The best vet clinic ever. Beware, Dr. Eskew is a talker! Sweet and soft spoken. He goes out of his way to care for the animals. Personally attends animals that are overnight for observation. Goes out of his way to treat pets but isn't a nutjob like you find at Petsmart (who would do surgery at the drop a hat). He is a good old fashioned country doc and you can ask him anything. You never feel rushed. Clone this man. Please.

Dr. Eskew is the best vet I have ever encountered. He is both knowledgeable and a true animal lover. His staff is every bit as good as he is. My pets are like my children and I would not trust just anyone.I believe that my little guys are given the best care possible. I have been taking animals to the Alameda Animal Clinic for 25 years. I will continue there as long as they are open.

The whole experience, from door-to-door, is great. The nurses are fantastic, friendly, and helpful, and they're always happy to see you. But you know, Dr. Eskew is an odd duck. I mean that in the best way, possible. The first time you hear him through a door, talking to your dog, asking her questions and then continuing the conversation as if she'd answered in English, you think "This guy is off his nut."

This is the best vet I have ever been to. They are so kind and really care about animals. The doctor relates well to humans and animals. I moved to California but I wish I could fly back and take my dog here bc I haven't found a vet quite as wonderful as this one!

they're great. i needed a last minute appointment when my pup was having a (non-emergency) problem and they were able to fit us in. they have their own online pharmacy as well that has pet meds prices...
they're great. i needed a last minute appointment when my pup was having a (non-emergency) problem and they were able to fit us in. they have their own online pharmacy as well that has pet meds prices, which is definitely a plus. only negative i have is that they called me at like 7 or 8 on a saturday morning one time to confirm an Rx... way too early for a weekend!
