General Info
Our goal is to provide high quality medicine in a compassionate, cat-friendly environment. We pay attention to the smallest details to enhance your cat's safety and comfort. You and your cat will have a quiet and comfortable experience from the moment you walk in. No barking dogs means a less stressful environment for your cat. Our exam tables and kennels are non-stainless steel to reduce noise and increase patient comfort. We use non-skid mats and towels for our elderly patients and others with mobility issues that may cause them to slip on the table.
We believe in considering the needs of the client and the cat when developing a care plan. We offer therapeutic laser treatments for conditions such as arthritis, chronic pain, wound healing, and many other conditions. Alternative medicine options such as acupuncture and supplements are available. We perform in-house bloodwork, urinalysis, and ultrasound, and all ultrasounds are sent to a board certified specialist for interpretation.
We follow American Association of Feline Practitioners guidelines for vaccinations and deworming, and use only Merial PureVax vaccines, which greatly reduce the risk of vaccine reactions and injection site cancers.
Dr. Edwards is an Oklahoma native and graduate of Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She spent her first six years of practice in Colorado and Florida, and brought three feral cats from Florida to live with her in Oklahoma. She has special interests in geriatric medicine and pain management.

Dr. Edwards was amazing with my kitten Penny. Since I am a first time cat owner she stayed with me and my S.O. and answered all of our questions and gave me so much advise. I did a lot of research prior to getting Penny and I still didn't know a lot of what she taught me about cat behavior. Dr. Edwards and her team were both amazing! This place came highly recommend from a friend and it was still better than my expectations.

Dr. Edwards is the very best vet I have ever been to. She has amazing rapport with her patients and humans. She and her staff are so knowledgeable about all things cat. She genuinely cares about your baby. I have had to help one cat cross the bridge, and she made it so much easier for me and it was a beautiful process. My cats love going for their checkups. They purr and purr. I have never received the kind of service I get here anywhere else! When my cats are happy then I am happy! We Dr. Edwards!!

Easily the one of the best places to take your cat in Norman. Cats only, so no dogs to make an already stressful experience even more so for cats that are not used to them. The staff is extremely polite. The technicians and vets are some of the best. They've always given me a full range of options, patiently answered any questions I have, and back up all statements with current research. They stay up to date, which means you'll always get the best care for your cats. And most importantly, they care. As long as I live in Norman, I'll bring my cats here.

Amazing!! Hands down best vet in town! Maybe ever! Dr Edwards is a genuine cat person, my kitty was hiding under a chair in the exam room and she got down on her hands and knees to introduce her self to my baby! The staff is great too! I was very nervous about my kitty's surgery and probably called 50 times with questions and they were so great walking me through everything and calming my nerves. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!

We came to her for a second opinion after getting some grim lab results from another vet who didn't really offer much of a prognosis and left us with a lot of questions. She walked us through our cat's issues and let us know all the possibilities and our options. She is very knowledgeable and took time to explain everything to us and answer all our questions. Her staff is very kind and helpful as well. If you're looking for a vet who is up-to-date, considerate, and cat-focused, she's the best! Our cat is doing great thanks to her care!

Initially, I went to this location because they were the only feline specialists on my side of town. This is one of the best decisions I've ever made. The kindness of *every single person* working in that building humbles me. The care is top-notch. Two of my senior felines crossed the Rainbow Bridge at the Cat Clinic of Norman. Both times, multiple people in the facility cried, including Dr. Edwards. I can't say enough good things about the empathy, high standard of care, and genuine love of animals that you'll find here. TL;DR: A+.

The vet is very informative and caring. The front desk staff and vet techs are also very considerate. I've never felt rushed or unimportant; they made my cat and me the priority while at our visits. When our cat was really sick the vet provided emergency contact info and helped us get an impromptu appointment. We had already established my cat as a patient.
The only downside I've experienced is that in the three times I've visited, I've never been there for under an hour. But that always included extensive time with the actual vet. The location is so convenient that it took the same amount of time as driving to a farther location, so I didn't really mind. Just plan accordingly.

They are professional, the staff is wonderful, and Dr. Edwards is excellent. Prices are a little high, but you get what you pay for. I love the Cat Clinic of Norman.

Hands down the best vet I have ever taken my cat to. Dr. Edwards is absolutely amazing. She is very thorough with everything and answers any question that you could ever want to know. She knows my cat by name as soon as we walk in the door and she handles him so gently. The entire staff is always friendly and very helpful. If you take your cat anywhere else, you're crazy. If they took other animals, I would take my dog here, too.

A little expensive, but they treat my cat better here than I have ever been treated by my own doctor. They keep track of her well being, and even fill her long term prescriptions without having to see her every time. I call them when she has a change in eating habits (she has a long term stomach condition) and they are more than happy to discuss her medications and possible things to help out over the phone. I love this place.

The Cat Clinic of Norman has a very caring office. When my cat was diagnosed with cancer, they were able to immediately give her a biopsy and they did a great job with closing the incision and she healed quickly. When I boarded Rochelle for a week, they kept good care of her and they could give me an update off the top of their heads when I called to check in. Unfortunately, cancer recently sent Rochelle to kitty heaven. The staff at the Clinic sent a sympathy card to me full of long, personal messages, which was just amazing. I strongly recommend this office!

I've been going to this cat only veterinarian for several years with my senior cats, first to Dr. Miller and now to Dr. Edwards. I've found the entire clinic staff to be outstanding in thorough care, as well as friendly positive attitudes. Dr. Edwards applies new research and techniques, listens carefully, and takes time to explain things. My 18 year old cat just passed, she had pancreatitis, diabetes, arthritis and renal disease - Dr. Edwards provided the best and kindest care I've ever seen from a vet, including a house call at the end. I won't go anywhere else with my cats.

The only downside I've experienced is that in the three times I've visited, I've never been there for under an hour. But that always included extensive time with the actual vet. Absolutely amazing! The entire staff made was outstanding! They all understand that your cat is the most precious thing to you. Dr. Edwards is excellent! She took her time with me. I did not feel rushed when asking my questions. My cat really liked her! She never tried to hurt or to run away from Dr. Edwards. I recommend everyone to take his or her cat(s) here! Thank you so much for being patient with me and my cat and for your kindness!!!

Hands down the best vet I have ever taken my cat to. Dr. Edwards is absolutely amazing. She is very thorough with everything and answers any question that you could ever want to know. She knows my cat by name as soon as we walk in the door and she handles him so gently. The entire staff is always friendly and very helpful. If you take your cat anywhere else, you're crazy. If they took other animals, I would take my dog here, too.

A little expensive, but they treat my cat better here than I have ever been treated by my own doctor. They keep track of her well being, and even fill her long term prescriptions without having to see her every time. I call them when she has a change in eating habits (she has a long term stomach condition) and they are more than happy to discuss her medications and possible things to help out over the phone. I love this place.

The Cat Clinic of Norman has a very caring office. When my cat was diagnosed with cancer, they were able to immediately give her a biopsy and they did a great job with closing the incision and she healed quickly. When I boarded Rochelle for a week, they kept good care of her and they could give me an update off the top of their heads when I called to check in. Unfortunately, cancer recently sent Rochelle to kitty heaven. The staff at the Clinic sent a sympathy card to me full of long, personal messages, which was just amazing. I strongly recommend this office!

I can't imagine taking my two cats anywhere else! They always get me in right on time and get me out as soon as possible. Dr. Edwards is amazing with my boys. I'm so pleased with the pleasant and quick service here, I wouldn't take my cats anywhere else.

I've been going to this cat only veterinarian for several years with my senior cats, first to Dr. Miller and now to Dr. Edwards. I've found the entire clinic staff to be outstanding in thorough care, as well as friendly positive attitudes. Dr. Edwards applies new research and techniques, listens carefully, and takes time to explain things. My 18 year old cat just passed, she had pancreatitis, diabetes, arthritis and renal disease - Dr. Edwards provided the best and kindest care I've ever seen from a vet, including a house call at the end. I won't go anywhere else with my cats.
