We had a great experience with grooming with Molly at WAH. I have two mini goldendoodles. We were able to get in quickly for grooming, Molly seemed to take an interest in our dogs, she was sensitive to their skin needs, competent and professional but still interested in what I wanted. This is such a wonderful animal hospital! They have a solid understanding of animal behavior and use that to make sure that your pets are comfortable and have a good experience! They always have treats and are great about making sure that a dog is distracted while doing procedures that could otherwise be anxiety-inducing or stressful. We have a dog-aggressive canine and they do a great job facilitating that and immediately getting him into a private room and checking to make sure there are no dogs before we go to check out. We've had only fantastic experiences here and I would recommend it to anyone else who takes their dog a little too seriously. Read Less

I can't speak highly enough about Dr. Cassie Horvath. She came in to the room on crutches and in a walking boot!! She still got down on the floor with my dog, Atlas, so she could be on his level. She did everything she could to make it as minimally stressful and invasive for him. She and her tech even went through 5 different types of food/treats to distract him so they could look him over in a positive reinforcement setting. I will only go to another Veterinarian if I move out of the Worthington or surrounding Columbus area. Read Less

I can't say enough good things about this animal hospital. The staff is amazing- they are all friendly and you can tell they love their jobs. They took great care of my boxer when he ate rope toys and had to go there in an emergency situation. There are two buildings- the surgery center and the regular veterinarian offices. They use the most up to date technology, their offices are always clean and they do a great job with communication. I feel very confident they have my pets best interest at heart. Read Less

Everyone made my cat and I feel welcome during our first visit. The vet we saw was very kind and sincere, and did everything she could to make my cat feel safe and secure. I was showed to a room immediately (where we did wait for a while) but that is ok because it allowed me to let Stella out of her carrier, which she hates, and explore. At the recommendation of a friend I took my dog Tanis to the Animal Hosp of Worthington for physical therapy. I met Mary Reed, a certified physical therapist for Animals. She was charming, engaging and very compenent . Tanis will go to physical therapy three times a week for 4 to 5 hours for the next five weeks. This facility is clean and well staffed. I sent the video that they made for me of her on the treadmill in the water to my surgeon at Ohio State who commented that she looked happy and content and the facilities looked very nice. My experience with the Animal Hospital of Worthington was a short one, but it left a great impression with me. The ENTIRE team seemed TRULY caring, sympathetic, and understanding. My husband and I brought in my cat whom had an enlarged stomach that was hard upon our return from vacation. They very quickly triaged my cat and ran blood work, and let us know what they thought was going on along with the few options we had including surgery and euthanasia. I made the hardest decision I have ever had to make that day to put my cat to sleep. Never once did I feel judged for making that judgment call. Such nice people.  They were able to take us on very short notice for a semi-emergency with our youngest kitty. The actual office is clean, well-lit, and inviting, plenty of parking in the private lot. This place is really outstanding. I took my dog here for her first checkup after adopting her from the animal shelter. She is extremely shy around people, but the entire staff here was so understanding and friendly with her, she was best friends with everyone by the time we left. Best of all, it was pouring down rain as we walked out the door, and the staff was so kind as to walk out with me in the downpour to help get her in the car. Besides that, I got some great tips on helping her come out of her shell, that we'll be able to work on at home. I would recommend Animal Hospital of Worthington to anyone. Thanks for a great visit! Animal Hospital of Worthington is absolutely wonderful. The staff is knowledgeable and genuinely caring. They remember your pet, their history, and it truly makes all the difference. Our Henry had stitches there this week, and he's been having trouble sleeping w/ his cone.
