In my opinion, there's not a more knowledgeable, more caring vet around. We've been using Dr. Kenneth Oliver for over 30 years. We've had celebrations and sadly end of life experiences with the vet....
In my opinion, there's not a more knowledgeable, more caring vet around. We've been using Dr. Kenneth Oliver for over 30 years. We've had celebrations and sadly end of life experiences with the vet. He is very accommodating and very compassionate. He truly cares! Love the vet and the place! Cannot get better service! I'm taking my sweet Abby there tomorrow due to a problem with her ear. Also, he is one of the only vets I am aware of who will give you his personal phone number for emergencies!!! Cannot go wrong with this vet and his clinic@!

All my pets love Dr O and can't wait to see him. Such a wonderful change! The staff is always helpful even if the vet isnt available. He always ends up saving us money too!! Wouldn't change to another vet. EVER!

n September 2018, I took my two dogs to Amber Oaks Vet Hospital to have both dogs' teeth cleaned. Both dogs are 12 yrs of age, the vet requiring a blood panel on dogs over 8 yrs of age. Although this vet clinic may have "state of the art" equipment, I believe $722 is a tad pricey for the teeth cleaning of two dogs: one 3.5 lb yorkie and one 5.1 lb Pomeranian (one tooth extraction per dog). My dogs have had teeth cleaning done at this facility in the past, but I never paid more than $250 per dog. I live nearly 30 miles away from Amber Oaks and have been taking my dogs there for teeth cleaning since moving here. But after checking into the cost of teeth cleaning at veterinary clinics located closer to my area of town, I will not be going back to Amber Oaks: other vet clinics charge on an average $175 for teeth cleaning, which includes anesthesia, nursing care, and pre-medication; whereas, Amber Oaks' fees are $130 for teeth cleaning, $64 for anesthesia, $21 for nursing care, and $26 for pre-medication for a grand total of $241. The cost for blood workup at a highly recommended veterinary clinic in Oklahoma City is $64, whereas Amber Oaks' blood panel lab fees total $130. Hence, Amber Oaks charges 30-50% more for teeth cleaning. I have had my dogs' teeth cleaned at veterinary clinics in other states as well; all work has always been performed professionally. The only difference is in the costs of teeth cleaning, and I do believe that what Amber Oaks Veterinary Hospital charged me for teeth cleaning is a huge ripoff!

They are knowledgeable and none frightening professionals. They're the only veterinarian hospital I've ever gone to that doesn't scare me when I bring in a sick pet. By that I mean they don't throw cancer out at the drop of a hat. (Not that I have sick pets all the time, but you know what I mean haha) I cannot recommend them enough. Also, the monetary aspect. They won't don't umbrella tests and charge you through the roof. And by that I mean if it looks like a cold they aren't going to scare you with say cancer and tell you to do all of these tests as a catch all. If you had a cold would you immediately go for an MRI?

I absolutely love them. They're everything I expect from a Vet. I've lived all over Oklahoma and these folks really know how to provide amazing service and quality health care to your pets.
They're not going to over charge you for an experience and with so many vets out there today that's a lot of what you pay for, you can tell this is not the case here. Great location, building is custom and well built.
Kennith is amazing, you'd be crazy to take your animals anywhere else. I can report that the staff is nice, knowledgable and helpful.

We took our dog there for shots and care for seven years. When she was killed by a car we took her for disposal. They refused the body and said that service was for customers. My wife reminded them that we were, of which they rebutted that it was only for animals they put down. We therefore had the privilege of storing her body over a hot July weekend until the city could take her. The care was otherwise sufficient.

I travel a lot. My best friend is my dog. I have boarded him about 15 times in the last year at Amber Oaks. It is a 60 mile drive roundtrip for me to Amber Oaks. I will not board him anywhere else. I have never had any type of issue or incident with boarding him here. He never has an oder, he is clean and in good shape everytime I pick him up. The young men who care for him are great and the Doc is even better. Trust Amber Oaks - I do! JLC

In my opinion, there's not a more knowledgeable, more caring vet around. We've been using Dr. Kenneth Oliver for over 30 years. We've had celebrations and sadly end of life experiences with the vet. He is very accommodating and very compassionate. He truly cares! Love the vet and the place! Cannot get better service! I'm taking my sweet Abby there tomorrow due to a problem with her ear. Also, he is one of the only vets I am aware of who will give you his personal phone number for emergencies!!! Cannot go wrong with this vet and his clinic@!

They are knowledgeable and none frightening professionals. They're the only veterinarian hospital I've ever gone to that doesn't scare me when I bring in a sick pet. They're not going to over charge you for an experience and with so many vets out there today that's a lot of what you pay for, you can tell this is not the case here. Great location, building is custom and well built.
