I boarded 6 fur family members her!! Hands down the best boarding experience ever! The staff is absolutely a delight! So helpful and extremely accommodating! I've used Animal Medical Center for over 5 years now and they have always shown great love and care for my fur babies - prices are very fair and reasonable for the services they offer.  We do regular routine check ups, shots, boarding for vacations (and one of our doggies is the pure devil), buying dog food and even surgery.  They always get them in right away if it's an emergency and will always call after to see how our babies are doing.  I can't recommend AMC enough. I have had 2 very sick "kids" both with aging kidney disease. Dr. T and more recently Dr. Farr have been fantastic, knowledgeable, and just as important - supportive over the years. The whole staff there knows my kids ailmentsand, and always inquire to their latest status and give the kids some love. They Show true care and concern. I totally recommend I-35 AMC. The doctors & staff are very friendly, & helpful. Can get my dog in same day if issues arise. They are thorough with testing, & explain results in ways we can understand. They call to check up after being seen for illness, or after surgery. I've even msged Dr Farr on messenger & got a response, when I was out of town. That's great care! She recognized a rare diagnosis right away and worked hard to get as much information as possible to give us all the options. She was very knowledgeable, compassionate, and honest. Each time I've come in with my dog, someone is always trying to up-sell something; whether it's food, medication, etc. I called to have one vaccination updated for my dog and I wasn't told until I came in that it necessitated a "yearly exam". The exam lasted 5 minutes, with the Dr simply looking at my dog's gums and running his fingers through his coat. No blood work was done, nor any other extensive examination, yet the 5 minute exam cost $50, on top of the $25 for the vaccination (and I had to wait 30 minutes for the Dr to come in). I've brought my dog in before for a simple issue (nail issue) that a technician should have been able to review, but a Dr reviewed and again cost me $50 just for the Dr to take a quick look at my dog. If the customer service was anywhere close to average I'd be more willing to pay the higher fees, but basic customer satisfaction efforts have fallen short on all members of staff from receptionist, to technicians to the Dr's themselves. I have been to plenty of vets that charge significantly less and have exponentially better customer service. I will not be returning to this establishment. Read Less

I will just start by saying that I drive 45 minutes from Chandler to take my animals to the I-35 clinic. Dr. Tomlinson accurately diagnosed a condition missed by another vet. It required a difficult surgery on my dog's front leg. There wasn't much skin to work with to close the wound. She prepared me by letting me know that she might not be able to close it perfectly. I appreciated her honesty. She did an amazing (and absolutely perfect) job, and he made a full recovery. I just hate that my dog suffered through being misdiagnosed. I wish I had gone to Dr. Tomlinson first! The staff is wonderful and very compassionate. I have only had great experiences with the techs and the front desk staff. We have used their grooming and boarding services with excellent results as well. I was recently scheduled with Dr. Farr, and he has been wonderful. My mother has taken several animals to him, and she speaks very highly of him. I was very impressed with the way he has treated my elderly (17 year old) cat. It can be difficult to balance costs and treatment on aging pets. Dr. Farr was very understanding and has her on a treatment plan that addresses our need to keep her quality of life without breaking the bank. Read Less

I have a feisty little french bulldog and I have been to so many veterinary centers that just didn't really know how to take care of him. But this place has been my life saver for when I have to leave town! ALL of the staff are extremely helpful, kind, and respectful no matter what kind of animal you have. Normally I am the type to have a lot of anxiety when leaving my little buddy behind but as soon as I drop him off here I always feel calm and comfortable with who I am leaving him with. Ever.I live on the far west side of the city and drive clear across town, past a number of other practices to bring my animals to this clinic.  There are three big reasons to bring your pets here.1) They care.Everyone, from the desk staff to the techs to the vets knows me and my dogs right away.  They want both me and my animals to feel good coming and going.  I cannot begin to explain how well I feel I am being treated when I visit.2) The quality of service is outstanding.My vet calls to check up on my pets after every unscheduled visit.  While I have met all the doctors at the clinic, Dr. Faar is the one I know best.  He is warm, calm, thorough, and unfailingly professional.  He always goes the extra mile and treats each patient like family.  3) Top notch boarding.My dogs have tried a variety of kennels, and I admit my standards are pretty high.  So, when I say that this is the best place in the area that I've found, I really mean it.  My dogs are happy to arrive and happy when I pick them up.  I am very confident that Animal Medical Center offers the highest quality of veterinary care in the area. If you googled best 2 vets in America... Dr Tomlinson and Farr would pop up they are the BEST! I've sent them countless referrals and I truly am confident they will take the time with your furry family member. I recall a time in a snow storm that Dr drove to take care of a issue I had with my girl (Roxy). Real service is hard to find now a days and these two "get it". Been taking good care of my two dogs for years. And when my elderly dog, Stiffler wandered away from home. The rescuer noticed his tags and called Animal Medical center and dropped him off. They called and I didn't notice the call till they'd closed. I'd been looking for Stiffler in my neighborhood. I picked him up the next morning and they didn't charge me a thing. The absolute best care anywhere! Dr T is amazing. My husband and I have used her for about 15 years now. Dr T is kind, compassionate, caring and professional.At the front desk is Dana, who is absolutely wonderful. Our dogs, all 5 of them, just about jump out of our car and knock down the front door to get INSIDE. How many vets can you say that about? The clinic opens at 7:30 sharp every morning which is great for us working pet owners. We pick our pups back up after work on the way home. The grooming service is also top notch. Our favorite groomer is Carol. She is the first groomer we have found who actually knows how to groom Cairn Terriors. Her prices are reasonable and the pups always look great and come home happy.
