I love this place and so do my animals! Forget the ole' "Dog hates the vet" stereotype - My dog literally cannot wait to get inside to say hello to all the ladies and sniff around! They were all very nice, but I do not like that they take your pet away from you and into the back room for everything. I can understand for some procedures, but not for everything! I'm choosing to go to another vet because of this. My dog is very well behaved, even at the vet (no one ever needs to assist with holding her, etc.), and I want to be by her side for everything unless it's major! Read Less

Even if this is the only place open.. Do not go here. The staff has no idea what they are doing. My dog, Walter, had an upset stomach and bloody diarrhea. I had to take him somewhere and I regret ever taking him here at Your pet hospital. First, they couldn't hold Walter still enough to take his temperature (he's not a big dog) then they gave me an estimate on what they needed to do according to the condition he is in. I signed the paper saying what all they were going to do and how much it would cost. They took my boy in to the back room and did everything out of my site. They eventually came back and said they couldn't get a stool sample so I took him outside and he produced one. The staff then went outside to get it and I had to wait 30 minutes for the results. The staff then came to tell me they needed to do more tests and took him in the back room once more. After they came back out again, it had been another 30 minutes. Now it was time to pay. They never told me how much the extra tests were going to be. Before they told me the total amount the desk clerk said that I was the only customer of the day. They charged me over $300.00 for things I didn't even see them do.. I was livid but, I paid. So, if you don't want to waste your time and hard earned cash I highly recommend going somewhere else. Dr. Reiss is wonderful! She has always been caring and professional, going above and beyond to make sure my "kids" are well taken care of. The staff is professional, and they always make sure I am well informed. I drive from mid-town, despite two other clinics within blocks of my home.
