THEY SPAYED MY PUPPY WITHOUT ASKING Extremely unprofessional clinic. I had taken my puppy to get her first two sets of shots at ABC since i first got her. For the last set of shots the receptionist said we had to schedule her an appointment so we did. I brought my puppy in and the receptionist asked me “what are you here for today?” i told her “I had an appointment at 9am for my dog to get her last set of shots” the lady then asked me “okay has she gotten her first two sets yet?” I said “yes, a receptionist here scheduled today’s appointment for her last set and told us we could drop her off and pick her up when we get off work”. The lady proceeded by handing me a small slip of paper, practically a large sticky note and told me “this paper is for contact information so we know who to call when she’s ready”. I filled out the paper and asked how long it will be. The lady informed me that it was a busy day so she won’t be ready until the end of the day. I mentioned three other times that my dog was there to get her shots just to be positive. THEN, a lady, who DIDNT EVEN WORK FOR THE CLINIC TOOK MY DOG TO THE BACK ROOM. She weighed her, and took her to another room. Her excuse, “i used to work here”. Extremely unprofessional. Extremely unsanitary. When we came to pick up my sweet pup, they handed a release paper to us to tell us how to care for a surgery pup. When i mentioned “i brought her in for her shots, not to be spayed” the clinic employees looked at us frozen as if they had made a huge mistake. Yet they did nothing about it and still made us pay. They are one of the more reasonable priced places to bring a pet. I have brought one of mine to be spaded and complete lineup of shots, I also being my other two for their shots as well. Good people and kind to my children. I can't think of anything to say bad it's a great place and we are lucky to have them. Read Less

I took my new puppy Gizmo in to be neutered on 10/11/17. The staff was very busy as can be expected at these prices but also very helpful and friendly. I picked him up that afternoon and he did great. The incision is almost invisible and healing good. They neutered him, gave him his puppy vaccinations, sent him home with a Elizabethan collar and even clipped his nails. All of the paperwork including the Rabies tag and post surgery instruction were given to me and the young lady even petted him and called him by name when we left. Got my dog who is 7 months old spayed here. Dropped her off at 9am and didn't get her till 5pm. The didn't explain how to care for the incision and whether it was glued or stitched. When I walked inside my dog could barely walk and was liquid pooping and bleeding while coming to me. They told me the blood was because she was in heat... Why would she be in heat after being spayed? And if she started heat after I dropped her off why did you fix her??? That is very dangerous! I now have to take her to a vet in the morning because her gums are pale and her valva is bleeding and she is pooping blood. Do not go here to fix your pet, or to get them shots! Read Less

My dog passed within hours after getting fixed here, with no explanations. People need to learn, pets are not just animals, to us they are our family. She was my family and please, don't put yourself through any pain and suffering, go seek care from another facility, hug your pets a little tighter and take in every moment, because it goes away too soon. I brought 4 kittens to be spayed/neutered, and I was very nervous. I brought them in around 7:45, and was able to pick up around noon.  My babies did just fine. It's been 2 days now and they are doing fantastic. The facility is clean with no weird smells or anything and the staff was very friendly. I was quoted a price and it was $10 cheaper, which is great for me. My babies came home still a bit messed up from the medication,but I would rather them recover at home than overnight in a weird place. Anyways, I'm rambling, but I was very impressed with the animal birth control clinic. $200 for two spays,two neuters,and 4 rounds of shots including rabies. Read Less

I had my 6 month old puppy spayed at the clinic just yesterday and she is already feeling well! My puppy went in to the clinic at 8:00 am and was done and ready for pick up at 1:00 pm! I was so grateful to not be away from her very long. They even brushed the stick tights out of my puppy's head she got the night before surgery while she was out, my puppy will not let anyone brush her when awake. That was extremely helpful!! This clinic almost killed my dog! Had him neutered and he developed a nasty infection. Took him to another vet and I was told they did not put the incision in the correct place. Please do not use them! I will be contacting an attorney.Read Less

They did a fantastic job neutering my boy Hershey. My only complaint is that the poor dude wasn't sent with any type of pain medication. If a person undergoes a surgery like that, they're given meds to help manage the pain. Why should our fuzzy buddies have to suffer through it? Read Less

I have always had fantastic service from the ABC Clinic staff. Their prices are fantastic and they do a great job. I've read some of the reviews and find that many of the negative ones are from people that obviously have no clue about vet clinic and their procedures. Do they think that their dog that is still feeling the effects from the recent spay surgery would be walked on a leash outside to urinate and defecate? Just like people in surgery or recovering from surgery, they sometimes lose control of their bladder and bowels. Worst animal clinic in town. The staff is rude. They also handle the animals in a questionable manner. There's no reason to man handle a puppy just to give a shot. Reducing prices for procedures and shots means terrible service. It's bad that the humane society of Lawton is associated with this clinic. It gives them a bad name. It is in every pet owners best interest to avoid this place.Read Less

Great place to get a fur baby annual shots and fixed!! Only $65 to get both for my 17lb pup!! I arrived first thing in the morning to drop her off.  When the Dr. found out that I drove an hour she said she would start right away so I wouldn't have to drive home just to return later that day. So I did some shopping at a nearby shopping center and before I knew it I received a call that my pup was ready to be picked up.  We were sent home with her tags and written instructions for after care.  I would definitely recommended the ABC Clinic to a friend!
