We have been going to Dr. Morey since we first moved to Edmond in 1999. She has been there for our pets from 8 weeks of age to crossing the Rainbow Bridge. Dr. Morey and her staff have have taken care of our dogs for 14 years. They are responsive, thorough and generous. We have never had a scheduling or billing problem. They always call to follow up to see how our girls are doing following patient visits. When we've boarded our girls, they have been well cared for. Following the loss of one of our dogs we received texts from Dr. Morey to see how we were doing. Her compassion for her patients and their owners is why we keep coming back. We've been bringing all of our 4 legged kids over the years to see Dr. Morey and couldn't be happier with the level of professionalism and expertise we receive. What other Vet gives her clients her own cell phone number to text questions back and forth to? I can't even get that level of service from MY OWN physician. The only negative I've experienced over the years you ask? The distance from my home... I used to drive from Norman when I was in school after growing up in Edmond, but at least I'm closer now from North OKC! We have 3 dogs and a cat who have had exceptional veterinary care under Dr. Morey. Our 3-legged rescue ate a leash and had to have surgery to remove it, all went very well. Our diabetic dog gets special attention (including an emergency home visit when she was newly diagnosed). We have been provided information that makes us better caretakers and appreciate how our questions (many) get considered and answered. Be extremely careful with this place!! We have boarded our dogs with them multiple times and have never had a problem. However, they have been authorizing tests and shots we have not approved, adding up to a large amount of money. We had boarded our dogs their over Thanksgiving because we were going out of the country. They needed to get another round of shots so they would be up to date, which was not a big deal. We are used to having to give those extra shots for boarding, and had told them that morning that we only wanted them to do the three they needed. I specifically clarified it with the two ladies at the front desk, because two weeks early one of our dogs had eaten something and it caused a blockage in her stomach. We dropped our pup off that morning to get fluids and an x-ray. I come by later that day after work and they had charged me for test I didnt authorize. So that was the first incident of them trying to charge us for things we didnt authorize. We had a family member pick them up for us because they were going to be closed by time we got in from our flight and were excited to see our dogs. I see the bill and it was incredibly high, and not at all what we had talked to them about. They also authorized THREE other shots and tests we did not approve! If you look on their website you can see they only require your dogs to be up to date on Dogs are required to be current on DHLP, Rabies and Bordetella (every 6 months). Also on their website it says they will be checked for fleas and ticks and charged to treat at the owners expense, it doesnt say they will perform unauthorized tests and shots. I couldnt believe it, once again they are trying to rip us off just to make more money! This is not our normal vet, we only board our dogs with them and had to use them as an emergency for our sick dog. They knew they were not our normal vet because we would have our vet send them over there shot records. Needless to say do not leave your pets at this place when needing to get shots or test run!!!! They WILL try and get away with authorizing tests you didnt ask for just to rip you off!!! Make sure you write down exactly what you want done and have it signed because if not this crooked vet will try and rip you off. Read Less
