I am new to the area and am shocked by this clinics false advertisement. I went into Village Animal Vet Animal Saturday morning for a routine visit. My small Maltese, Lexi, needed an updated heartworm shot and flea/tick medicine. She had also not been feeling herself and I wanted to have her looked at. The receptionist at the front had let me know that if I brought her in within a certain window of time that the exam fee is waved. I arrived at 11:35am for my appointment. The front desk staff and technicians are very friendly. I ended up waiting for over an hour to see the doctor. Around 12:45 I asked the lady at the front desk if I needed to reschedule. No one was there and I was trying to occupy my two year old, which can be quite difficult. Shortly after Dr. Setser came into the room to see my dog. He was nice, but not very thorough. He let me know that she had an issue with her knees, but overall looked healthy. I mentioned that she would be needing her teeth cleaned soon, but I did not have the money to pay for it at this time. Dr. Setser then went on to tell me that February is "dental month" and they give a $110 dollar discount for dental cleanings. He said, "I'm sure a young mother could find something to do with $160 extra dollars". He told me he could get her in that day and I would total be saving that much money. He said she would be out of there no later than 3pm that day. Overall, as a single mother, I was pretty happy to be able to get this taken care of for my dog. She needed the cleaning due to a bad tooth and I was happy it was going to be more affordable. Village Vet does not do financing or monthly payments so I had not been able to afford a procedure that is typically around $300 after all of the tests, antibiotics, blood tests, ect. I handed my dog over and went on my way. 3pm rolls around and I give the clinic a call and my dog had not even gone to the back to get started. I was a little frustrated because I had been told 3 would be the latest. She ended up being done closer to 6pm. When I went to pick her up is when I realized I had been scammed. When I went to pay the receptionist said it was going to be $360 dollars (no dis). I had her print out an itemized list and ran over all of the charges with her because that did not seem right. They had miss charged for a blood test, but other than that everything remained the same. She let me know that I was only receiving $55 discount on the teeth cleaning due to an exam fee that had already been waved. The problem there is that regardless, that exam fee was already waived. I asked to speak with their office manager, Michelle, who was very nice, but couldn't help much. I told Michelle that the Doctor, Dr. Setser, is the one that recommended for me to go ahead and get the procedure done today. I told her that he mentioned I would be saving $160 and quoted his "young mother" reference. I said that I assumed he was talking about the fee I was already receiving on the exam for the heartworm shot, which they had called and marketed to me plus the $110 for the dental cleaning. She said since I already had one credit with the exam they were not able to give me both. I again stated that the doctor is the one that told me to do it on that day for the savings. I asked if I would have come in a different day if I would have received the full $110 discount and she said "yes". She again went to the back and talked with the doctor. When she came back she let me know that he would not honor that even though he remembered saying it. I understand it is not a huge difference, but instead of saving $160 like he said I saved $55, basically making it normal $. If I had gone back on Monday I would have saved the full amount. I was scammed for a few extra dollars, by a Dr. He took advantage of me being a young single mom for his own personal gain. I went ahead and paid the bill, but I want everyone in the area to know what kind of Doctor they are dealing with at this clinic. Dr. Setser would not even come out and talk with me. It is bad business. Read Less

I took my cat Buddy to this vet 8/27/17 Sunday. Just took him in for a routine nail trim. Got there just 5 minutes before 2pm . Was the only person there when I arrived. The young lady at the front desk was very nice and personable. Took my info and they took my cat back. I waited for 20 minutes. Then the vet Tec came out pulled in a exam room and told me my cat was being to aggressive to trim his nails. She also said she would have to sedate him to finish. I thought that was not ordinary. I have taken him in his whole life (he is 5 years old) never had an issue before this. I said no to the sedation. She said she would try again with the vets help. So I agreed. Waited for another 25 minutes and was informed they couldn't get it done. I said that was fine I'll just take him home and take him to his usual vet next week. So they brought him out to me he was visibly stressed. They said they would refund my money when the manager was back on Tuesday. I was displeased but not upset. When I got home and let him out of his carrier I noticed blood on his right rear paw. He had a cut on the pad of his foot. I cleaned it and put Neosporin on it to stop the bleeding. He is favoring his leg. I called back immediately to inform them of his injury. They didn't seem concerned and told me after putting me on hold for 5 minutes that he must have got it caught on his carrier. It wasn't it's a cut from what ever they were using to trim his nails. Then with out any apology or anything they said thanks for calling and hung up. I would not recommend this vet to anyone. I'll be going back to my usual vet. I was just trying a new one because we had recently moved to broken arrow and was try to find a vet closer. That was a mistake. I'll drive across town. Hope this review helps stop this anything like this from happening to anyone else. Read Less

I'm going to be one of those people that says if I could I would give them zero stars. Both my mom and myself have had horrible experiences here. My first experience was with my previous cat who had a thyroid problem. We took her in after it started getting worse and a male vet told us there wasn't much we could do except put her on very expensive medication or even more expensive surgery. I was distraught, but understood there wasn't much to do. Fast forward a couple months and we take our dog in to another doctor. After briefly mentioning our poor kitty who had passed away, the vet looks at us funny and told us she could have put the cat on much more affordable medication and prolonged her life. This first doctor literally killed my cat. Why didn't the first doctor know about the medication? An experienced vet should know all the options available, particularly when it comes to life and death. Second experience was my mom taking in our dog. She had an appointment that morning and got there a bit early. The vet she had an appointment with came in and began talking to a walk-in about their snake. Finally they put my mom (and our dog) in a room, telling them the vet would be right in. It was AT LEAST forty minutes AFTER her scheduled appointment and the vet was still talking to the walk-ins who had no appointment. I'd understand if the snake was dying and needed emergency care, but it was fine. He was literally just talking to them about snakes while my mom waited for her SCHEDULED appointment. Every time I've called I've been put on hold for an extended period of time (annoyingly long) and I often have to repeat myself ten times. And my favorite story, THEY LITERALLY GAVE US THE WRONG DOG. We had taken our dog in for her grooming/teeth cleaning appointment. Normally they do a good job and are quick. We always put her collar with her ID tags on her when we take her to the vet (or anywhere). My dad went to pick her up (asked for her by name and described her) and thought she looked a little funny but figured she was still woozy from the medication used to knock her out for her teeth cleaning. After he got home, the dog almost ran away from him outside (which our dog never does) and was walking around the house whining. We suddenly realized this was not our dog. The dog had no collar or ID but when we called back they told us that Gracie (our dog) was still there and they had accidentally given us the wrong orange/red Pomeranian. First of all, why didn't they check the dog's collar/tags? There's literally no excuse for this. Second, what if the dog had gotten away from us and been lost? That's not our fault since we assumed we had our dog and she never runs away. We had no idea who this dog belonged to or its name.Overall this situation could have turned out a lot different and worse. I literally do not understand how you give someone the wrong dog, especially when said dog is wearing a collar. Protect your babies and run far away from this disaster. Read Less

I would not recommend this vet clinic to anyone! We had adopted a rabbit for my niece who is 10. We were worried about it's health, so we made an appointment to get it checked out. We were told the rabbit had stress and it was messing with it's stomach. Tests had shown up negative for any cause of concern. We were told to let the rabbit be on it's own and put away, so that it would calm down and assimilate to it's surroundings. We were told the rabbit was fine! So we paid a 40$ examination fee, a 25$ anti inflammatory shot, and a 25$ antibiotic and a 10$ fecal test. It was a 120$ visit for a 20$ rabbit, we just adopted three days prior. The rabbit was found this morning, and had already died during the night. The vet wouldn't help us out, and refund us for the medication or examination. We didn't even get a chance to use the med and the prognosis from the vet was wrong! We were there for 2 hours, and came home with a rabbit that was not helped in the least! Nothing the Dr. said last night, made me believe that the condition of the rabbit was alarming. He said, all we had was a stressed rabbit. We did as we were told, left the rabbit alone, and now the rabbit was found this morning, dead. If I can help someone out, don't go here! Read Less

Our dog was much better after only two days and the diagnosis was quick! The staff was extremely friendly, and the doctor explained everything clearly and easily and made sure that we didn't have any questions when we left. They took a cash price which was awesome, and we were even able to pick our pit up a little bit after hours! I'm totally surprised that they don't have good reviews. The only improvement they could make would be to call their customers when they say they will. They were several hours late calling us one day, and we had to call them the next day because we still hadn't heard from them. But I give them five stars because the price was cheap and the animal got better! And what else could you hope for in a vet? Read Less

I would honestly give Village Vet no stars if that were possible. I have now taken two sick pets to this clinic and had the situation get much worse. About a year ago we took our kitten to them, waited a very long time, and were told she was severely anemic (they had checked her out a week earlier and didn't catch this) and probably needed a transfusion. They gave her other treatment and said they were trying to save us the cost of a transfusion. Then they sent me home with her. She died in my arms a couple hours later. We've taken our other pets to this clinic to be checked out and for shots, so I gave them a second chance with our German Shepherd puppy. They gave her a bunch of shots (after waiting a very long time) and said she'd be a hundred times better by the next day. By the next day, she was severely lethargic and still wasn't eating. I took her to another vet and found out that Village Vet suspected Parvo but never did the test for it. They also claimed her problem might be an obstruction of some sort but never did the tests to confirm the suspicion. I would NEVER take my pet to this vet! Read Less

This company is over charging and then holding the puppy ransome. They have charged over 1700.00 for 1 weeks work and kennel charges. It wouldn't be that high but they wouldn't take the initial 500.00 from my son's care card. None of this would have happened if the neighbors 2 pit bulls hadn't removed the puppies front leg and the other tried to bit off its snout through a chain link fence. The puppy was bleeding to death so they didn't have time to shop for prices time was of the essence to get to the nearest vet. The girls mother tried beating the dogs to make them let the puppy go. Then a couple days later the sutures came loose so they charged another 350.00. The dogs owners were being served by animal control but refused to open the door. Now they have to wait for court before there will be any consideration of refunding the kids there out of pocket costs, if they'll even get their money back at all. This company is clearly over charging!! Their fees are outrageous and if you can't pay they charge you 25.00 a day and won't let you see the puppy because it would cause too many issues or disruptions!!! Don't take your animals here, it's been a nightmare!!! They will be reported to the BBB. Read Less

My 2 year old dog had a hip dislocation and I took her to village vet since our normal vet (Care Animal Hospital, LOVE this facility) was closed for the holidays. Dr. Rust examined her and was not careful with her at all. He was patting her dislocated hip repeatedly as if to tell her what a good girl she is... Who does that?? Dr. Rust put my dog under to pop the hip back in and wrapped her leg at the ankle-type joint saying it was to prevent her from fully extending the leg so it wouldn't dislocate again. They told me (as he was once again patting her fragile hip) under the best circumstances, there's a 50% chance it would come back out. Unfortunately, the hip dislocated on the way home in the car. Rather than take her back to village vet, I waited to take her back to Care Animal Hospital. They looked at how Dr. Rust wrapped the ANKLE instead of the hip and were baffled at how ineffective the wrapping was for helping to prevent further hip dislocations. They referred me to Hammond Animal Hospital where they've once again got the hip back in place. Dr. Henson explained a thorough plan of action wherein he will keep the hip wrapped and my dog will be boarded for a week to limit/monitor activity and ensure proper healing. I've brought my dogs to village vet before (due to similar circumstances of other vets not being available) and have never really been satisfied with the care they've received there. Never has it been this bad, though. Do yourself a favor and look past this facility when finding the right place for your pet's healthcare. The place is dirty, smelly, and, at least in the case of Dr. Rust, the care is lacking compassion and competency. Read Less

I felt the need to give a review from a dog's perspective. This is an actual conversation I had with my dad yesterday talking about my dog and his. Me: "Rowdy is really sick. He's lethargic and incoherent. I just dropped him off at Village Vet, but he got happy and excited once he realized where we were so I think that€s a good sign.€ Dad: €Does Rowdy always get excited when you take him in?€ Me: €Oh, yah, he loves going to the vet.€ Dad: €What are they doing to these dogs? When I took in Genie the other day and parked, she was so excited that he jumped out of the window and ran right to the door!€ Me: (laughing) €Clearly, they love them WAY more than we do.€ Dad: €I€m never going to another vet again!€ Something to consider is this: If your experience with the humans aren€t that great, the animals are clearly being treated extremely well. My dog is 12 and comes in weekly to be treated for his skin. He gets excited every time I say the word €vet€ and €bath.€ From my standpoint, I love coming to Village Vet because they are inexpensive and allow me to drop off my animals between 7am € 9am and pick up before they close. This allows me to take in my pets and not miss work. This coupled with my pets€ experience € I don€t ever plan to take them anywhere else. PS. Rowdy is doing much better. Read Less

I am very disappointed. I wish I would have read reviews before I took my dog. I have NEVER written a review about ANYTHING before, but this deserves to be addressed. I am giving it one star because that's what is necessary in order to post... I was actually recommended by a friend. Went in, filled out paperwork, waited a half hour to see the Vet. The one Vet took Tucker's weight and didn't really seem to know how the scale worked...I was nervous at that point. The same guy took another dog back, and the shots were administered. The dog came out. Another guy came out calling the same man's pet and asked to give him his shots...the guy was like "my dog already got it's shots...? so if there's a third that needs to be given?" Now, I'm even more nervous. When we went back to the room the Vet came in put a stethoscope up to our dog's heart, asked me if he was healthy, and then gave him the shot, patted his head and walked out the back door. Legitimately took 3 minutes. Walked out and went to pay, (which I had to wait another 15 minutes to do), the secretary told me that I needed to pay for the "examination and vaccination." I asked her, "what examination....? He legit gave him a shot and we were done." She walked back and got the vet. He took me in a side room and addressed me brassy saying "Are we having issues?" In our dialogue I expressed how I didn't believe I had to pay for something that wasn't done. Where then he asked me what I thought an examination should look like...I told him anyone can check my dog's heart and give him a shot. That shouldn't cost me $50.... He said he would be happy to look at anything I would like him too if I believe that my dog has problems. I explained how I have been to other vets (in Michigan) and that was the most nonprofessional exam my dog has ever received. I am infuriated. I told him nicely, that I would pay for it, but I would not be back. And he didn't care. He just said okay, and walked back to the back. I believe their "examinations" are done the same with each pet because I watched them take 3 pets back in the time I was sitting there and they were done in probably 7 minutes or less.... I will not be back, and I don't recommend this place at all. Also, Kathleen Scott was actually the veterinarian I was recommended for but it was the two other vets that I encountered and am very unimpressed with. Read Less

Village Vet has provided me with excellent vet care for my dog Leopold. He recently had knee surgery to repair his torn ACL. Dr. Scott who performed the surgery did an outstanding job and even after Leopold hurt it again after surgery his knee is now back to 100% and he runs and jumps like a pup even though he is almost 12 years old and a bit overweight. Leopold has also had issue with his back and the doctors at Village Vet were able to eliminate his pain and Leopold no longer has back issues. I have also used thier boarding services and I would highly recommend them because they do not just board your animals, they play and take them out for walks and potty breaks. Village Vet also offers a complete grooming service which I also use and would not take Leopold anywhere else to be groomed. One of the most amazing options that Village Vet offers is that they welcome all animals, big or small. They currently have two squirrels and a bird they are rehabilitating and I have seen pigs and chickens in for medical treatment. The staff and doctors at Village Vet are top notch, friendly and I do not think you could find a better vet. Please take my advise and take your animals there. You won't be disappointed. Read Less

Let me first say, The staff here is among the best I have ever seen. I would have given 5 stars but, well let me explain why and you will understand.  I have been taking my GSD's to them because of allergy issues, the dogs not mine. So when my bird Ethyl developed what I thought was an abscess I of course took her to them. We first saw the lump on wed night. I took her to the Dr. On Thursday and was told it was a tumor. Her surgery was scheduled the next day.  Because they are such wonderful vets, and they are so good with the patients, they were so busy it took them a while to get to her surgery. When I went to get her, I found out my precious baby had died on the table. They tried so hard to save her but it was just to much for her little body. In less than 24 hours the tumor had grown 20% and there was nothing they could do. I have spent the last three days just crying over our loss.To some she was "just a bird" to us she was the music in this house.  I would give them 5 stars because they DO deserve it, but loosing her still hurts so much and I just can not do it..   These vets and their staff are the best, they work hard and they work with you so you can get your pets as healthy and happy as possible... Fleas Are The Worst! I have been taking my cat Batly to All Creatures for years. The doctor and staff has always been very professional and have shown a true desire to make sure my fur-baby is in his best health. I would not take my little mini-panther cat anywhere else. Also; recently, and for a couple summers, I had a HUGE flea problem; after myself tying several treatments such as traditional collars, topical agents and I even went so far as to spreading diatomaceous earth all over my house... Nada!!! Still fleas everywhere. If you've ever had an indoor flea problem then you know; it's the worst!!! Well recently (2 months or so) I took Batly in and they applied a topical that has completely and totally rid my cat and house of fleas!!! No joke,,, I couldn't believe it at first but it's true!!! I will never return to this clinic. Two weeks ago I called to check on prices for getting my cats declawed and they told me the wrong price over the phone. From what I can see from the previous comments on this page, that's not an uncommon issue. I was told it was $220 per cat, we were given a $90 coupon for each surgery, and I was told they would stay overnight and that was fine with me. I really appreciated the coupon and the quick appointment only three days later. I dropped off my cats on a Monday morning and got a call Monday night asking me why I wasn't there to pick them up. I told the person that called me that I was told the cats were supposed to stay overnight and she just said "oh, yeah you're right you can come get them tomorrow." When I picked them up the following day, they try to charge me $512 AFTER the coupons when I was told it would be around $350. It took 30 minutes going round and round with the front desk until they got the price down. They had put charges on there that I hadn't been told about, the declaw price was higher than the lady had told me, and it was just overall a bad experience and I did not feel like I was informed well of what to expect. Since the doctor decided to bring down the price and work with us, we decided to give them a shot. Well, today I took my cat in because his foot is bleeding nearly 2 weeks after surgery. The doctor informed me that it wasn't because of the declaw that he was bleeding, insisted that he get a shot to keep it from getting infected, and he was very unprofessional about it all. My cat was meowing in pain and hopping away from the doctor as he roughly grabbed at his feet. The doctor said about ten words total to me, was very quiet and seemed disgruntled. I don't know if maybe at the vet clinic had a bad taste in their mouth since they had to reduce our price is so low last time, but I was happy to pay the bill in full this time so I don't understand what their problem is. I care about my babies and I am happy to get them shots, preventatives, or anything else they need to keep them healthy but I will never be taking my cats back here again, they are too unprofessional and their staff is obviously not very knowledgable about procedures and pricing. Please think twice before you let these people care for your animals.Read Less

This was about 9pm so I paged the doctor for help on what to do.First when he answered he sounded more pissed off that I woke him up than concern for my animal. He told me that Walmart sold collars and to put pressure on the wound, then said "good luck" and hung up. Have you ever tried to touch an angry post surgery kitten? I almost needed stitches by then end of it and it only made her bleeding worse. I ended up rushing her to the Emergency Animal Center over on 41st. They had to keep her overnight and re-do the stitching. Needless to say I am never going back here. Why be a vet when you are going to blow off an 8 month old kitten almost bleeding to death? Do not go here....they are unprofessional and over-priced. I have always taken my two Chihuahua's elsewhere, but in the middle of winter my female was pregnant, as was I, and I needed somewhere closer. I took her in for an x-ray ONLY to see how many babies we were expecting....they talked me into this package that would include all her shots and boosters for a year, plus give me 20% off any other services needed. Since she's a small dog and could need help with the pregnancy I agreed. Low and behold, that initial visit was almost $600.00!! The package was only $175.00. They will charge you for ANYTHING! They also gave me a pager number for an emergency since she was due to give birth any day. When she did go into labor there were complications. We began paging the vet around 3 in the morning....no one ever called us back until 6 am. At that point the puppy was dead. Thanks for your help Village Vet. Then I began getting e-mails that it was time for her booster or rabies shot or heart worm medication....and yet every time I went in they wanted to charge me! Isn't this what I prepaid for??? They could never give me a straight answer, I always had to argue....ridiculous. They could never produce any sort of paperwork to show exactly what had been paid for. In addition to this, when you go in, even if you are the only one in there, you will wait forever before anyone acknowledges you. Then you will wait again forever before they take you back. This place is a joke. Read Less

Deception David D. 1 Village Vet Animal Clinic Pc Very disappointed, we moved here from out of state and just hand picked it from the directory, I did read some negatives but went anyway thinking it was just disgruntled patients being in customer service for over 30 years you get it all. We had rescued a little dog from someone moving and took him in, 1st $150 for an annual exam that turned into over $500 plus 2 days to stay all day for treatment. Then come to find out we were overcharged so the next 2 visits were free, ok can accept that, mistakes sometimes made. We rescued another dog and low and behold, told them she had her rabies but not sure about the other, took her in to be groomed, and guess what another $150 needed and then more charges to be had. We have chosen to get another vet. Very deceptive bait and switch tactics, you call and get a different answer everytime. No communication between the inner office staff at all. We had another pet scheduled for a procedure but after all this mess, we chose to go elsewhere, when I called to cancel they weren't even concerned, my take on this is that they have more than enough clientele so no need to retain clients. We had a puppy that we took in to be spayed. Were told that under 40 pounds was cheaper. I was told that it would be $225 to have it done and when I took her in they said that she had to have a heartworm test, and another test to make sure that she didn't have worms because that would affect the anesthesia. I was told this as we were signing her in. Then they charged more for pain control! I asked what they would do if I didn't do it and they said that we could give her benedryl. They did give her rabies shot and follow up distemper combo but we ended up having to come up with well over $400. Seems to me that if you do surgery on an animal the pain control should be included. My first visit to Village Vet was quite pleasant. However, after that I thought I was in a nightmare. I took my puppy to get shots, a stool analysis and because she had a cough. I never saw the vet, only the technician, my puppy was taken to the back without me. That same night, she started throwing up. She could not even hold water down. I immediately called and wanted to make an appointment. The technician said I don't need to come in, it will all run its course and not to worry. I begged to make an appointment but they flat out refused. After she would not stop throwing up and seemed sad and sick, I took her to another vet. He then diagnosed my dog with coccilosis and kennel cough, both very serious conditions that can be fatal in young small puppies if untreated. Also, she had worms. I then called Village Vet to get my money for the stool analysis back since they obviously did not perform this service. They stated they did the test and I can have store credit. I do not feel comfortable bringing my dog back to this place so I don't want to have credit, but my money back. For all the other services, I do not mind paying, only the one they obviously did not do. Also, they gave me a heart worm pill that was 4 years expired and when I told them they laughed about it saying ""good thing you didn't use it"". They could not find a worm pill in the whole place that was not expired. I am so mad and disappointed and can only suggest noone take their pets to this vet. Read Less

My review is not at all like the other individuals, mine is quite positive. My black male kitty-cat Louis lost a LOT of weight in a short amount of time, about half his bodyweight by the time I took him in. After many tests, and a 15 day hospital stay, and basically a lifelong prescription, they saved his life. I was SO grateful. He'd contracted Fatty Liver Syndrome, and his liver had nearly shutdown. He was so ill and near death, but they took great care of him and nursed him back to health. I thought I was going to lose him. But everyone at Village Vet helped him and me out greatly, and I'm very appreciative of that. They were nice, thorough and concerned. It was costly, but I would have spent even more. At that time he was 11 years old, and he (and his brother and sister, who I also have) will be turning 13 this year (July 4th, 2008). Louis is still doing well, taking his daily pill REALLY easily, just takes a second now. I guess he knows he has to take it. I can't tell you how pleased I am with Village Vet and their staff. I take all 3 of my cats to them for any care that they might need. The other's names are Lestat and Lacroix. I trust Village Vet completely! Lee Read Less

Read Less

Read Less

I got my cat spayed here this weekend. They sent her home with out a collar to stop her from licking her stitches. Sure enough, she got a hold of one of her stitches and she was bleeding profusely. I got my cat spayed here this weekend. They sent her home with out a collar to stop her from licking her stitches. Sure enough, she got a hold of one of her stitches and she was bleeding profusely. Why be a vet when you are going to blow off an 8 month old kitten almost bleeding to death?Read Less

Overpriced. Took my cat in, they barely checked him. He was bleeding out of the mouth in chunks and streams. Didn't use any equipment on him just weighed him and charged us a medical waste fee. Paid $35 for generic amoxicillin. Total price was $81. I suggest you look for a different place because my cat barely got checked and I'm out of pocket way too much money. Of course my cat is priceless but they are overpriced for their service. Read Less

I took my puppy in for her shots. However, they didn't have a room available and asked to take her to the back without me to exam her. About 2 hours later she was in a lot of pain and had blood in her urine. Dr. Rust had given her shots in the side & suspect nicked an organ. I paged the emergency line several times and no one called me back. I called the next morning and had Dr. Scott check her out. She was very nice and I would feel comfortable with her as a vet. However, a routine shot could have killed a 2 lb puppy not to mention a very painful shot in her side. Read Less

I have been here once before to get my Guiana pigs nails trimmed, and I was pleased with that visit. Today, I brought her in because I was concerned about some calluses on her feet. The receptionist was very friendly, so that was nice. I also did not have to wait very long. The vet was nice enough but didn't seem too interested in my problem. The price is what was concerning to me - I paid $46.50 for them to weigh her and then tell me that I PROBABLY need to switch back to paper bedding. That's it. Read Less

After reading a bunch of Googled reviews, I was weary about coming here.  I had initially come a few years back because my rabbit broke his foot and the doctors were really nice.  I was hoping service hadn't changed...My most recent visit was because I was afraid my rabbit had ear mites (but he didn't!  Yay!).  I called that day and they managed to squeeze me in.  I had to wait almost half an hour before I was seen when I got to the office, though.  The receptionist and assistant were nice.  The vet was okay (based on my very brief, 5 minute visit with him).Needless to say, the job got done.  Prices were eh, but you get a discount if you pay with cash.Inside, the place itself seemed kind of old and...dirty?
