Worst. Experience. Ever. In my life. I am not exaggerating. During my wedding, I had nobody to take care of my dogs (they were all guests), so I boarded my dogs at Regional. I gave them specific directions in regards to one of my dogs, who is incredibly scared of strangers. I told them to be careful walking her on the leash, since she would try to get away, and she was capable of climbing fences. During the morning of my wedding, they called to tell me that my dog had escaped. They called *FOUR* hours after the fact, which meant my dog was no longer in the area. They made no efforts to recover my dog outside of calling animal control. When my husband went to pick up my second dog from their kennel, they were nonchalant and eating lunch, not even concerned that I had just lost a member of my family. My second dog, when my husband picked her up, was terrified out of her mind, she wouldn't even come out of her cage and my husband had to carry her. I honestly believe that Regional Animal Care was trying to cover their mistake and hoping animal control would catch the dog before they had to tell me. They did NOT post of facebook or make any EXTRA EFFORT to recover my pet. On top of that, they told me it "wasn't their fault the dog escaped". Suffice to say I spent most of my wedding weeping because the dog I had raised since she was a puppy, the dog who went everywhere with me as my companion, was missing, and that this fact meant NOTHING to Dr. York (who lost the dog) or Regional Animal Care. I do not recommend this veterinarian practice. I recommend the Arc. Please do not take your pets to a vet where they do not care what happens to your companion. Read Less

I have been using Regional for 10 yrs and they have taken the best of care with my babies. I had a rescue Dachshund they had cancer and Dr Yorke got him through it by removing a his toe. Then he started having seizures and got arthritis really bad. He went above and beyond the call. He was 21/2 when I got him and he was around 12 when he got cancer again. Dr Yorke and dr Vickery are the most compassionate people when u lose your pets. They really helped me get through the hard times. Read Less

I have taken Zeke, my Westie to Dr Yorke for the past 7 years. Zeke, like most Westies, is allergic to just about everything but mostly grass! But when Zeke, who will be 13 in December, became so sick on Monday I just knew he was at the end. The poor guy wouldn't even take a step. On Tuesday morning I took him in and Dr Yorke diagnosed with a bacterial infection in his intestinal track and sent us home with two anti-biotics. By Wednesday morning he was probably at 75% back to normal. By Thursday 85%. I can't wait until Friday! Thank you so much for giving us more time with our family member. My dog (Indie) was hit by a car this week, and my regular vet (Tracy Patton at All About Animals, who is also very good) was on vacation, so I literally took Indie to the first place I saw. I wound up here, and was seen immediately. They were very quick about taking the x-rays and got him on an IV immediately. Ultimately, we did not expect him to make it. There were severe internal injuries (the gory details: badly torn diaphragm and his stomach was twisted and lodged in his chest) and his breathing was so short and he was pretty unresponsive. I was worried about leaving him there overnight because they are not a 24 hour clinic. However, Dr. Vickrey checked up on him every few hours throughout the night, and I know this to be true because she even called me around 10:30 pm just to let me know that he was improving and she thought it might help me sleep better. And it did. The next day, Dr. Vickrey took him into surgery to repair the diaphragm and the stomach. I was concerned about this at first because she is not a board certified surgeon (She IS a board certified vet though, and qualified to do the surgery) but after seeing that she truly cared about me and my dog, I was much more at ease. The surgery was a success, and 48 hours after being hit HARD by a car, my dog is back at home with me, walking around and on the road to a full recovery. They were also very clear in their instructions for nursing Indie back to health. My dog has been with me through a lot and is SO important to me, and I am so grateful to Dr. Vickrey and the center for keeping him alive and fixing him up. 5 stars for sure.Read Less

Very unhappy. I called and asked how much for Rabies shots, I was told $16 a dog. When I went in, I had to wait fifteen minutes in a hot room. Then she gave them the shots. I asked how much to trim the three dogs nails, was told $15. When I checked out it turns out they have a walk in the door fee of $38, and it was fifteen dollars a dog for the toe trimming, instead of five which I though it was, and which is reasonable. So instead of $63 it was $131. Outrageous, if I had known of the extra fee and that it was that high per dog for a toenail trim, I would have went elsewhere. Read Less
