The stray cat I took in about a year ago was very sick w/upper respiratory infection. I took her to the El Reno animal clinic & they helped her alot. However, she still had problems with her right eye tearing up & closing. I'd treat it w/some medicine he gave me. That helped for awhile but soon flared up again & again. After a year later I took her to Canadian Valley Animal Clinic for vacs & exam. They gave her a topical wormer & tested for FLV which turned out negative. After a few days she never looked better. First time dealings with them. Walked in the front door, they are all about their pets which is okay. She was real happy to send us to the large animal part. Oh, it is in another building. Completely Unmarked. No obvious front door. Had to try every walk- in door we saw. The 'front door' was INSIDE another door. Not much friendly people, scared to death of our bull, we had to load him ourselves. NO health papers were provided, no thank you, no nothing! Will not recommend them to anyone. I can't say enough good things about the vets and staff at Canadian Valley Animal Clinic. We take all of our small animals there and have always had great service, even during hard times like our dog, Dash's cancer diagnosis back in 2015. Most recently our cat, Leo, developed a very big, abnormal swollen belly. We took him in to see Dr. Daniel Eisenhour, who kept this cat momma calm even through an unknown issue and ultimately performed an after hours surgery during which he discovered and removed a lipoma from Leo's abdomen. Two weeks post op Dr Daniel even called to check on Leo and see how he was recovering. Took my sweet Kylo here! He was neutered and it was more severe as a testicle never dropped, but the doctors and nurses took such great care of him. They're so nice up there, I never feel annoying if I have questions and they've even gotten him in one morning for an emergency on the weekend. Their prices are nice, not too steep. I took our Abbey there to get her teeth cleaned. She had an abscess and they took very good care of her. The doctor called me after he had finished to fill me in with everything that he saw. They only performed the services I requested and the charges were exactly what I was quoted. I highly recommend them. Read Less

I have been taking my "kids" there for more than 20 years. Everyone there is caring and friendly! I would not go anywhere else for vet needs. Even when I had an emergency on a holiday, Dr. Amanda met me at the clinic. She helped my through a very heartbreaking time with Dozer! I can't thank her enough! Lucky rebuilt my Lucy ' s leg after she was hit by a truck. Kim and April are so friendly and always remember my kids names. I could go on and on!! DON'T GO HERE!!! SCAM-SCAM-SCAM!!!!! (Only gets a star because there is no Negative rating system!!)I just returned from getting my female dog fixed, they told us over the phone it would be less than $100 Total! That's the only reason we went to this scam-clinic...After taking our dog and seeming professional while we were there, we began getting the red-flags as soon as we drove a few miles away. The first call, less than 3 minutes after leaving they wanted to make sure it was okay to add on a blood test, "no big deal very standard", my wife didn't ask the price, instead said "okay yeah if she needs one." Then about 20 minutes later the next HUGE Red Flag! The clinic called my wife to see if she wanted them to clean our dog's teeth while they already had our dog asleep for the procedure. My wife started to say yes, but then asked the price before deciding. "Oh it's only $150" was the employee's response my wife looked at me totally amazed at what she had heard. I asked her what they wanted now, she told me what they had said. I was shocked, and felt there must be some misunderstanding. Our dog's procedure did not take too long but when we arrived to get her, the employee working the front desk (different than the one we had spoken to that morning) said "okay well it's $190.00", our jaws dropped. "No we called and spoke to you guys a few days ago and it's supposed to be Less than $100, more like $85!" we told her. She said, "Oh well our prices on everything just went up, so whoever you spoke with must have quoted you the old prices." So there we all stood just staring at each other. She finally spoke, "well let me go back and talk to my manager." It was at this point it All-came-together...all of this is Standard procedure for new/used car salesmen! The only difference is they hold your dog hostage until you pay them they "New" prices that conveniently have doubled. She returned only a couple seconds later, obviously she was not a pro at playing along with their scam yet, she blurted out, "Well I'm sorry but that's the price, gosh I'm sorry about that." and they just stared at me and my wallet.
