with all your options on how aggressive you may or may not want to progress at that time. Always taking the time to answer the ""What if?"" questions. He has always made himself accessible to me even when I was living out of state. Consulting and researching as well as keeping up with new progress in the Veterinarian field. I would trust no other! I have referred many Breeders, all friends, and Family members! Dr. Manubay is one of the absolute finest veterinarians and surgeons I have ever encountered. He has saved our dog's life (he eats anything and everything no matter how obsessively we dog-proof our house) on two separate occasions. Dr. Manubay is very, very personable, compassionate, beyond intelligent and competent, and treats your pet like it's his own. If one of our dogs is in pain, you can see the genuine sympathy and concern he has to rid them of that pain and get them well as soon as possible. He has even made it a point to call us late at night for days in a row or on his days off just to make sure that we were doing okay with various emergencies/health conditions our pets have had. We will be moving soon and it makes us sad, and a bit anxious, about having to leave his practice. Dr. Manubay is always conscious of the cost to us and discusses options and alternatives wherever possible. There have been so many occasions at other clinics where you just can't shake the feeling that you're being used for your lack of medical knowledge to cover a practice's financial hardship. That thought has never even crept into my mind at Center West. Dr. Hunt is another incredible veterinarian who mirrors everything listed above about Dr. Manubay. Dr. Hunt returned our emergency call at midnight not even a full minute after we placed it. She stayed on the phone answering every little concern we had, thoroughly and patiently. I have never had Dr. Thomas; I've only heard very good things about him. All of the techs are great and highly proficient. They, too, show great care and concern for the comfort and well-being of our dogs; I've seen so many mechanical 'assembly line' practices staffed wih techs and support staff who were unremarkable or just downright unpleasant to deal with. She has been our vet for over 11 years. She is honest, extremely dedicated, and compassionate. We have several Persian cats and she is always looking for ways to treat breeds with their special needs. She has been there for so many difficult times and always gives so much care and attention to our animals. The admission staff and techs are great too. Always so helpful. We have been seeing dr. hunt for almost (4) years and she is very familiar w/ the french bulldog breed. Our frenchie adores her and all of the staff. We've always been given various options for treatments and have never been pressured into having any treatment/surgery performed unless absolutely necessary. Phenominal service and care, only wish my primary physician was as thoughtful as CWAH. They never call to see how I'm doing after an office visit....LOL Read Less

The doctors on staff at Center West Animal Hospital always show a huge amount of concern and compassion for our dogs. They work together to get them in quickly especially when they really need to be seen. Duty to treat every client and their pet with respect and proper care and treatment... Centerwest failed on all levels of the above statement causing undue hardship and pain for my pet and family.
