General Info
Dr. Anna was born and raised in Guthrie, Oklahoma. As a teenager, Dr. Anna found her beloved pet dead on the side of the road left to die without any help. That was the moment she decided to become a vet and vowed to help other people and their pets. After a few years of practicing in New Hampshire, Dr. Anna became homesick and decided to return to Guthrie to be with her parents and five other siblings. Family and friends are a major part of our lives which is why we treat our clients as family. Dr. Anna and her husband do not have children but our very proud pet parents and therefore, treat every four legged friend as part of the family.

Highly recommend this vet! Very caring and compassionate vets here. My cat contracted Bobcat Fever and was very ill when I took him there. (My other vet couldn't fit him in that day even though I stressed he was burning up with fever.) They did everything they could to save him, but unfortunately the disease is usually fatal. They were so kind and even put his body in a miniature coffin so I could take him home. Their prices are very reasonable (especially if you're coming from Edmond!) They gave me an estimate of charges and it was spot on. It is nice to know up front what to expect and not have shock when you pay your bill. There are other good vets in Guthrie, but I haven't seen this level of caring before.

We have used Dr. Coffin for the past 14 years. This week, as we saw her with our new puppy, I am reminded AGAIN how AMAZING she is!! She is so patient and so very knowledgeable. She gave me a 15-minute puppy overview that was more thorough and insightful than ALL of the online puppy tips I've been reading. I trust her judgement implicitly. So thankful for a wonderful pet vet with a wonderful staff too!!!

My parents, and my childhood dogs go to Anna, as well my girlfriend now takes her dog to Anna. 3 dogs across 2 separate families have needed special care beyond normal check up and vet attention. Anna and the staff at the Guthrie Pet Hospital have taken absolutely perfect care. Anna helped solve a multiple year battle with my childhood dog's illness. Where other vets were prescribing generic medications and steroids that would slow or delay the affects of the illness, Anna looked deeper and tried some more specific medications that literally added years to our dogs life. Endlessly grateful!!!!

This is the third Vet office I've tried in Guthrie, and I'm sticking with them for sure. Dr. Anna and her staff are AMAZING! I just took my pup in for his second round of vaccines and he went in, tail waggin! My Three yr old even loves to go! I won't trust my babies with anyone else.

I'm relieved to have found a veterinarian hospital that I feel comfortable with. I've been searching a while now and have gone to numerous other places. During my first time visit here I observed everything: the way they scheduled us in immediately, the kindness from all of the staff, the pets that roamed happily throughout the clinic visiting with everyone and the dogs I seen come in for their appointments and the excitement they had instead of the typical nervousness I'm so use to seeing at other places. It was a delightful change and I'm happy to now know I have a safe place to take my babies to. Thank you Guthrie Pet Hospital!

We had our poodle puppy neutered at this clinic. We are very happy with the way we were treated and the way our puppy was treated by the staff and the Dr. They use the safest anesesthia and monitoring of any other clinic in town. His recovery was quick and uneventful. He had just a tiny incision with no stitches to have to remove. We definitely would recommend Dr Coffin. Our dogs are our babies, and we are very picky about their care. Thank you for your professionalism and compassion.

I as very fortunate to get to work with Guthrie Pet Hospital as a stand-in groomer. I saw first-hand how every animal was treated as if they belonged to the doctor herself. Every animal was treated with love, compassion, and enthusiasm as they were treated, saved from death, or groomed. When I left, my heart was full of admiration for their group as well as a feeling of family. Anna stays up on all the current surgical techniques, medicines and even selects the foods to sell that she believes is the best for her clients' pets. They will even send you a reminder when your pet is due their next dose of heartworm medication, etc. You just can't make a mistake in choosing Guthrie Pet Hospital for all of your pets needs! Do YOUR beloved pet a favor and give them a call. Sincerely, Joanne Wright. (PS. I haven't even touched on their grooming salon. Stef is one of the best around!!!)

They are wonderful, compassionate, and professional. Every single experience we have had there over the years has been of the highest quality. They have seen us through some very hard times and through difficult decisions as well as many, many happy times. They are knowledgeable, helpful and caring. Dr. Coffin and the staff take excellent care of my pets. I would recommend this Vet Office to anyone. They are incredibly knowledgeable, clean, and friendly. They work my family budget and make my money go as far as possible. Which is ALWAYS appreciated.
Every time my daughter goes with me to the vet she has a major melt down. It is so embarrassing, bu the staff at GPH always entertains her and makes me feel very comfortable.

Highly recommend this vet! Very caring and compassionate vets here. My cat contracted Bobcat Fever and was very ill when I took him there. Anna and the staff at the Guthrie Pet Hospital have taken absolutely perfect care. Anna helped solve a multiple year battle with my childhood dog's illness. I'm relieved to have found a veterinarian hospital that I feel comfortable with. I've been searching a while now and have gone to numerous other places. We had our poodle puppy neutered at this clinic. We are very happy with the way we were treated and the way our puppy was treated by the staff and the Dr. They use the safest anesesthia and monitoring of any other clinic in town. His recovery was quick and uneventful. He had just a tiny incision with no stitches to have to remove. We definitely would recommend Dr Coffin.
