Great office until Merkey retired. Watch this new staff closely with your babies, especially with medication dosing. It's sad you have to say that about people who do this for a living. They told me give my dog two whole sedatives, that they would wear off in 30 minutes. My dog was doped up for 14 hours barely able to keep her eyes open or walk by herself. To add insult to injury, the sedative they chose was one that messed with my pups cognitive abilities and nervous system.

They took excellent care of my golden retriever, Miller. He had to have a major surgery and the staff went out of their way to keep is in the loop. They still ask about him! Highly recommend Avalon!

Avalon is the only place I will take my dogs! Dr. Morley is amazing, and the staff is always so nice and knowledgeable! We had an emergency, and they stayed late after hours to help our Laya. They were very upfront about everything and they did everything they could to stay within our budget! We could not have asked for better care or service. If you have not been to Avalon recently, I highly recommend it!!!

We moved to the Broken Arrow location a couple months ago, and I did a simple google search on the closes vet to me and it happen to be Avalon! I can't say enough wonderful things about this clinic! Clean, friendly, caring, & extremely welcoming! My dog had a bowel obstruction & had some kidney problems going on, and Dr. Merkey went above and beyond for our sweet Pancakes! We can't thank him enough for caring so well for her!

I would give more stars if I could! We have been going to Dr. Merkey and his team at Avalon for 18 years. We were referred by my in-laws, and we have since referred several others in our family. He's taken wonderful care of so many of our furry relatives! Sometimes through tough situations. The care and compassion of Dr. Merkey and his staff are a HUGE reason why. And now their great new facility just adds bonus points! My husband and I moved a few years ago into Tulsa, tried a new vet and quickly went back to Avalon, even though it' such a drive now. SO WORTH IT!

I just took my boxer puppy here for the first time, we have always gone to Marina on 21st st, but we will go here from now on! The Vet was very sweet and gentle. I loved how he took his time and did not rush our visit. The prices are unbeatable! I am very pleased and will for sure be back!

I took my Dog into Avalon when she began to limp. The vet said she was probably just stung by a bee or bitten by spider because her tendons were swollen. He wrapped up her leg and told us to take off...
I took my Dog into Avalon when she began to limp. The vet said she was probably just stung by a bee or bitten by spider because her tendons were swollen. He wrapped up her leg and told us to take off the wrap in two weeks. When we did, she was still in pain, not putting weight on it and limping so we took her back. He then said "Oh yeah, her leg is broken, can't believe I didn't realize that before". WHAT?! He let her go 2 weeks with a broken leg. $125 later they put it in a cast and told us to take it off in 3-4 weeks. We took off the cast 3 weeks later and she is STILL in pain, not putting weight on her leg. I called to tell them and the vet got on the phone and got nasty with me telling me I was not to take off her cast although that is what he told me. He said he was to take off her cast...if that was truly the case, why didn't they make the appt before we left? He was mean and rude on the phone to me. I don't know the vets name as he never introducted himself to me nor did he make any eye contact as he worked on my dog!
I lost my vet when he moved out of town and was looking for a new one. I went to Avalon and am very sorry I did. I am taking my dog elsewhere and hopefully they will take x-rays or do someting to help her - she has had a broken leg for 6 weeks now and I wonder if there will be permanent damage because of it. His mannerisms were bad, his customer service is bad and his staff is unresponsive and impersonal. Don't take your animal there if you want good car for your best friend.

We moved to the Broken Arrow location a couple months ago, and I did a simple google search on the closes vet to me and it happen to be Avalon! I can't say enough wonderful things about this clinic!
