I truly like this vet facility. They are super nice ppl, they are pretty close to our home, they take Care Credit, (a special credit card intended only for use on medical, dental, and vet visits) which is nice. We use care credit because pet insurance is not so great, we think, and paying out of pocket with cash can be demanding at times. So far we have met with 3 doctors there. While we prefer Dr. Ross, the other 2 seemed just as good. We just like sticking with the one we started with, and she and my wife get along and like to joke. We are fine seeing all three.
I've noticed about 2 negative reviews on here for them, and I just would like to point something out: reviews are for people who haven't experienced something themselves. When a company has a 96% occurrence of 4 stars or better with a total review pool of around 50 clients, you can trust it's a proven notion. It just gets under my skin that people actually take peer reviews serious and then you come across someone abusing an opportunity to write their own and all they write is 2 negative words. 2 words...thats it? No explanation? I wouldn't be surprised if it was some creep that was dumped by one of the clinics nurses or something. Ya know what I mean? Anyways...
We have been bringing our pets to this vet for around 1.5 years. One goes often because he came home as a puppy and we have kept him vaccinated since bringing him home. He also takes a RX Medicine for bad itching, some type of unknown allergy we are working against. The other two dogs of ours do fine with no vaccinations etc.
I put 4 stars instead of 5 because I get a little annoyed when I go to the vet and tell them certain vaccinations I will not be purchasing because I don't see the point in certain vaccines and I get a guilt trip when I say no, then they'll ask again and again in different ways as if they're cheap or absolutely necessary for the dog to remain healthy. Truth is vaccines aren't guaranteed to work whatsoever. I have to keep saying no and then when the doctor comes in to do the exam the doctor starts explaining to me why it's important that I get the vaccines and I still want to say no but they wear you down and I kind of get annoyed by that and fold and say okay fine give him the damn vaccines. I mean he's vaccinated now which is good but he doesn't go in the woods or on hunting trips or do anything special really. I just wanted the rabies vaccine that was it. I didn't want the kennel cough vaccine or the Lyme disease vaccine or the leptospirosis vaccine or any of that. Aside from that they're perfect.
[Update: After posting this review the review was seen by the clinic itself. (An indicator of a clinic focusing on customer experience). The clinic reached out to my wife and I to offer remedy for any unwanted situation that may have occurred at said exam. I explained how I did indeed enjoy having them as my dogs GP, and that the situation was mostly minor and wasn't causing any heavy issues. Still, they wanted to express their gratitude for having us as a client and have a chance to offer any assistance they could. The remedy was accepted, and we continue to fully enjoy having them as our dogs primary choice for care.] Read Less
