The staff were friendly and helpful. My main issue, however, was the price. I looked at their website and could not find any prices listed anywhere. Based on other reviews, I brought my two dogs to have their yearly checkup. After I got the bill I saw that I was charged a $75 dollar new patient fee for each dog. So I was charged an extra $150 dollars on top of the charge for vaccinations. If you are on a budget, there are definitely cheaper vets out there.

I am so happy we chose Gentle Care for our veterinary needs! We have brought our Boston Terrier puppy, Bitsy, here for nearly a year and have been blown away by how incredible our experiences have been. The facility is gorgeous and clean, the staff is professional, kind, helpful, and caring, and Dr. Chris is hands-down the best vet we've ever been fortunate to see. Bitsy loves coming to be boarded and has had a positive interaction with fellow patients and staff each visit, so much so that she enjoys coming back! Not only is Gentle Care wonderful to work with in person, but their online resources are so helpful (ordering medication, completing forms, finding information, etc.). Dr. Chris gave us his cell number when we first came in to see him, and we've had to call him more than once since we're new puppy parents. Not only did he answer every single time (unheard of for someone with his workload!), but even during the Easter holiday when friends and family were in town, he offered to meet us at the clinic after-hours to ensure Bitsy was safe, happy, and healthy. If you need a vet or are looking to board your pet, do yourself (and your animals!) a favor and choose Gentle Care!

Have been going here for my 25 lb dog. Everytime I go there or even call the staff from the front desk, to the techs, to the actual doctors are extremely friendly and helpful. Anytime you have a question, call and they try and help on the phone if they can. The prices are very reasonable, they even offer first discounts for military vets. I would definitely recommend them.

Dr. Chris deserves more stars than can possibly be given in any rating system. He has been the vet for our two dogs for years, during which time he took exceptional care of them. What you'll immediately notice about Dr Chris is his energetic passion and love for his patients, which extends to the owners as well--you can feel it. In fact, a few years back, when our first dog passed away tragically, Dr Chris found out and called us the very next morning to check on us. How thoughtful! A few months ago, our other dog was diagnosed with terminal cancer, and Dr. Chris was there to help us receive emergency care as well as ongoing supportive care for our dog. He guided us in making that difficult decision. We will be forever grateful for his kindness and sweet care. Thank you Dr Chris!

I have two fur babies as well and when it comes time for their check ups I will now be taking them to his office. You couldn't ask for a better person to be taking care of your pets than Dr. Chris, every time we bring our dogs in for anything he personally follows up with us to check in on them, he doesn't have his assistant or anyone else call he does it himself. When our oldest male lost his battle with Lymphoma Dr Chris went out of his way to come to our home to take care of him so we wouldn't have to bring him in with his weakened condition. He has helped us after hours and on the weekends when he didn't have to and we have never had a vet go out of his way to treat our pets like his own as Dr. Chris does. Everyone at Gentle Care is great and we would follow Dr Chris anywhere he went, we wouldn't use another vet period.

Dr Chris is the BEST vet ever. We have gone to him forever and would never go anywhere else. Our very first visit was with our, now passed, 14 year old dachshund and he loved on him like most people would love on a new puppy. That was it for me, I knew this was the place for us. Another of our dogs had Von Willebrands Disease, which caused his blood to not clot. He went above and beyond to help us during his short 5 year life. He even met me at his office at 11 at night to help stop the bleeding, he kept him after surgery to watch him, he even transported him to the Hospital for him to get platelets. He goes above and beyond with his treatments. We treat our dogs like members of our family, not just pets and so does Dr Chris.

I am so glad to have found Gentle Care Animal Hospital. I had a 15 year-old Boston terrier with heart and kidney issues. Dr. Chris and team took care of my fur baby as if she were their own. Whenever I feared we wouldn't be able to maintain certain treatments, I was ALWAYS offered alternatives and knew that money was not the driving force of this animal sanctuary, but my dog's physical well-being as well as my emotional well-being. I was given advice not ultimatums for care and knew Dr. Chris was doing everything in his earthly power to give me more time with my dog while maintaining quality of life. And when my dog was nearing her last months, I was getting ready to give birth to my first baby, and Dr. Chris wanted to make sure I was under any added duress during pregnancy. Dr. Chris even gave me his cell phone number to call if needed and told me, "Don't think calling me will ruin my weekend. You NOT calling will ruin my weekend because I will worry about you." I've never heard of another vet doing such a thing. He is such an amazing vet and human.

I am a new patient and brought my dog in for boarding from Thursday to the following Wed at lunch. I picked him up around noon and by 8:30pm was in the urgent care because he had a UTI and was slightly dehydrated. It cost me an additional $185 after I had just paid for the boarding that afternoon. I called them the next morning to let them know what happened and inquire about it because I am a new dog owner and thought that they should be aware of what happened and see if there was anything wrong with him during his stay. The woman on the phone was very pleasant and apologetic and said she would have Dr. Chris call me. When Dr. Chris called back he was extremely rude-I was in total shock at the way in which he spoke to me. He said I called an was accusing them of doing something wrong and it was not their fault and he wasn't sure what I wanted. I told him that I was simply calling to inquire and ask them about my dogs stay and to see if there was anything they could do, but would now be changing vets. He told me that was fine and that I had his cell and could have called him and he would have taken care of it, but I was never given his cell number and being a new patient looked up the number on the website last night, and it rolled over to the urgent care. His number was definitely not listed and I was never given another number to call for emergencies. If he would have been apologetic or explained (nicely) that sometimes this happens, I would have been ok with it and would still be a customer. But instead, I was treated rudely and will take my business elsewhere.

I love this vet hospital so much! The first time we visited, my husband and I brought our two cats in for upper respiratory infections. Dr. Chris only charged us for one exam and gave us meds for both of them. He gave us his personal cell number so we could call him with any questions. He also called me about a week after to make sure both my cats were doing well.
We had an emergency with one of our cats earlier this week when he got his claw caught in something. I texted Dr. Chris for advice and he responded right away. The next day we dropped our kitty off at the vet, and one of the other vets (I can't remember her name) called me within two hours of drop-off to advise me of the situation. Basically, our cat had physically declawed himself on one digit and needed surgery ASAP to essentially 'finish the job'. The vet kept me updated with every step of the process, calling me before and after surgery. She wrapped the paw extremely well (my cat hates it, though) and gave us antibiotics and painkillers to last him for a week. I was incredibly impressed at how the situation was handled.

He is very kind and loving to animals and very supportive to pet parents! He genuinely cares for all of his clients and is adamant with returning calls and making himself available even outside of the clinic hours. We couldn't be more thankful!!!

I can not say enough good things about Dr. Chris and his staff. We just moved to the area and one of our dogs got sick, took care of us right away. He personally followed up with us for a few days after our visit to make sure our four legged baby was doing better. It is wonderful to have a Vet. that truly cares!

I have not met or done business with Dr Chris and his establishment. But I have been a victim of Anne Fast as well so I understand what he has gone through. I have two fur babies as well and when it comes time for their check ups I will now be taking them to his office. After finding out what he did to help these pups I now know he is a outstanding person and veterinarian. You couldn't ask for a better person to be taking care of your pets than Dr. Chris, every time we bring our dogs in for anything he personally follows up with us to check in on them, he doesn't have his assistant or anyone else call he does it himself. When our oldest male lost his battle with Lymphoma Dr Chris went out of his way to come to our home to take care of him so we wouldn't have to bring him in with his weakened condition. He has helped us after hours and on the weekends when he didn't have to and we have never had a vet go out of his way to treat our pets like his own as Dr. Chris does. Everyone at Gentle Care is great and we would follow Dr Chris anywhere he went, we wouldn't use another vet period.

Dr Chris is the BEST vet ever. We have gone to him forever and would never go anywhere else. Our very first visit was with our, now passed, 14 year old dachshund and he loved on him like most people would love on a new puppy. That was it for me, I knew this was the place for us. Another of our dogs had Von Willebrands Disease, which caused his blood to not clot. He went above and beyond to help us during his short 5 year life. He even met me at his office at 11 at night to help stop the bleeding, he kept him after surgery to watch him, he even transported him to the Hospital for him to get platelets. He goes above and beyond with his treatments. We treat our dogs like members of our family, not just pets and so does Dr Chris.

I am so glad to have found Gentle Care Animal Hospital. I had a 15 year-old Boston terrier with heart and kidney issues. Dr. Chris and team took care of my fur baby as if she were their own. Whenever I feared we wouldn't be able to maintain certain treatments, I was ALWAYS offered alternatives and knew that money was not the driving force of this animal sanctuary, but my dog's physical well-being as well as my emotional well-being. I was given advice not ultimatums for care and knew Dr. Chris was doing everything in his earthly power to give me more time with my dog while maintaining quality of life. And when my dog was nearing her last months, I was getting ready to give birth to my first baby, and Dr. Chris wanted to make sure I was under any added duress during pregnancy. Dr. Chris even gave me his cell phone number to call if needed and told me, "Don't think calling me will ruin my weekend. You NOT calling will ruin my weekend because I will worry about you." I've never heard of another vet doing such a thing. He is such an amazing vet and human.

Dr Chris & his staff are the best anywhere. He has been my vet for more than 4 years and has taken great care of all my animals. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I am a new patient and brought my dog in for boarding from Thursday to the following Wed at lunch. I picked him up around noon and by 8:30pm was in the urgent care because he had a UTI and was slightly dehydrated. It cost me an additional $185 after I had just paid for the boarding that afternoon. I called them the next morning to let them know what happened and inquire about it because I am a new dog owner and thought that they should be aware of what happened and see if there was anything wrong with him during his stay. The woman on the phone was very pleasant and apologetic and said she would have Dr. Chris call me. When Dr. Chris called back he was extremely rude-I was in total shock at the way in which he spoke to me. He said I called an was accusing them of doing something wrong and it was not their fault and he wasn't sure what I wanted. I told him that I was simply calling to inquire and ask them about my dogs stay and to see if there was anything they could do, but would now be changing vets. He told me that was fine and that I had his cell and could have called him and he would have taken care of it, but I was never given his cell number and being a new patient looked up the number on the website last night, and it rolled over to the urgent care. His number was definitely not listed and I was never given another number to call for emergencies. If he would have been apologetic or explained (nicely) that sometimes this happens, I would have been ok with it and would still be a customer. But instead, I was treated rudely and will take my business elsewhere.

I love this vet hospital so much! The first time we visited, my husband and I brought our two cats in for upper respiratory infections. Dr. Chris only charged us for one exam and gave us meds for both of them. He gave us his personal cell number so we could call him with any questions. He also called me about a week after to make sure both my cats were doing well.
We had an emergency with one of our cats earlier this week when he got his claw caught in something. I texted Dr. Chris for advice and he responded right away. The next day we dropped our kitty off at the vet, and one of the other vets (I can't remember her name) called me within two hours of drop-off to advise me of the situation. Basically, our cat had physically declawed himself on one digit and needed surgery ASAP to essentially 'finish the job'. The vet kept me updated with every step of the process, calling me before and after surgery. She wrapped the paw extremely well (my cat hates it, though) and gave us antibiotics and painkillers to last him for a week. I was incredibly impressed at how the situation was handled.

After visiting other local vets I was very let down then I took my diabetic dog to Dr. Chris and we will never go anywhere else! He is very kind and loving to animals and very supportive to pet parents! He genuinely cares for all of his clients and is adamant with returning calls and making himself available even outside of the clinic hours. We couldn't be more thankful!!!

I can not say enough good things about Dr. Chris and his staff. We just moved to the area and one of our dogs got sick, took care of us right away. He personally followed up with us for a few days after our visit to make sure our four legged baby was doing better. It is wonderful to have a Vet. that truly cares!
