We started taking our cats to Dr. Young about eight years ago. We were searching for a vet that specializes in felines only and definitely found exactly that! Dr. Young puts the health and well-being of the cat above anything else. We had considered taking our cats back to the vet where we take our dogs so we could have them all at the same place, but I'm so glad we changed our minds. When our cat, Malachi, went in this past Friday, he was in pretty bad shape. She was able to save us countless trips (and lots of money) elsewhere for unnecessary tests and gave us medication that has already helped him tremendously. They have also been very flexible in helping us schedule last-minute appointments when our cats needed more urgent care. Thank you, Dr. Young! We are so happy we get to love Malachi a little longer! Meowvelous Vet! Dulci was loosing her hair and wasn't a very happy kitty. Dr Young gave her cortisone shots every 3 months for 9 months and the purroblem cleared up. But, after a few more episodes, she decided it was more than seasonal allergies. Dulcie's food was changed, and her grew back even more thickly and shiny than before! She still needs a very occasional cortisone injection, Dulci just has seasonal, but milder, alergies. I don't feel her charges are out of line. Read Less

I've been taking my 3 legged cat to her for as long as I've had her (5+ years). Dr. Young is knowledgeable in her field and her staff are always cheerful, pleasant and understanding. My family has been taking all our cats, including bringing those from out of state, to her for her care and the cats are doing well because of her. If I wasn't moving to the other side of the country, I'd stay with Dr. Young. Read Less

6 years ago one of our two cats was extremely sick and on the verge of death when we found Dr. Young. Our Lexi had seen two different veterinarians and had a major exploratory surgery before we found Dr. Young. Not only did she diagnose her correctly right from the very beginning, but she believed her surgery was unnecessary. After, a week in critical care, Lexi came home, where we cared for her closely for the next 4-6weeks. Thankfully she survived and has been thriving to this day without any major health problems as a result of her illness. Had she been diagnosed properly from day one, her condition would not have deteriorated so horribly, she would not have had to suffer through a surgery, and we would have saved ourselves an enormous amount of money. Dr. Young and her wonderful staff have taken 5 star care of our fur babies every since and I would never go anywhere else. Love Dr. Young! She is gold in my book!Read Less

I have been taking my kitties to Dr. Young for more than 10 years. She has solved all problems mine have ever had as well as my father's cats who have seen 3 vets prior to Dr. Young. She is expensive in my opinion, especially since I started going when the prices were much cheaper. But she is worth is and anytime I have a cat that needs something more than regular shots and check-up, to Dr. Young's we go! I definitely recommend her, just be ready to spend a bit of money. I believe the office visit fee is just over $40.00 plus whatever you have done on top of that. I usually seem to spend about 100 a visit, but I also have a few tests done to figure out the problem, testing is never cheap though. Read Less

Horrible place! My wife took our cat in because he wasn't feeling well. Doctor Young was really condescending toward her. She basically told my wife that it was her fault if he dies. It turns out that our cat had a U.R.I. but the doctor kept saying he might not live because we had not yet had him vaccinated for feline leukemia. Also, my wife SPECIFICALLY asked them NOT to clip the cat's nails because he spends a lot of time outside and he needs to be able to protect himself. She asked the doctor THREE TIMES to stop and they still did it.We will NEVER use this vet again. If I could give them negative stars I would.DO NOT VISIT THIS CLINIC! Read Less

It never fully went away. My cat started getting sick again and I took her to a new vet because this vet from Feline Med. and Surgery was out of the office. Turns out my cat has been getting sick because her teeth have tarter build up and also a tooth in the back of her mouth is rotten. What makes it worse is that I was just at Feline Med. and Surgery last month for my cat's annual check up and they never caught it. This clinic was neglectful. Don't go here.
