Council rd vet hospital is the most caring and knowledgeable vet' . Currently we have 3 dogs. My babies love going to see Dr. Redden. She is so passionate about all animals and cares so deeply as if each animal she treated were her own. She has helped us keep all of our dogs currently. and also those who have gone to rainbow bridge, healthy. Whether it be shots, tick prevention, diets, just health in general, she is always there for us. We Highly recommend Council Road Vet to everyone.

Our first visit for my 12 year old Redbone Coonhound. We just moved down from Alaska a month ago and finding a good vet was a big priority. The building and office is a little rough (but clean) but frankly that's not what I look for in a vet anyway. I have leaned that a new building and big vet offices often translates into a hurried visit and very expensive and unnecessary procedures. I could tell that Dr Emily and her staff are all about the animals they see and in just a few moments I felt that I had made the correct choice for my big Hound. I actually did a lot of research prior to picking Council as my guy has some significant issues (liver, back, nerve..and plan old age). Dr Emily has an amazing bedside manner and my Hound was totally at home in just a few mins (and begging for treats!). She asked all the right questions and figured out several existing issues without being told. She also clipped his names in about 5 mins, something that would take two people holding the dog down in past attempts at this never fun process. My cats up next for a annual.

I highly recommend Dr. Redden at Council Veterinary Hospital for all your pet's needs. She is very personable and she is extremely knowledgeable & thorough in caring for your pet. Friends & family members that know Dr. Redden also think she is a wonderful veterinarian.
Dr. Redden is also respected by her peers. By chance I spoke with another veterinarian who my hsb. talked with and happened to mention the issues we've had with our pet. The gentleman asked who is treating our pet and stated his high regard for Dr. Redden when I told him her name.

I strongly recommend Council Veterinary Clinic! My brother's little baby (10-12wk old) choc lab contracted parvo. Our (at the time) regular vet was ill so we were trying to find someplace else to take her. We went to a different vet and they refused her because of her illness. When we brought her in to Dr. Redden, they welcomed her like there was nothing wrong with her. Loved on her like she was their own and took care of her. We had another similar instance with my baby (8-10wk old) mini Aussie. He had a different but similar illness and they treated him the same as the lab. Since then, Council Vet Clinic has become our perminant Vet for our dogs. Great service and great people!

A new vet has taken over the practice and prices have just about doubled overnight. what was previously an $80 dog spay with $20 optional IV is now $200 dollars. To make things worse, this $200 op is not even laser like the larger clinics at that price. Also, they only carry the 2 premium brands of heartworm preventative and have those marked up 150% to around $160 for 6 month box and they won't write you a script to buy from pet meds. this price is around $27 month to treat a dog...insane! There are plenty of other vets out there...

I strongly recommend Council Veterinary Clinic! My brother's little baby (10-12wk old) choc lab contracted parvo. Our (at the time) regular vet was ill so we were trying to find someplace else to take her. We went to a different vet and they refused her because of her illness. When we brought her in to Dr. Redden, they welcomed her like there was nothing wrong with her. Loved on her like she was their own and took care of her.
