New Pittsburg Large Animal Clinic was founded in July 1981 by Dr. Dick Wiley and his wife Karen in the community of New Pittsburg, which is 8 miles west of Wooster.
In the summer of 1983, Dr. Brad Garrison joined the practice. Due to growing number of clientele and shortage of office space, the clinic then moved to it's current location in Wooster in 1986.
Shortly after graduating from Ohio State, Dr. Dave White joined the practice in 2003. Then in 2007, New Pittsburg Large Animal Clinic merged its dairy practice with Dr. Mike Finney's dairy practice in Marshallville.
The practice services over 50,000 cattle. The majority of work is routine reproductive services and preventative care. After hour emergency service is provided to established clients.
In addition to four veterinarians, the staff includes: a veterinary technician, a book keeper, and receptionist.
