We have a great array of laboratory capabilities within the clinic, which allows us to quickly provide data related to pre-anesthetic screens, anemias, kidney/liver malfunction, pancreatitis, gastro-enteritis, dermatitis, otitis, thyroid imbalances, urinary tract disease, etc....*We offer X-ray and Ultrasound services, which allow for on site evaluation of bone and soft tissue changes.

At first I just overlooked the problems of being not up to date as being quaint. Age happens to all of us, that does not disqualify someone's experience and merit... (Even when there was a skin problem I was told "oh, we'll take care of that" and I was just left in the waiting room, and no one returned. When I finally got someone, they knew nothing about my request.)
However... It became a problem this spring when I tried to order my usual flea medication. I came in to purchase them from the office as usual, and was told they weren't carrying them any more. So, I went online to order them from an online pharmacy. What a crazy, unexpected battle ensued! After over a month of the pharmacy trying MULTIPLE times to contact Dr. Gray... I got more involved, as did my husband. We were told something different EVERY time we called (never got anything, don't know anything about PetMeds, dog needs a checkup, already talked to them...). When my husband got irritated, he was told to "call back after we close." What a disappointment. End of the story, we don't have any flea meds, and we are shopping for a new vet. Even if there was a legit reason to postpone authorization, give us a straight story and be professional about it.

I would give Dr. Gray and staff at Southern Hills 100 stars if I could. Dr. Gray has been around for MANY MANY years. He has tons of experience. He really cares for his patients and their humans. He is more about what is best for the animal than the money. He does not trying to pay for a brand new building and all the high price equipment. He has everything he needs and not out to impress anyone. He doesn't have to have the newest - he is who he is and if you have been to him, you know this is more than enough. I wouldn't want anyone else caring for my fur babies. One post comments about that they don't have email - SERIOUSLY!?!?!? That's what impresses you? I'd rather have some one etch something with a stick and a rock and KNOW that I am getting excellent care of my beloved family members. They are running a pet hospital, not a electronic communications company! LOVE Dr. Gray and his entire staff!!!!!!

Excellent Doctor! VERY caring. Dr. Gray wants what is best for your family member instead of just the money. Would recommend him to ANYONE. PLUS, he has tons of experience!

Dr. Gray was fantastic! I took my two guinea pigs there for exams today and Dr. Gray and his assistant were amazing. They really cared for my little guys and gave them excellent medical care. The price was also very reasonable and proportionate to the amount of time and care Dr. Gray took with my pets; I highly recommend him and his staff!

At first I just overlooked the problems of being not up to date as being quaint. Age happens to all of us, that does not disqualify someone's experience and merit... (Even when there was a skin problem I was told "oh, we'll take care of that" and I was just left in the waiting room, and no one returned. When I finally got someone, they knew nothing about my request.)
However... It became a problem this spring when I tried to order my usual flea medication. I came in to purchase them from the office as usual, and was told they weren't carrying them any more. I would give Dr. Gray and staff at Southern Hills 100 stars if I could. Dr. Gray has been around for MANY MANY years. He has tons of experience. He really cares for his patients and their humans. He is more about what is best for the animal than the money. He does not trying to pay for a brand new building and all the high price equipment. He has everything he needs and not out to impress anyone. He doesn't have to have the newest - he is who he is and if you have been to him, you know this is more than enough.
